I've only read it. I do that a lot. Especially if I don't think the anime is as good as the manga. This time I just am too lazy.
Dark flames of rebellion and Armageddon.
No, not shown but referred to by Xigbar when he's talking to Zexion about Xemnas.
The pellet of poison is in the vessel with the pestle The chalice from the palace has the brew that is true
What do you mean? It doesn't look like it'll be in the past to me. I think that it'll follow another timeline but not necessarily only in the past. It could jump around for all we know. It could be all in the future even. Even if it is in the past it may be related. It was their before the Orgy got to it so it could show up even in the past.
Doesn't make sense to me. He lost to another's heartless. He never became a Heartless himself if that is the case. So though it is somewhat like that I still don't think that it makes sense. He may have gotten all darknessy and such but he never like lost his heart. It was always accounted for, we always knew where he was and never once did he become a Heartless. The second time he retained himself and he was a whole. He can't be a Heartless and a whole at the same time. That's how I see it at least.
I like D.Gray-Man. I'm only on the fifth book 'cause I'm lazy. But, so far it's one of my favorites of all time. I think it's the whole strangeness of it that makes it interesting.
I don't hate anything or anyone... anymore.
Whoa I never thought Namine would be evil. Okay just kidding I have no idea who it is. Nice work. I'll think of something wrong eventually if there is anything wrong. I'm just burnt out and all.
Chapter Four- I'm Afraid Of It Sorry but to get this chapter you have to read all of KHTDR:MS. Just how it ended up. Also, Are is not the word 'are' but short for Arelena and it's pronounced "Are-ay". I wonder how many people actually read this. Oh well enjoy yourselves. The Chapter titles do have significance, it's just hard to tell for some of them. Chapter Four- I'm Afraid Of It “Sora…” Riku thought to himself. “Riku. Don’t do anything rash.” Cloud read his mind. “Rash?! What do you want me to do sit here and wait for someone else to do something?! No thanks Cloud, I’m going and you can-”Riku exploded. He stood on the islet facing both Cloud and Squall his fisted clenched in rage at their inaction. Everyone should be looking for Sora and they just wanted to sit around an keep it quiet. “He’s right. Don’t act now. We have to concentrate our best on that.” Squall lifted his hand and pointed to the massive metallic reptile soaring through the air in the distance. “I don’t care about that.” Riku disregarded Squall’s statement as if it was nothing. “We have to find Sora. He’s more important to helping us than trying to fight that thing alone. I don’t even have a key blade anymore and Mickey’s nowhere to be found!” “You can’t go after the past. I know that best. Things happen, there’s no point in trying to change them.” Cloud spoke slowly and evenly. “Mickey is after another objective. It’s best to follow his instructions he left us.” “Things have changed. I’m sure the king would want us to go after him?” Riku shouted at deaf ears. “He’s saved all of us in one way or another. Have you ever thought of helping him out? No. He lifts the weight of the world every time anything happens and you want to wait ‘til it‘s too late? Every second we waste here could be another where Sora is lost forever.” Riku protested hotly. “He’s dead. We can’t do anything for him now.” Cloud replied shortly. “You’re grasping at straws that don’t exist.” “No! You can’t, I will.” Riku turned to leave. “I’ll go on my own!” “Riku, this is how you got lost two years ago. Do you really want that for them? Even if you save him, I doubt you’ll make it out this time.” Cloud looked into the young mans eyes. “No one would miss me.” Riku concluded. “Wai--” Squall began to call after him. “Let him be. He’d be useless in this condition. Just let him go and follow his heart. That‘s his choice. He‘ll have to live with it.” Cloud explained. “Or die with it.” “Fine. But, we leave by nightfall.” Squall conceded. “I know. This time we’ve got more than we can handle.” Cloud almost grinned at this. “No worries. I’ve got help.” Squall lifted his hand and began to stroke his scar. “Really?” Cloud asked, intrigued. “It’ll work out. If not it’s not like we’ll be around to deal with it.” Squall chuckled. “Something tells me that this is one job we’ll finish.” Cloud said, almost to himself. “Well then, let’s go to work.” Squall walked off leaving Cloud alone on the islet. “Dammit!” Nox cursed under his breath. “I don’t have time for this.” “What? Finished already?” Luc taunted. His blonde hair stained crimson with blood. “Well?” “No where near.” Nox replied. Due to the distorting effects of the ‘door‘ the seconds quickly turned to minutes the minutes to hours and the hours to days. The battle had raged on for two straight days without pause. They each had their respective wounds but Luc was worse off. With two deep arm wounds, he couldn’t last long despite his confidence. “I win.” Luc charged forwards. They clashed briefly, the sounds of their steel seemed to fade the instant they were heard. The great void almost seemed to pull it away. Luc went straight into a furious combination of blade strikes and other various attacks. Nox still stayed just one step ahead of him, evading and parrying. They clashed again, this time Nox had wrapped the chain around his forearm. “You lose.” He pushed back the deer antler blades with all his might. Luc paused in pain for a second. Nox took advantage of Luc’s pause and let loose a hurricane of powerful strikes. Each both stabbed and tore at his flesh. He dropped a look of shock painted his