Basics:
Guy working for the government got fed up of the US hiding secrets. Found a loophole in the security, took hundreds of thousands of files and gave them to the founder of wikileaks, an organization that published confidential files on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He then took the files and published some of them (I believe 200,000 or so) on the website as well as gave them to newspapers. And this is only the initial leak. He isnt even at the good stuff.

Overall, its a huge leak of secret and confidential US files from the 60's to as recent as last February.

Honestly, I think it is fascinating. I spending every Saturday giving speeches on the U.S. as well as other countries foreign policy, so I am having a field day with this.

My nerd friends and I have been arguing about this for the past few days.

they are staff, quite honestly they dont have to ask you for your opinion on changes like this. seriously. this isnt a democracy. get over it. we've been trying to upgrade for forever and the fact we are upgrading is kind of shocking in a very nice way. so seriously. get over it and move on with your life. if you have so many friends on facebook or MSN anyway and you dont like it, then leave. not that difficult.

p.s. its not july anymore. its august. so technically this change is being made in august.
