The problem with that is the image I posted of them winning was the prototype 2 of my crystal beasts after implementing the information gained from those three duels.

Ghosts would stop working after losing a duel. their duel disks would be a bit different than the organic people, but they'd still cause someone to go red if killed by them.
One had to have dealt the finishing blow to turn red. They'd still be green and Akiza and Konami would have to be considered dead due to their own loss of will to live. Just to have things make sense, they were rather depressed during that duel.
OOC: All of a sudden those girls look a lot darker.. I guess there really is some form of seriousness in pretty cure. BIC: *Jesse is nowhere to be found* *the corpses of Akiza and Konami lie motionless with no longer glowing duel disks. Their pulses had stopped.*
