'Sup, guys. I've never started an RP before, but here goes... Quite basically, this is a sequel to Final Fantasy VIII, starting from the ending of the original game. I wanted to do this because FFVIII was the game that got me into Final Fantasy, and RPGs in general. I only have very loose plans for what direction the story will go; it's all up to you in the end. Basically, a new sorceress (called Isah; I'm working on designing her appearance at the moment) will come on the scene, and Squall and Co. will have to stop her plans. This RP will include many of the characters from the original, and new ones too. Just post a request for a particular character. Characters Squall - Rinoa - Quistis - Zell - Selphie - Irvine - Edea - Seifer - Cid - Isah - NB: If you want to create a new character, give a description like this: Name: Picture: Optional (Must be original and designed by yourself) Description: Detailed physical description (if picture not included) Personality: Likes/Dislikes: Anything else: Rules 1. Maximum of two characters per person. 2. Keep everything PG 13 - no unnecessary swearing, etc. 3. Get permission before killing off a character. 4. Please try and watch your grammar and spelling, no leetspeak etc. 5. Have fun... Other Stuffs... This RP will begin once the positions for Squall, Rinoa, Quistis and Zell have been filled.
Maybe there could be a separate category for Org RPs, to avoid putting limits on them? It's probably not really necessary, though.
Yes, there are too many topics on the Organization, but it's only natural. They are extremely popular characters (they're my favourite villains), so it's to be expected that there would be a lot of RPs about them. I don't think it's right to put a limit on them; it's not like they're harming anyone and you shouldn't try and control people's creativity. You're totally right about the character ref. laziness. People should be obliged to create new character designs, not steal them from others.
It was the same with the Crash Bandicoot games... God I loved those, until they started to suck.
The 2nd and 3rd games are amazing! But the PS2 games... not so much.

Ohhhh, I see. I hate that thing. There's only one solution: level grind until your fingers bleed! BTW, once you get a character's celestial weapon, an aeon gets Break Damage Limit. Getting Nirvana gives Valefor BDL, and so on.

You need to get the celestial weapons for each character to get Break Damage Limit (ie. it's one of the abilities that comes with the celestial weapons.). I'm not sure if you can get them in the American version, but they're definitely in the Int. Version. You can also get Break HP/MP limit too...
If a member of staff could actually move this, that'd be great! I hate having word-lengths for written pieces, so I suppose anything that's a reasonable length, that you could probably read in a single sitting, if you get my drift...

I don't know if there's been something like this before (well, I searched the forums and found nothing...) so here it is - the KH-Vids Talent Competition! *tah-dah* Basically, if you've got a talent for art, music, writing, photography, acting, whatever, show us! I'll hold a poll in about two weeks time to determine the winner, who will receive the respect/admiration of his/her peers (sorry the prize isn't more spectacular...) and maybe some rep too! I don't see anything wrong with it; to me a sin is something that harms/has a negative impact upon others, and being gay does no harm to anyone at all. Of course, if you follow all that b/s about it being a sin, you'd have something different to say. I think it's just atrocious how Christianity (and other religions, too) classify homosexuals along with murderers and adulterers.
