Heat He gazes out the window, at the icy ground below. The flashes in the dark, reflecting on the snow. He hears the voices crying and, knowing what to do, he calms them all down just like he was taught to. Several breaths are taken, then the mask is passed. Each person holding on with each and every gasp. The floor starts to creek beneath their weary feet. He thinks about his children and not about the heat. -Nights
I'm connecting with your first piece on a molecular level ^^ It was short, sweet, and very realistic. The secondary title should be, "Story of My Life." It's cool to see you've got your own poetry thread now. I look forward to seeing more of your work. -Nights
I get a tendency to just randomly make a thread in the spam zone every now and then. I didn't really change much of the graphics to post in one of the graphic sections and I always forget about "The Lounge" so this made the most sense. Thanks but I really only changed the size on that one. I'm thinking about spicing the images up a bit but ... it's like 90 degrees in my room right now so I'm debating sitting on my porch where the breeze is cool. -Nights
You know, this really is quite sad. This place used to be pretty popular back in the day. Families popping up left and right. Posts all the time. Now it's as mundane as the premium section. @mindy lover, I think it's absolutely lovely that you're wanting to join a family here on KHV. Sadly the area is quite inactive as of late. I can still recommend you a family and you could try to potentially revive it, which would be amazing, but I think this section has become more of an archive than anything. I think you'd be best suited to The Artistic Family. Good luck with whatever you decide to do ^^ -Nights
Number 1. The Spam Zone is awfully spammy as of late. Just a minute observation. Number 2. I've been building an archive of amazing stock images and wanted to PS so you see the result. Number 4. Finally started giving credit to the people I steal acquire images from. Number 5. I skipped three intentionally. -Nights
I'm always happy to get a free game. Didn't really even have to do much. -Nights
There is now a pain in the pit of my stomach and a teardrop streaming down my face ... jerk. I'll forgive you just because of that Frozen pic ... I Dawww'd pretty hard ... at least until I seen the last one -_- -Nights
Boys and their silly little competitions. Those were actually very good performances from the both of you. Extra thumbs up to Krowley for going full theatrical in his. I loved the villainous singing, reminded me of Scar. Congrats to Krowley for winning ^^ Maybe next year, Nova. -Nights
Makaze. -Nights
Jayn, by order of default. Sorry guys but I'm not easily intrigued. -Nights
Misty, she's helped me, and loads more I'm sure, tons and tons of times. Based on an individual time weighing about 1.75 grams. -Nights
I'm going with Skyheart simply because of this post. I don't think anyone is really down to earth ... they're simply on the earth that they perceive. -Nights
Jayn could totally be a rockstar ... or an artist ... or a rockstar artist. -Nights
What? because he came up with one of the most clever usernames I believe I've ever seen, second only to Dumbledore Dies but that was clever for a different reason. -Nights
The drunk is better once your eyes are strained from looking at a screen ... trust me, I'm not a Doctor for a reason. -Nights
Misty because I either don't know the rest or know that they aren't as knowledgeable. -Nights
What? because no other member questions me every time I see them. -Nights
Amaury. I was gonna go with Misty but ... Amaury would still be coming here long after the solar flares destroy all electrical equipment. He can because he's Amaury. -Nights
Nova. Seems like the staff type. -Nights
I didn't know anyone else on that list so obvsly, Makaze. You can't miss someone you don't know. -Nights
