Zepharus blinked his eyes, memories flashed infront of him. A very young Zepharus was flying, vrey clumsily, in the sky. His tiny wings flapping furiously to try and keep him from falling. He looked behind him to another Dragon, though this one was fully grown and much older, push a very young Xeal off the cliff. A teenage Zepharus was flying through the skies with other Dragons around him. They flew in a V shape pattern, trying to find anything they could to bring back to eat. The head Dragon roared and the others soared through the sky, descending towards their prey. Zepharus stood over his fathers dead body, Zepharus was now in his late teens to early twenties. Taking a deep breath he blew fire from his mouth, lighting the body on fire. A large group of Dragons raised their heads and roared into the sky, mourning the loss of Zepharus's father.
Zepharus looked from Xeal to Namine, a little confused by what was going on. "You think she can undo the spell? It's ancient magic that our kind created, I dont think anyone else knows about it."
"I doubt anyone can help me," Zepharus sighed, leaned back onto the grass and stretched his legs out infront of him. "I've been dealt my hand, and this is what fate has given me."
"That's another thing I dont really remember.... all our lore and folktales none of it. To tell you the truth if I couldnt change into a Dragon I dont think I would believe I was one," Zepharus laughed a little, trying to make light of the situation. "I wish I could remember..... parts of it anyway.... other parts I would keep burried forever if I could."
Zepharus laughed, "You're such a dork Xeal. I must admit though, its nice to have another Dragon to talk to, Kade's nice to talk to dont get me wrong but.... somethings she just cant relate to." OOC: you dont have to hit quote or whatever it is for every post lol
"What day? I was young, and couldnt live with the guilt. So I erasaed my memories using a spell from the time when we first roamed the skies," Zepharus sighed looking back at Xeal.
Zepharus sat up, and pulled his knees to his chest, "I dont remember that.... I dont remember much of anything. My first flight, first hunt, my father's cremation and that day....the day those Dragons followed my orders..... and died for it..... Those are the things I remember most vividly."
so what lucky charm is Zeph bringing back? lol
"Really well concidering I surpressed my own memories I guess I am," Zepharus smiled. "I remember a few things though, more of emotions really but I remember the first time I flew and how scared I was."

OOC: oh...... *changing* BIC: "Well I'm glad your not being pissy anymore," Zepharus laughed as he sat next to Xeal stretching his legs out infront of him and leanind back, resting on his elbows.

"Oh crap," Zepharus's eyes widened in shock at Xeal on the bank of the lake. Zepharus flew down to Xeal's side. "Sorry about that, didnt realize it was you," Zepharus laughed a little trying to make light of hte situation.

OOC: ok fine I dont get what wsa wrong with it but its changed lol. and im not going to ask hwo you know a sesame street song.... BIC: "What the?" Zepharus felt himself spinning and got off his back and started treding water to see what was going on. "Great, as if things werent insane enough around here." Zepharus flew out of the water and transformed into his Dragon form and sent a rainbow colored beam of energy into the lake.

Yeah I agree Ive always like the anti hero better, they just seem to have more character development, well more visable character development. But I cant wait for the book to come out this saturday!!! Isnt there going to be a fourth book? I thought I read something on one of the fansites where he said he might be writing a fourth.

'There must have been a good reason why I made myself forget.... I know I killed a lot of Dragons because they followed my orders and thats why I was in the crystal but other then that I dont remember much before that......ugh why cant I remember?' he thought to himself, one hand covering his face before moving his hand to move the wet hair off his face.
