Definitely FFIX. Its easily one of my favourite FF games (If not my favourite) that never ceases to entertain. Everything about it is lovely! If you go for any FF game go for that; the story, characters and music will not disappoint.
I had a similar dream once except it involved the original Star Trek cast, flying robots, poker, a shower scene, old granny assassins, X-Factor (UK version) and a few other things I'm too embarrassed to disclose. It was a pretty awesome dream! :'D

Gotta say, I'm loving this project. With the visuals, concept and the team they've assembled I'm really hoping they get the money for this. I've awready signed up as a backer (my first kickstarter woo!). It's a hefty goal ($580,000 wuff!) but so far they're on target to meet their goal. Even if you can't pledge share their page with all your cyber monkey friends and perhaps we can make this happen!

Is it just me or does Spencer come across as really flippant about the whole thing? CD's statement basically has it's head up MS' backside but MS don't really seem to care. I know it's business but they could at least show a bit of care of their fans.

Obviously, but all CD/SE have achieved is annoying fans of the series. Do you honestly think those fans, fans that are miffed at MS for stalling their game, will now pay them to play a game that will eventually come out on the PS4? It will give MS sales, sure, but I can see it hurting CD/SE's reputation more than anything.
I know its a timed exclusive but it's still a poor move on CD/SE's part. Why sell it first on a console with weaker sales other than getting money from the big guy?
Not when the direct sequel is "exclusive" on a single console, and on the weaker of the two consoles. Didn't Tomb Raider on the PS4 sell almost twice as much as the xbone version? It doesn't make any sense other than Microsoft saying, 'HELLO, BOYS! WHO WANTS SOME MONEY?'
It's cases like this that really show what some developers think about their customers. Throw some money at them and they'll slap their fans in the face, no bother. Pretty disappointed in CD for agreeing to this, but with some of SE's decisions in recent years it's not at all surprising. Still very disappointed in this xbone "exclusive", even if it is timed. Call me petty, but I do hope game sales on the xbone bomb. It's really no way to treat fans of the series.
