Yeah, it's great that you've been feeling better. You seem like a nice person who deserves better than what you've had to put up with. Thanks for your comment earlier, I appreciate it. People are the only thing in the world that can help if you've got a problem. I'm naturally a very solitary, quiet and introverted person, so I usually try to work things out on my own. But if you've got a real problem, your friends and family are the only ones that can help get you through it. I know it sounds cheesy but it's true so...
In the end, Kairi is just not a likeable or appealing character, for so many reasons. That's why people mentioned Namine. Like Kairi, she has flaws, but unlike Kairi, she is a likeable character, the kind you can actually care about. Kairi is seriously lacking in depth.
Yes, it's all true. Axel is not the nobody of either Riku or Reno, obviously. I was just making the point that the storyline of KHII might have been better if Axel was Riku's Nobody. That's all. I know he isn't in reality.
... lol. Still, the first two books are great. Let's just pretend the ending never actually happened. BTW, did anyone notice that they changed the name of the first book? It used to be "Northern Lights", now it's "The Golden Compass". The new title makes more sense, but I hate when that happens!!
Yes, I suppose on further examination, it doesn't really make sense. I still think they have similar hair, but their personalities are too different. I'm just saying that Nomura could have made Axel Riku's nobody if he had wanted to. It kind of would have made the story of KHII a bit more complete, if we got to meet the Nobodies of the 3 main characters. I don't actually think that Axel is Riku's nobody. But it would have been interesting if he was.
Which commercial is this??
About Axel and Reno, Nomura once said he wanted to create two characters who looked and behaved almost exactly the same, and to put them in different roles. Maybe Reno did become a heartless though...
Yeah, you're probably right about Axel and Larxene! Just, the way they talk to each other and stuff. Although maybe it's possible there was something going on between Larxene and Marluxia! 0.0... It would explain why they were scheming together... Unless Marly is gay of course, which I wouldn't rule out as a possibility!
I don't know about you, but I was really expecting Axel to be Riku's nobody. They have the same hair, kinda, and it would have made a lot of sense. Although I'm not sure if Riku was ever a heartless. Would have been a nice idea tho. Just so you know, I'm not saying that Axel actually is Riku's nobody. Obviously that's impossible. I'm just saying the storyline of KHII might have been a little better if he was.
Yeah I agree... The Other Promise is easily one of the best Battle themes I've ever heard.
Why does everyone assume that 2 guys that are friends are gay? It's a little weird to say the least. I think they genuinely are just very good friends. Roxas is probably not gay. It seems pretty obvious that he likes Namine in KHII, and they may have fallen in love just like Sora and Kairi. As for Axel, he may well be gay. I dont think it makes any difference, and it certainly doesn't make me like his character any less. And to the person who mentioned Sephiroth x Winny the Pooh,
I got him the Radiohead Greatest Hits album...WTF. ...and a card.
Yes. Or else it becomes a dead fly. Wow. That really was random. BTW, random violence to small animals is one of the three signs of a serial killer. 0.0
What was the hardest Data battle for you in KHII FM+?
The card system is pretty unusual. That being said, it's a much more strategic game than anything else in the series. Building a deck is fun. The thing that makes it all worthwhile, however, is the storyline. I loved watching the Organization plotting and scheming. You don't see that in KHII. And it has Marluxia in it! I recommend getting Re:CoM with Final Mix +. It's just a lot better than the original (plus you can fight Zexion for the first time).
Well, yeah, once I figured out a strategy for him I beat him easily. You have to win the duel against him at the start, take his 2 keyblades and then don't stop attacking until he dies. It seems risky when you do it but always works if you do it properly. I'm working on the Data battles now... Some of them are really easy (Marluxia, Zexion) but then others are near to impossible... (Xemnas!!!! Larxene too)
Did anyone try the boss fight with Roxas in KHII Final Mix? If so, what are your opinions on it? I was so disappointed when I found out the fight between Sora and Roxas was just a cutscene in the original KHII. I mean, they had time for all those Disney bosses but they didn't bother to add in a fight with one of the best game characters ever created! In fact, the new fight with Roxas was the main thing that persuaded me to buy Final Mix once I heard about it. That being said, the boss itself was (IMO) easily the most difficult story boss fight in the entire series. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing.
Yeah, all of the Org. members have an element. Xemnas uses "nothingness", Xigbar=space, Xaldin=wind, Vexen=Ice, Lexaeus=Earth, Zexion=Uncertain (I'd call it Darkness or Knowledge or something...), Saix=Moon, Axel=Fire, Demyx=Water, Luxord=Time, Marluxia=Petal/Flower, Larxene=Thunder, Roxas=Light. If you listen to the Nobodies in KHII when they fight, they often mention their own elements. eg. Xemnas says "Embrace Nothing", etc...
Yeah, I really love that series! I agree with you about the ending though.
I haven't really read many fanfics, but I love yours! It's actually well written (and spelled properly). It's really suspenseful. Well done.
