I wouldn't say he is completely destroyed. I mean I believe he merged with Ven's heart who then merged with Sora. I mean Sora was able to see his silhouette when speaking with Young Xehanort.

THIS IS REALLY URGENT!!

Well I think it could be:

• Kairi (before her training), after all she did somewhat fight with a keyblade for a limited while in Kingdom Hearts II.
• Namine, because she was technically in the front line of battle in CoM and her powers are useless if she uses it on someone who is unrelated to Sora.
• Lea (in Birth by Sleep), also seemed pretty weak to me.
• The FF trio on Destiny Islands may have skills but its useless unless they have a legitimate weapon (I don't know if Wakka's ball works the same way as it did in FFX.)

Despite what I listed, I'm going with the FF trio (particularly Selphie) since the others I listed were in a specific time period ( so they had room to get stronger) or they really weren't in the front-line too much.

Literally, every time this part comes ups when I play KH1, I repeat it word for word every ****ing time. I fought this final boss literally a hundred times and I still don't forget it. Plus, Terranort says something similar to this.

Exactly!! Limit form is literally the best form in my opinion.
1. Redesigned clothes from the previous game.
2. He can use his old moves.
3. He gets healed for each KH1 move he uses.
4. No party members required.
5. Freaking Zantestu/Zantetsuken one-hits all non-bosses!! It also does a lot of damage to bosses.
6. Proves that Sora did remember the abilities I worked to get in KH1.

Sigh...I used to believe that as well until Limit Form came around. I just knew it would be my favorite :).

Yeah I got tired of that too. However, I am going to miss party members but I guess the her dresses make up for it.

Sigh Sora probably isn't even going to be the first player we play as in KH3. It will be probably be someone else who has a justifiable reason to be at level 1 at the start. Someone like Kairi.

That still doesn't explain why he doesn't start off with the basic abilities.
