Legion smiled and said "I would be happy to show you around. However, Phisoxa's book won't work for you. Unfortunatly for you, Allen, Westus put a seal on it to keep everyone but Phisoxa and himself from reading it." Legion began walking around the library before he turned back to Allen and asked "Are you coming?"
"Welp, he trusted his journal unto you, Phisoxa." said Legion putting his hand on her shoulder. "It's up to you now to study it and learn it." Legion then took his hand off of her and began to walk away. "There are some chairs in here, feel free to sit down and read. I think I will look up "The Art of War"..."
As soon as Phisoxa finished her statement, Legion let out a laugh that quickly turned into a muffled laugh as he held onto his mouth with his own two hands. Then he let go of his mouth and started straight up in the air. He continued to laugh this way for about 30 seconds before looking at Phisoxa's seriousness and stopping. "Oh... You're serious?" Legion tried to recompose himself "Well uh, yes... haha... All those things are possible."
"Hmm..." Legion walked down to her and then comtimplated on whether to tell her the truth or let her figure it out by herself. Eventually Legion came to a resolution. "Ah, okay, not much harm will come out of me telling you. That is Master Westus's journal. Hidden in the form of a Mythology textbook." He looked at Phisoxa smiling. He then paused for a moment before pointing at the book. "Well? Go ahead and read it."
Legion smiled and took a second before responding. "Ah ha! But that's just it! You are special! You just don't know it yet!" Legion said. He then looked to Phisoxa who was oddly silent compared to their last encounter. "Have you stumbled on something Phisoxa?" Then suddenly Legion noticed the holographic image. "Oh, it seems you have." Legion then looked at his watch "And right on time."
"Hell no." Legion said quickly. "All those guys were jerks. They had a whole war and everything! I think I'm best off being a solo act and I enjoy it that way." Legion then coughed and then said "But... I do need help. The universe has not been balanced for maybe a year now. And I haven't been able to figure out why. I can feel when the universe is off balance, like a sixth sense. But I have to root out the causes myself. I figured out that a mysterious darkness has emerged and begun its riegn of terror over the universe, and I need the help of many people. Starting with you three."
Legion turned to Allen who first posed the question and then turned to Shero who also asked. Legion then turned around to look at a book shelf, pulled out a book and opened it. He then began saying "A libra is a person who is affliated with the Libras. And the Libras were once a massive group of individuals who were deemed worthy to know everything that goes on in the universe for the sole purpose of keeping everything balanced." Legion closed the book, put it back in its spot, and turned around to face the others. "However, there is no group anymore, instead there is just me..." Music Legion paused for a moment and took a couple breaths. "Long ago, the organization of Libras became too lenient with who could be considered as qualified for the job of a Libra. Family members were welcomed. Some shady people as well. Then there was an uprising. Some people wanted to, instead of balancing the universe, entirelly eliminate one side. They wanted to eliminate the darkness in the universe. While I can personally understand why they would want to do that, they didn't understand as I did, that Light and Darkness must exist in order for there to be any future for life. Without one, the other dies out. Darkness needs light and light needs darkness. That's why in all of history you never see one without the other." Legion took a breath and then got back on the topic of Libras "Regardless, those who wanted to destroy the darkness once and for all came into conflict with those who wanted to simply keep things balanced, and a war broke out. Many were slain and only a handful of us were left. After what they had seen, the ones who survived refused to be Libras anymore and decided they would rather live out their mortality." Legion looked up through his ceiling into space. "I was left as the only Libra and have been keeping the universe balanced by myself. And will continue to do so... forever..."
Nny slid his sword between him and Robert and pushed Robert back against another wall. "No..." Suddenly one attempted to attack Nny from behind before Nny quickly blocked the attack and then used fire magic to burn it away. "Are you going to hold me close to you all night, princess, or are we going to get out of here?" asked Nny to Robert. ------------------------------------ Rako chuckled. "Just be careful not to level the entire continent."
The three of them teleported away from danger and into a pocket dimension which was secure from all things save for anything the man wanted there. The man took off his hood to reveal his age was young, possibly in his twentys. He had silver hair and blue eyes. "Now, I'm sorry for all the secrecy, but my name is Legion and I am a Libra. And this is my library." The pocket dimension was a retreat of sorts. It was a massive library filled with all kinds of books. The floor was carpeted but the ceiling was the most interesting. The ceiling was made completely of glass and when looked out of, the stars and bits of the universe could be seen. "This is where I watch the universe, and it is how I learned about all of you. Which is why you will be perfect for my team."
