i literally forgot I had this exam tomorrow until this morning and the material is so much less concrete than last time. entering panic mode. w-wish me luck ;__;

I'm totally over the moon about this, although I get why not everyone might be given the way some high profile gaming crowdfunding campaigns have gone over the years lol (including Double Fine's). But I just... really like Psychonauts, and never in a million years thought this would happen. After Notch considered it & found it was too steep an investment a few years ago, I'd completely lost hope for a sequel.
They've got a high asking price, but at the rate the funding is going (~$600k as of typing this) I wouldn't be altogether surprised if they were at least a third of the way there relatively soon. It all hinges on whether or not (some of) that momentum can be maintained, I suppose. I really hope so, not just because I want this sequel but because it would also be solid proof of people's devotion to the original. As I recall it did so poorly when it debuted that it played a large part in sinking Majesco and nearly brought Double Fine down with them. That's such a shame given the game's quality, and I'm glad to hear that it's done a lot better as of late.

Sorry, it always sucks when stuff breaks down. I've honestly never had a TV quit on me outright I don't think, and I have a small collection of... Pretty old ones to boot, lol.

I will do no such thingggg >:V. Although I do see X5 catch a fair bit of flak sometimes and I feel like it can be pretty underrated overall haha, I liked it. But yeah that X4 intro stage is probably one of the most memorable stages in the franchise for me, and that music is an important part of why! Maybe I'm just a sucker for awful 90's anime cutscenes with horrifying legendary voice acting but as far as X5 is concerned, personally only some stuff leading up to/during the finale would really give X4 a run for its money.

I'll have to give better advance notice next time :'c this was kinda spur of the moment.

Ahh X4 is my favorite in the series so I would definitely like to!! Once I get a capture card or at least a PC controller I'll give this a go for sure!

Correct; I play almost exclusively on consoles. My computer's rather poor for gaming and I just tend to like playing games in front of a television haha.
I'm somewhat indifferent about the MMX hadoken so I actually skipped it altogether during that run. In retrospect it probably would have made some things that gave me trouble on the keyboard a lot easier (Rangda Bangda was a problem because of the sheer amount of wall-clinging lol).

Yeah, I couldn't imagine a game like Ocarina going particularly well on a keyboard. I admire your determination lol.
