Good morning everyone! Didn't post yesterday because I was at the beach all day xP haha. But I'm back. So how are we ?:3
Has anyone else seen the trailer for this ? It's supposed to come out June 2013. Why did they decide to make another Monsters Inc movie ? It's not a sequel, it's the monsters while they're in college. Pulling pranks and throwing parties. They'll probably -almost- flunk or something and then they get their act together, blahblah happy ending. My guess. Maybe tells the story of how Mike and Sully became friends. All the trailer shows is Sully scaring Mike and then the monsters dancing I the hallways and at a party of some sort. Does anyone else think it's a bad idea ? Monsters Inc is a beloved movie. This just looks so, ugh...pointless. Then again, I don't know much about it, and I obviously have not seen it so I can't really judge.. Most spinoffs are very bad IMO though. Has anyone else seen the trailers or sneak peeks ? What are your opinions ? Any predictions ?
I thought it would be pretty cool to fight against the real Sora as a boss. Or mini-boss of some sort. But I don't know if they would ever make that possible..

.-. I already voted in this poll. Probably a few years ago...before I left for so long. I have a new opinion, however. My favorite, I think, would have to be Saix. I love how calm and clever he is. And then he goes into berserk mode, and that's just so beast. Plus he got Sora to get down on his hands and knees and beg. No, the moon is not the coolest power ever, but he makes it look so badass.
I just saw this last night with my little sister, and I was kinda surprised. I thought it would be about a girl who refused to be pushed around and forced to marry some random suitor. Which it was, but there was a lot more to it. Her relationship with her mother is a very understandable one, and I feel that a lot of people nowadays lgbt be able to relate to it in one way or another. Like people above have said, it was kind of a more "serious" or mature story..but Pixar added the beautiful charm to it that draws in children. I wouldn't tell everyone, "It was such a great movie!! You must watch it!!" but if you want to, go for it. It's worth it IMO. I didn't think it was amazing but it was cute, heartfelt, and touching.
I started a Wes Anderson thread, asking this same thing (plus some of his other films), but that went nowhere haha. Well I plan on seeing it, but haven't yet. I love Wes Anderson's creativity and humor though, so I'll probably love Moonrise Kingdom. "It isn't for everyone." I totally saw that coming, haha. A lot of people I know don't get Wes Anderson's work. I am very anxious to see it. I've been waiting and waiting and now it's out, yet I haven't had the right time to see it!! I'll post again once I finally do, which should be very soon.

I would love the whole Riku x Xion thing going on...but I doubt that'll happen. There's the slight chance, but yknow. Sometimes it's kinda like, Riku is the type of character who's meant to be the "lone wolf". Not the kind that needs a lady;p And like I said, SoRiKai is kinda like a threesies thing. Adding in Xion is kinda..random. Haha. Let's hope so.
I heard about those stories too. I think it depends on the person or hair type.. I know this guy from my town's HS, his dreadlocks are so glorious :'D even the guys think it's lovely haha They're pretty thick too. Not ginormous, but thick. I got to touch them :'3 oh how I adore dreadlocks FTW