The man held onto their hands and waited for Allen. "You foolish boy, it won't jepordize your integrity! You can trust me that far!" said the man. "Now, grab onto my hand quick and lets go!" Nny darted through the halls, not finding what he was hoping for and then he found Robert combatting his way through the monsters and doing a good job of it. Nny slashed up some of the ones that were getting closer to the survivors. "Need a hand?" Nny asked Robert plainly. ---------------------------------------- "Ha, I knew it..." said Rako "And the only thing you are is arogent. Seriously, I don't even have a head that big, and I'm a demon." Rako looked down. "Hmm... Seems like most of them are gone by now."
"Wrong, I will tell you everything you want to know, but your stay on my team will be permenant whether you like the answers or not. Agreed?" Asked the man. Not shaking Allen's hand. Nny watched as Mixt got away. Nny then decided that he had other things to worry about, and that there would be another time to fight Mixt. Nny continued to plow through the monsters heading deep inside the academy to search for someone... "Yes." Rako said "You were very insightful last time... I was surprised especially since you are a mere human. However, maybe this bet will even the playing field." Rako didn't even turn to face the man, just continued to stare at the carnage below with joy.
"I say maybe 20 or less." said Rako as he walked up beside the man viewing the carnage. It was moments like these that truely made Rako feel pleasure. To hear the screams. To feel the horror. To know the suffering. It gave Rako new birth. A smile came across his face. This was true happiness.
"Absolutely not." said the man bluntly. "I am doing you a favour here, I will expect you to owe me. You join my team and come with me, or you don't join my team and die." The man quickly said after that "And don't even think about lying to me... there are consequences far greater in that situation, trust me." "I only know for sure one thing. That the creature that is attacking is unlike any other. But don't worry. It will be taken care of soon. Unfortunatly, so will this entire school." The man said. "Now, all of you... Take my hands or stay here."
"Hey, dude, you are right on time. You want to join that team now, Allen?" Asked the man nonchalantly The man then turned to Phisoxa and the other girl slowly. He was silent for a second to let things sink in. "Lead you someplace bad?" he said quoting off Phisoxa "This is about as bad as things get! You either take my hand and come with me or you suffer a horrible fate here! I'm not playing games here, this is a do or die situation!" The man then turned towards Allen. "The same goes for you!""
The strange man in the white coat appeared before Shero and Phisoxa "So, listen, remember how I came at a bad time and what not, well, this time I got it all covered. So, I'm gonna have to ask you to trust me. Take my hand and we'll get out of here, K?" said the man as he extended his hand out to the both of them.
Nny slashed and hacked through all the consumers. When suddenly he heard a crash of sorts off to his side. There stood Mixt charging towards where Nny had just left from. Nny looked on the man with an unkindness. Nny didn't hate Mixt, to the contrary, he admired him. Nny believed as Mixt did that if a person was too weak to defend themselves, they might as well die. However, Nny couldn't let an opportunity like this pass by. Nny quickly stabbed a nearby monster and flung it off of his sword at Mixt. Dr. Traken watched the boy carefully, making sure he wasn't going anywhere. Meanwhile the doctor watched as many students, including Allen, ran about in hysteria. What is going on? Dr. Traken asked himself.
Nny pulled out his sword, witnessing the monsters changes and trying to take a mental note of them. Perphaps this was finally a creature worthy of fighting Nny. Nny ran at the monsters, slashing most of the aside with his sword. He wasn't trying to kill them, he was only trying to move them out of his way. He had to catch up to where the line was starting, as Nny was in back of the monsterous horde.
"Oh..." Vitan was shocked, although he hadn't even seen the man yet... or demon... Regardless, Vitan introduced himself "My name is Vitan." he said "It's a pleasure to meet you, and thank you for taking care of me for as long as you did. I know I owe you for a lot of things."
Nny was walking down a hallway when he heard a massive sound echo through the school. Nny ran towards what he thought was the source of the sound, and it lead him to the academy entrance. Dr. Traken was momentarily distracted when he heard the sound, but then turned back and continued to focus on Noire. "Miss, I suggest you get out of here." said Dr. Traken with more conviction now, than before. It was simply the uncertainty of what the sound was that concerned the doctor. "Bad things have been happening ever since that test, and each bad thing is only worse than the last. I seriously suggest you get out of here quickly!"
"I heard him say that... But unfortunatly he is telling the truth, Master Westus's body was reported found about 20 minutes ago." said Dr. Traken "Now, go child. I will deal with this abomonation myself. Westus was my dear friend, this boy will pay for what he has done." Dr. Traken finished the circle on the ground then smiled. "Master Westus was a dear friend, but he was sometimes foolish and must have been caught off gaurd. I am prepared and not so foolish."
