William grabbed Alexandria's hand tighter. "Don't go near it!"
Michael nodded. "But Anna left shortly after them. I have a feeling she's not a hard hearted as she puts off." Velkan growled, turning to glance at Anna and then running off into the fog.
Michael addressed Edward, "Werewolf." There was a soft whine from behind Van Helsing and Jinx, Velkan had come out of his hiding. He sniffed the air and, finding no trace of Anna's scent, lunged for Jinx.
"I don't hear anything," William murmured.
Velkan uttered a low growl, but otherwise stayed silent and still.
"At least try to keep together, okay?" William tried to deal with his sister. Turning to Elizabeth, he asked, "See anything?"
Velkan lurked in the shadows and fog, behind buildings. His nose searched the air for the smell of the hunter who had driven him away from Anna.
"Alex," William reached out a hand and grabbed her shoulder. "Should we really be wandering off?"
