Kross strafed backwards in an attempt to evade her attacks and he felt her keyblade hit his, jumping back a bit."A competitive spirit huh? Well, you're not the only one with it."He said with a grin. Her announcement of her spell made him raise his keyblade and slid back a little as he defended against the attack."That's how you wanna play huh?"
Being a mystic, Kross was clearly light on his feet. He strafed back a few steps from her stuck out leg, retaking a stance and smiled at her. She was quite a strong fighter, and had his admiration, it was just her quiet and cold nature that put him off. He wanted to be friends with her, but she had to be the one to let him in."Karina, you're good...no...you're great.."He complimented, his smile bright, and then he took a fighting stance."But I'll end your winning streak, here and now. get ready"He said, playfully taunting her before charging and went in for a horizontal slash.
A big smile covered Kross's features as he was pushed back by Karina's strength. Looked like she wasn't so fragile after all, she was a good fighter with good strength. He managed to side step her jab, just barely and swung up, attempting to knock her weapon from her hand.
Karina's answer spurred a smile on Kross's face, then his expression turned challenging, the adrenaline of battle suddenly coursed through him."You better be ready then."He said, holding his keyblade tight and then charged at a nimble speed, keyblade raised in the air and leaped up, bringing his keyblade down at a vertical slash, the first move always determined everything, he wanted to get a good feel of her physical strength.
Kross slowly put his keyblade to his side, looking at it for a moment before turning his head to the brooding girl who had summoned her keyblade. He turned in Karina's direction and pointed his keyblade forward towards her."Hey, I want to gauge your skills, do you mind? It'd be good training for both of us if we know each other's abilities." Sparring also brought a sense of improved teamwork, but in his wisdom, he would not tell her that.

Kross leaned in closer, fascinated by the vicious display of power from the male. He shifted, much too restless to resist practice. He got up and summoned his keyblade in one hand. He breathed in, closing his eyes and then opened his eyes, pointing his keyblade forward. A good way to practice magic was to practice stances, and he couldn't neglect practice his magic further, he wanted to hone and refine it.
It seemed like a fight of keyblades was going on, so Kross decided to lean back and watch the people train. He put his hands behind his back, face bright with wonder, these people were good...no, they were great, they had such good training. Any prior training Kross had with weapons was with a stick, and it didn't hold a candle to this. Though he understood, he focused more on magical power, he was a mystic after all and he needed to train with magic. The fact that he could conjure a spell was amazing for him, definitely an achievement in his book."Amazing."He said in a murmur, his grin bright.
Kross blushed and put his arms behind his back, smally smiling to Anora, then looked at the girl in the corner, frowning smally. He heard Anora speak to him and he turned, nodding his head to Yana with a smile of greeting. He turned to answer Anora."The world we were in was a seasonal forest It was strange, the animals could speak and there was one called the Prince, or Bambi. He was an interesting guy, and very friendly too"
"You don't ever get lonely? Hmm..."Kross thought about that for a sec before he smiled softly."I might have to take you along on another mission sometime, to gauge you skills, you know?"He said. Two more people showed up and he stiffened, the white dressed girl named Anora walked up and spoke to him. He looked up to her with a heated blush, then cleared his throat and quickly nodded."Yeah, total success Anora, I hope your m--mission was too?"He asked, stumbling over his own words, and looked down shyly. He had a puppy crush on the white attired girl, and it showed. He looked to her again, gathered his courage and said."I'm just glad you made it back safely."He pushed himself off the wall and looked at Karina."Nice to have met you, if you want to go on a mission, I'd be more than happy to assist you." With that, he left Karina alone, not wanting to bother her anymore.
Kross turned his head when he saw the male approach and he greeted him with a smile and a nod. He was particularly familiar for helping Kross in the forest, he was quite appreciative of that."Yeah, I guess you could call her someone new, she's a fellow keyblader though."He said, so consequentally, the anti-social woman was an ally. He heard her and turned, leaning against the wall beside the brooding woman and his eyes looked up at her."Well, I'm fine here too."He said, playfully teasing her a bit. He then thought for a moment.."Well, my name's Kross, if you feel like talking, but you know, this may be the last time you get to interact with others like you for a while."He said and looked forward."Missions take a while to complete."
Kross turned, his head in the greeting of the general greeting that met his ears. He gave a one-armed wave towards the saluting girl with a big smile on his young face. It was good to have other people to meet and greet, particularly people like him, fellow keybladers. He was social, but not to an extent where it would be annoying. Then his eyes turned towards the brooding female in the corner. Deciding to take the initiative, he approached, it was a casual stroll, and his expression was laced with concern."Hey"He greeted Karina, looking back at the others before glancing to her again."You sure you don't want to meet and greet the others?"He asked her.
Kross caught the sight of his other allies coming through the portals. He grinned brightly and turned, going up the steps leading to the castle, hurrying to the door and paused, blowing into his hands and rubbed them together nervously, before pushing the doors open, eyes squinting at the bright flash of light before his eyes adjusted, smiling brightly."Wow, the interior is impressive"He said. Throwing caution to the wind, he rushed in and slid to a stop, looking around in amazement."It's beautiful."He said.

Kross smiled and hopped up to Bambi."Hey, take care of yourself all right? We'll be sure to visit soon." He transformed back to his human form and turned to Bambi, ruffling his fur and waved to the two, hurrying towards the portal and summoned his glider, hopping onto it and leaned forward, shooting into it and vanished to the Great Hall, he couldn't wait to meet up with Master Eraqus, he was wanting so bad to report a mission well done.
It seemed their mission was a success, they had managed to get most of the animals out of the forest. Kross's keyblade vanished from his hand as he bounded forward to catch up with his friends. It looked like their mission here was not over yet, for they needed to reach the water. He quickly followed after his allies, prepared for anything that may come up.
Kross nodded at his allie's warning and approached at a brisk pace, leaping up and his keyblade appeared in his tiny paws, slashing at one of the Nocturnes. Although the slash was more than likely to do little damage, it could also draw their attention away from the animals so the warriors could finish it off. He landed with a ski and spun around, facing the heartless with a determined look in his eyes.
Kross looked back seeing Aden and glanced forward. He leaped infront of a few ferrets and leaped in the air."Get out of here, get out! The forest is in grave peril!"He shouted, it seemed to grab their attention because the ferrets went off, likely looking for cover. He then looked at Aden and turned to him."Fire Heartless are weak against water or blizzard right? Ugh..I wish I could do that kind of magic"He said.
Kross hopped up towards Aden and stood up straight on his little hind legs."Hey Aden"He said with a smile of greeting. "Sorry to be so late coming here."He said, though the excuses would have to be saved for later. As relieved as he was to see a friendly face, his nose caught the scent of burning underbrush. His expression became serious and he nodded."You're right, we can't let the animals here die, but I'm so slow in this form and I'm not nearly as nimble as I could be.." He thought for a moment, then bounded past him, turning and leaping up in the air, waving his little paws."Come on!"He called out and turned, jumping off.
Kross walked along still. His animal pendant glowed and he retransformed back into his rabbit form, hopping forward. When his brown eyes caught sight of a figure in the distance, he increased his pace. "Hey! Wait a moment"He called out towards Aden, finally a face in this forsaken forest. Perhaps he was friendly..only one way to find out.
