It was the first and only X-Men movie I've ever watched, lol. Umm, it had a bunch of the mutants as teens at the school, there was a big spherical machine that allowed the dude in the wheelchair to fine all the mutants on earth, then that power was taken advantage of or whatever by the bad dude. Oh jeez, there's going to be a movie? ...xD I love this series to death and have read and reread nearly every one of them. It's been ages since I've heard anyone mention them though, so learning that there's going to be a movie came as a bit of a shocker, lol. The movie looks very promising, but of course it is always best to read the book first. :d

I think the first anime I ever watched was Speed Racer since my dad bought the collector's edition when I was little. Apart from that, the first anime I went out of my way to watch was actually Elfin Lied. My friend found the subbed version shortly after it came out and we spent a whole night watching it together. xD
Aside from FLCL, I also found the plot of Chobits to be rather odd. o:
