    Yeah, as much as I want more people to at least mention it among KH communities, I think it's better if we sort of stay where we are in terms of activity. I mean, surely we could all use a hare more of motivation to be active and I try to go on here as much as I can with all the sh*t that's been going on in my life, but if it escalated to something super popular, then it's like too many voices are heard, you know? People's opinions get more drowned out and soon it becomes something like a quantity over quality.
    But yeah, I just feel content with where we are. Hopefully when Kingdom Hearts III comes around, we'll be able to spike up some participation and members.

    Ah, the first time I fell in love with Patrick Warburton's voice. The voice of Patrick Warburton. The voice chosen especially for Patrick Warburton.

    After a great pain, a formal feeling comes
    The nerves sit ceremoniously like tombs
    But sooner than you think, he rolls in his grave
    And he spits the truth upon your name
    For the sake of pity, for the sake of the human race
    Perhaps he is the one that does not know disgrace

    Ugh, yeah, I'm surrounded by all these sick people at my school and surprisingly I'm still okay. But more and more students are dropping in and out of class due to illnesses, almost too freaky of a situation. D:

    But in all seriousness, I hear the worst of the flu season is starting to lift up, so hope you get well soon~!

    That moment of the night when you're thinking that it's oddly peaceful because you aren't really doing anything but then don't mind it because hell, it's Friday night... and then you remember about that project due Monday and then all of your good energy is gone.

    Alright, you know what? Since I'm getting no backing on this from anybody else here, I feel like I'm literally out of words of how to respond, what to say. I did say I'm not good at words, so I'll prevent from saying anything more. Sorry this conversation has to end like this, but I just wanted people to understand where I am coming from. And I'm just not getting that at all.

    But that's the thing, lol, it is not plain and simple. It's complicated, as with what I said before. To simply acknowledge that something is racist and move on isn't really gonna solve anything.

    Sooooo, I realize I may be not having a bit o' humor here. Yes, I love Avenue Q. I do embrace some aspects of stereotypes they present but not as certainly exaggerated as they make it out to be. In fact, being an actor, I sometimes do have to play the stereotype role to get work and I have no choice but to well, obviously deal with it. But you know, it's like, at the end of the day, we laugh it off, have a good run, but then go back to reality. Things aren't as sugar-coated and darkly humored as entertainment makes these things out to be. As still one of the many reasons why this is complicated :x

    EDIT NOTE: Please refer to later posts in this thread made by others, as they explain it better than I did. ._.;

    Hi there.

    First off, forgive me for not being good with words. In fact, I don't think I'm the right person to say this. But here's whatever I can muster up.

    Alright, so, you've heard of white privilege, right? It exists. That doesn't mean that white people don't have problems, they just don't have the same kind of problems that non-white people do. It's something that society has been built upon and that we are struggling to overcome. I'm white-passing, meaning that although I'm a person of color, people at first glance see me and don't see I'm a minority because of their image of what that particular ethnicity/race looks like to them. So, I play this "game." I've met people (of all colors) at first where they don't realize I'm half-Asian. When I say that I am Asian, suddenly I'm "exotic" or "different." Sometimes, people have a 180 degree perception of me and that's how I sometimes lose friendships. So I keep my identity to myself until I'm sure that I can trust the other about how they will treat me.

    So, sure, people who do say things like that are *******s. But for white people to say that they feel "offended" by such comments really isn't the same as when a minority feels "offended." I've heard the term "reverse-racism" indirectly and directly used for some kind of alternative to say anything other than just feeling hurt. I'm not trying to inspite guilt in you (assuming that you are white or however you wish to identify yourself as), but this term is something that I feel is quite insensitive to those who do suffer from racism or sexism or sexual orientation discrimination.
