Caleigh moved to block Reno from getting back to Aveline. Having only her bare hands to fight against and armed man made her a little uncomfortable, but she could probably hold her own. What exactly was Legas' plan anyway? She widened her stance in front of Reno and held her fists up, ready for whatever he'd do.

OOC: Two short posts in a row!? WTF??

Wally held back the angry sigh he wanted to let out. Couldn't crime just wait a few hours?? Jeez. In a second, he'd become a blur of black, white, and a bit of red, running around the block. The colors of the streaks changed to bright yellow and red. Kid Flash skid to a stop behind a building for a second, looking down at the red lightning bold that cut through the white circle on his chest.

“We have these big targets on our chests for a reason, you know.â€

The Flash's words echoed in his mind. He shook his head and pulled his goggles down over his eyes. He couldn't get distracted; he wasn't a sidekick anymore. But he'd gladly be a part of Robin's team if he was going through with it.

If I buy, I like to buy at www.cosplaymagic.com or www.cosplayhouse.com. They're both really good sites that give you quality stuff -- but be ready to lose some money.

Wow. Now I'm glad I waited to buy it. I only want it for KH3D and OoT. But when I played with one in Best Buy, the 3D kinda gave me a headache. >>

What I'm really waiting for is for Nintendo to come out with something that'll really rival the PSP.

@ -dinamplified: That's cool. Faye can be taking some time to herself or something.

@ Britishism: I'm gonna be picky here. Quill and ink and parchment, not pen and paper. (:

Caleigh smirked at Legas. "I'm a member of AVALANCHE for a reason." She didn't really know what he was planning, but he knew what he was doing. For now, she'd trust him to have a plan that would get the two of them out of the Green Dragon without being followed by Reno and Aveline.

Caleigh spared a look at Reno. So that was one of the guys Shears had been talking about. Barret had mentioned him to Caleigh before while talking about the plan with Chelsea and that other Turk, Rude. She looked away again, her eyes settling on Legas now. He was more than a "former Turk," he was the Legendary Turk, the Death God of the Battlefield. He must know all kinds of stuff that AVALANCHE could use. If only Reno would ditch Shinra too.

OOC: Attention, role players. Please fasten your seat belts while time skipping is in motion. Keep all limbs and keyboards inside the thread until the time skip has come to a full and complete stop. Thank you and enjoy the ride.

"I guess we're early," Ben smiled at Rayna. The two had walked from their Transfigurations class to the library together. The library wasn't full of many people -- everyone must have been at the Great Hall, eating. Ben hadn't even thought about when they'd get their food. He wasn't incredibly hungry because he'd been able to munch on a chocolate frog in Transfigurations while Professor Fergison lectured before they practiced their spell for the day. Allowing food in his lesson was just one of the reasons Ben liked the professor.

    -------

Jack sat sideways at the Slytherin table in the Great Hall, his legs crossed on the bench and right elbow leaning on the table. In his right hand, he swirled a glass of pumpkin juice. He was still upset by the fact that he'd somehow managed to cause the Babbling Beverage to turn pink and bubble over his cauldron. And the Divinations exam hadn't been a walk in the Forbidden Forest either. Today was either going to get better or he was going to petrify some people tonight.

Wally tried not to eavesdrop on the conversation Tim and Ra's were having. He looked around again to distract himself and saw someone he didn't expect to see -- Jesse Quick; well, Jesse Chambers at the moment. Like everyone else here, she was not in her super-clothes (as Wally liked to call them). What should he say to her? Should even say anything to her? But he was curious as to why she'd even come to this. He didn't know of a relationship between Jesse and Bruce. Maybe she had nothing better to do and that's why she came. His lips curled down in thoughtful frown. If he wanted to talk to her, he'd have to zoom around the crowd all over again, and leave Tim. No, he could talk to Jesse later; staying with his best friend was more important at the moment.

"No!" Anemos moved in front of his sister, creating an angled wall of air that sent the jet of flames over their heads. His arms were raised and bent in front of him like a shield, keeping the wall of air in place; he could only keep it there for about five minutes though.
Thyella's heart pounded. How could she fight something she couldn't see? She couldn't leave her brother to do all the fighting either. Her useless pride wouldn't allow her to sit back and be protected.

"Hey, what happened?" A kind hand rubbed Elena's shoulder.
"I-I ra-ran into... th-the wall," Elena, ten years old, sobbed, sitting on the kitchen floor of their home.
"You've got to be more careful," Elijah pulled Elena to her feet. "Here," He picked up her walking stick and placed it in her hands. "Use this more."
"B-but, I don't like it," Elena dropped the white and red stick.
"Then hold my hand," Elijah took Elena's hand in his. "And don't let go."

    And I didn't. For years, I didn't.
Thyella grit her teeth. No more. No more letting him do things for me. Her right arm swung in an arc, sending a vicious blast of air at Scorch. She couldn't see his fire, but he was perfectly clear to her.

Caleigh's hands had formed fists the second she'd seen Aveline's knife. She had no weapons on her person, unless you counted a lighter and cigarettes as weapons. She was about to put the SOLDIER into a choke hold, when she realized Legas had something up his sleeve -- literally. She poised herself so that she could intervene if she needed to, but she was also interested in what Legas' response would be to Aveline's demand for information on Sephiroth. That information would be very useful to AVALANCHE. If she could relay it to Shears or Fuhito, they might be able to adjust their plans for the future.

"Yeah, I think so." Anemos nodded to Whiteout. To Thyella he softly said, "Straight ahead and to the left, make a vacuum. I'll take the right."
"Okay," Thyella trusted her brother. She might be able to feel the flames if her air currents touched them. She stepped next to Anemos, ready to try.
The twins raised their arms, Thyella's angled to the left and Anemos' angled to the right. The air around everyone seemed to thicken as it was pulled away from the flames. Around the orange, red, and yellow of the unrelenting fire there appeared to be a white sheen of wind. The twins' arms moved to the side, stretching the air around the flames and appearing the pull them; then their arms came together between them, slamming the air around the flames together, cutting off the oxygen that was feeding them. The flames extinguished suddenly, leaving a tall, dark column of smoke to rise to the sky.
"Not bad," Anemos huffed to his sister. It was a lot of air to control -- not an easy feat for them.
"I smell smoke," Thyella frowned. With a sharp wave of his hand, Anemos banished the smoke away from the group with a gust of wind. It would've been bad for them all to be breathing that.
