Prince Caspian nodded softly and looked towards the sky, "of course..after all I needed to prove that misinterpretation wrong from who ever told you so..." he said tossing another stone himself into the shallow incoming waves. He turned his head and looked at her, "are you the oldest in your family Elizabeth?"
Well I must say...if you hadn't...the thread might not have received a post until much later tonight lol.
Oh...was wondering when we were going to start...guess I did find that message...well I shall do that now then.
Prince Caspian smiled widely hearing that she had enjoyed that, he turned his head and watched her stone skid across the water with great length and number of strokes. He leaned back on his arms and closed his eyes, "thank you miss Elizabeth...for everything..."
Prince Caspian smiled and nodded, he gently took her hand and twisted her wrist slightly and moved it in accordance with the way it was placed. "If you practice with this position of the hand...you will be able to skip a stone farther and longer than you ever have before miss Elizabeth..." He laughed softly, "I had plenty of time to develop the perfect throw over the years...I love coming to this coast..."
Prince Caspian smiled and nodded, "of course..." he said as he turned back to the water as well. He however noticed that she had picked up a stone and began to toss it between her hands, he tenderly reached out and took her hand in his, "would you like to see something?" he said softly.
Prince Caspian laughed softly and turned his head to face her, "I was saying actually the opposite miss Elizabeth..." he said giving her a smile, "I would love your company here with me..." He gently pats the sand next to him, "we can enjoy the beauty of the night and sea together..."
Prince Caspian acted like he hadn't heard her moving along the coast, however his next words proved otherwise, "actually the opposite..if you wouldn't mind..." he said softly letting it trail to her ears hopefully. He sighed tossing another rock into the waters, his thoughts over the day that had taken place.
Prince Caspian gently rested his head on his crossed arms over his knees, letting out a soft sigh. He picked up a small stone and gently gave it a toss watching it swerve and scatter across the soothing waves. He closed his eyes and let the gentle breeze that was apparent along the night coastline touch his face.
Prince Caspian quietly and slowly collected driftwood for a fire, he sighed softly stopping to take a glance out at the cool waters gently washing over the shore. He set the driftwood aside beside him and sat down on the sand covered plain just staring out. "I knew never so much could happen in just one day..." he said with his usual soft tone.
True enough...and definately would rather have them in your hands then in someone who just couldn't do them justice.
