Well, yeah. Don't suffer in silence or anything. If something is bothering you you can do something to make it stop.
It's been scientifically proven that animals like monkeys and lions engage in homosexual behaviour...
Yep. Versus XIII is being developed by the KH team, and directed by Nomura himself. That's why I think it will be better than the main game.
People often say to ignore them, which is easier said than done. It's probably the only way, however. After all, why should nice people who've never done anything wrong have to suffer at the hands of some ***hole? That's just what I think.
In Ireland (where I live) there is pretty much zero gun crime. Probably only 1-2 % of the population own a gun. However, "banning guns" or whatever will definitely not help the problem in America. It's a social issue that needs to be remedied and treated as such. Putting restrictions on having a gun will make people want them even more. =.= That's not to say that I think everyone has the right to a gun. If they weren't there, people wouldn't need them to protect themselves using guns in the first place.
I agree. Nomura remarked recently that "the Kingdom Hearts series has "succeeded the blood" of the Final Fantasy series in terms of spirit due to it having the element of an action, RPG and more." Don't get me wrong, the FF series contains some of the best games ever created, but I don't think SE can continue to make FF games indefinitely.
Hmm... Interesting question. If you were to approach it from a scientific point of view, it might be to ensure that the world doesn't become over-populated. It's probably closely related to the idea of evolution too. As for why we try to cure illness, I suppose it's another manifestation of man's desire for control over the world. Not that curing illness is a bad thing.
Where do you think SE is headed? Do you think that the FF and Dragon Quest series will remain its greatest assets in the future, or do you think that newer series/games like KH and The World Ends With You will become even more important?
I'm gonna have to go with Shadows on this one.
Oblivion and oathkeeper are my two favourites. They remind me of Roxas, and look great together. I like Ultima Weapon from KHII (not the one from the first game), the one you get from beating Olympus Coliseum the 2nd time (forget what it's called) and Acrossing Two as well.
After thinking about this for a long time, I've come to the conclusion that FFX is my favourite of the series. It moved me in a way that no game has ever done before or since (excluding the KH series and TWEWY). It dealt with themes such as love, death and religion in a totally unique way, and I cried a little during the ending. That being said, I do love FFIV, VI, VII, VIII and IX as well, for so many reasons. But I think FFX is just a little bit better.
Yes, who wouldn't want to be a hexagon? lol
If you really want the game badly, buy it from Play-Asia (with Swap Magic). That's what I did, and it was so worth the trouble. All of this time discussing whether or not it will be released in the US could have been spent earning the money to buy it from Japan. =.=
Have fun! (retreats usually are anyways!)
Yeah, well, I had to be disappointed by at least one FF game. Most people seem to hate FFVIII (which I quite liked actually)...So yeah. Has it actually been confirmed by Nomura that a card system will be used?
Ok, sorry if I go into a rant. FFXII is seriously the most disappointing game I've ever played. It starts out interestingly enough, but the characters are so uninteresting and badly developed. Admittedly, Ashe is pretty intriguing, and Balthier and Basch look cool, but that's it. So basically the story is just a really bland "tale of political intrigue" which utterly fails to create and tension or atmosphere. And then the translator (forget his name) probably felt he couldn't just leave the story as it was, so all the characters speak with anachronistic language and words that haven't actually been used for at least a century. So basically the characters speak like actors in an 18th century play or something, yet underneath it all they're not really saying anything of interest, just yapping on and on about magic stones and swords and all this other stuff it's hard to give a damn about. I actually like the new battle system and the graphics, but there is so much level grinding to do that you don't get a chance to enjoy it. And money is so unbelievably scarce that you can hardly ever upgrade your equipment. You have to fight for an hour or so to buy a single spell. And the music is the worst bit of all. There are no recognisable character themes, and the only pieces I heard in the game that actually moved me (Main theme of FFIV, the Prelude and Kiss me Goodbye) were composed by Nobuo Uematsu, not the new guy. Phew. Sorry about that.
It mentioned "Cupcake" or someone like that... I still have no idea who that is. I can't find anyone with the username Cupcake.
Ok, cool. I really need to read things properly before I post replies...0.0 Could I be Leon, Mickey Mouse, Dr. Finkelstein and King Triton? If not, I ain't particularly fussy about who I am.
Thanks for your support. :) "with the occasional hope that those mistakes get either closed or deleted....xD" =lol. But seriously, I didn't actually know I had done something wrong until I saw that someone had reduced my reputation thingy. I want to apologise directly to the member that was being mocked in the thread, but I don't know who it is so... I just hope they see this.
In any case, we know it's going to be a really fun game... SE hasn't let us down yet (excluding FFXII of course, aka the biggest disaster since...I don't know when). It's the storyline I'm really interested in.
