Well, the storyline is coming together really quickly. We're piecing together the timeline right now, then filling details, and then we will start with the actual scripts. After that we'll voice cast everything and get all of that done and out of the way. After we have the whole story, voiced lines, soundtrack, and mechanics, then we can really do animations and programming a bit better. With games like this it is easier to go in steps. You get all the pieces you need, then you can work with the glue and things that bring it together. So give us a bit more time to get every piece of it straightened and if you still maybe want to voice act or something to help pull it together, I'll be sure to let you know.
Well the way I see it, the more I know, the more I'll be able to help others who want to go into certain fields of game design. So it benefits everyone in the long run if I feed my brain. Take your time with SOFA. I'm in no rush really, just wanting something for myself to do to keep me busy on it. Making a game takes time anyhow and I'm fairly realistic with expectations unlike some guys over there. But at the same time I didn't want to zip off making sprites of people you didn't draw yet so it wouldn't be a killer for you to draw from a simple looking sprite. So I still think the best way is to let you sketch them first and discuss colours then me make test sprites until we're satisfied with the designs. Until then I'm happy spriting Kayci and working on the detailed design document. The programmers are off learning more about C++ on smaller applications so when we finally pull everything together all they have to do is knock it out like BAM. I told them to go brush up on skills until they are comfortable making an engine for this and until then we will pop out animations, dialogues and voice acting, scripts, the soundtrack, and mechanics list so when they are ready we can have it all simplified and ready to input. Haha. I think that system will work well and increase production and everyone general knowledge while keeping people busy and letting them look at progress.
Gah, a fire...That sounds bad. My computer is all virus-filled as well. Unfortunately, I don't have another computer to run to, so I'm going to keep trucking along with this one. Well, I'm officially learning 3Ds max now so I can be a pro 3D modeler/animator within a year or two or less. Pretty soon I'll know how to do anything and everything artwise...eh? Star Ocean Fallen Angels is still going along great, got some real progress. Story is almost ready to be filled with dialogue and specific events. Then we can start doing voice casting seriously! <3 Mechanics are coming awesome as well...but I still need spriter help since I'm having to focus on so many things at once. Makes it difficult when I can't just be THE spriter and not everything else too. Haha. There's more musick on my youtube and Marsilio's song is coming up soon. I get to go apply for jobs tomorrow! Finally got my mom to agree to help take me around to do so. <3

Many of you know I come from a medium-not-so-great and sometimes physically and always mentally and emotionally/verbally abusive home. I've been hit, been spit on, have to hear yelling every day. I'm not able to move out because of financial situations and even when I have a job my money is immediately stripped from me or I'm forced to buy my brothers and I food or else we don't eat for a night. I've really wanted to move out completely for some time now. Specifically near my boyfriend so we can get married one of these grand old days. My brother may be trying to help, but its not doing enough to get us out with the tyrant we live under (a.k.a. mommy dearest). She's pushing to get the internet turned off out of spite pretty much now...won't help me find a job and cusses me out because I can't get one (Not really allowed to drive, and all jobs are way out of walking distance and my brother can't drive his far because it was in a wreck now)...I've resorted to clicking ads online, but that's not helping fast enough, though it does help. I pretty much have given up on being able to get out of here until she dies. I've tried since I was seventeen to make my share to help me get out just to have it sucked from me and more. I'm really sick of it. It's nothing but bullcrap everyday...The only time I feel happy is if I'm working on SOFA (the game I'm creating with my game dev team) or other projects, so I'm so happy I have this to look forward to, but without the internet to keep up, it is going to be a pain. Does anyone want to give suggestions? I'm at the end of my rope here, and if I can't access the net, EkIchi (my wonderful game team made up of all of my great friends) will plummet down into nothingness. What should I do?
Decided to try to keep Kayci's Star ocean style while making the sprite bigger and cleaner and giving her a definite pose. I am thoroughly satisfied with this now. <3 Got to get a few more input from the team (they are the ones that requested a bigger sprite), then the animations can roll in!

Oh no...you were sick? That's awful! I hope you feel better...Le sigh. I wish I could take on the sickness for you. Things have rocketed into progress and activity for me this new years, so I'm just rather excited about it all. I've become the admin at SOU just tonight and it is overwhelming with emotion! And joy...oh wait, that's an emotion, scratch that. Uh...lots more musick done.