face. “Hu- Sorry.” Before he could finish his last was breathed. “Sorry man, this is the good fight. Too bad we couldn‘t fight it together.” Nox stood up straight and fished his other weapon out of his pocket. “Right where I left you.” The small glow remained still. “Alright, time to end this.” Nox walked up to the doors and pushed them open. He was greeted by a cold rank breeze and a soundless voice. Welcome to Hell “Glad to be here.” “You.” Coixu tensed at her presence. “I’m not gonna stand in your way.” The young woman stepped aside. “Well not figuratively either.” “Thanks.” Coixu still made no movements. Though he did stand more casually. “I do however need to relay a message.” She added. “Hm?” He said more relaxed but still somewhat suspicious. “The third senior partner’s been selected. After all this time.” She said nostalgically. “Hm? What’s that-- No…” Coixu’s eyes widened and his face went pale. “’Fraid so. He’s joined them.” She said casually. “Not like I like it either.” “Never thought I’d see the day.” He said half to himself. “I was just as surprised.” She assured him. “So you’re on the top brass?” Coixu asked slowly. “Yes.” She answered simply. “Why help me then?” His suspicion surfacing. “Call it fate.” She said with a slight smile. “I don’t believe in it anyways.” “You’ve more to gain if we win?” He continued. “Maybe. Maybe not.” She continued ambiguously. “Payback is it?” He asked confidently. “Am I that transparent?” She asked honestly. “Perhaps. But, I know you very well. Sophia.” Coixu grinned at his old coworker. “Aurelia to you.” She corrected him. “Come on Sophie. I’m not that bad am I?” He asked friendly at this point. “I dunno, are you?” She asked jokingly. “Well.” Coixu said said indignantly. “Just foolin’ with ya. You’re alright now. We owe him.” She smiled a bit wider and he followed suit. “Why I’m here.” He replied. “Why I’m here.” She responded. “I get it.” He sighed his smile growing. “Don’t tell anyone.” She seemed almost to plead this, in spite of herself. “I wouldn’t do that.” He assured her. “I’m off.” She began to walk away. “For?” Coixu asked after her. “Payback.” Her grin from ear to ear by now. “I hope Nox and Coixu are having this much trouble.” Misxion complained to himself as he stepped into a grand throne room. At the top of the throne sat none other than senior partner number three: Seagle. “You know I have no choice here.” Seagle said solemnly as he lifted himself. He wore armor emblazoned with flying dragons but it had long since lost it‘s luster it‘s beauty. Now it caked with blood red rust and bore the scars of many battles. He hefted a huge stone sword to his shoulder and sighed. His face wasn’t the kind young face it once was. He’d aged at least ten years and his hair was now long and dirty. He looked terrible. “You always have a choice.” Misxion retorted coldly. “I’m sorry you feel that way. But, I had my choice this wasn‘t it. Nothing can stop this. Might as well go with the flow.” He shrugged slightly at this. “You always tried to get out of work by ‘going with the flow’. This isn’t how it’s going to work this time.” Misxion said sharply. “Isn’t it?” Seagle looked mildly amused at this. “Just like od times it almost seems worth coming back.” “This time when you die, please stay that way.” Misxion drew his blade. “Hmph. Fine. I’ll fight you if you really want to. But, be warned I won’t be allowed to hold back.” He swung the immense slab of stone out in front of him quicker than lightning. “Nor will I be able to show mercy. They’ve made sure of that.” “Fair enough.” Misxion flipped his blade into the air. “Then I will not be able to show mercy either.” “Too bad I couldn’t stop this before like I planned.” Seagle sighed regretfully. “I guess I wasn’t as smart as I thought.” “Well, I’m ending it now. Do you object?” He caught it in his right hand and held it bared. “No. Not at all.” Seagle refocused his gaze and gripped his blade tighter. They both rushed forwards and clashed together. Seagle smiled when he saw the thin whip of a blade holding his own monstrosity at bay. They continued to duel for several minutes. Neither could get an advantage. Seagle’s armor was simply too thick for Misxion to penetrate and he didn’t have the sheer strength necessary to continue matching blades with Seagle. The parted and both stopped to analyze their opponent. “You know this blade was made by the greatest smith in history?” Misxion said suddenly holding his blade up to the light. “Yes.” Seagle replied. “I know that blade anywhere. The only known blade of it’s kind that could stand up to Stone Soul.” “It’s called Epitome, because it was his finest work.” Misxion continued to admire his blade. “However, he had one other sword that rivaled this in craftsmanship.” “Truly?” Seagle said, intrigued. “I knew of no other forge that could be so great.” “It is called Culmination. His final sword. It included everything he’d ever accomplished. He combined it all to make the perfect sword.” Misxion continued. “Why does Epitome surpass it then?” Seagle asked his interest piqued. “If it truly included all of his technique and experience then it should be his greatest art.” “That is due to the fact that the artist died before the final holy forge was completed. Only the shadow forge exist today.” Misxion said regretfully. “Why are you telling me this?” Seagle finally asked. “I don’t need history where I’ll be.” “So that you know, I have the two greatest blades in history.” Misxion pulled another sheathe from the air and drew the blade it housed. “They are not so flimsy as to break at your own.” “I’ll call you on that.” They both brandished their blades and prepared to attack. “Please do.” Misxion and Seagle closed with these words in mind. The clashes became more furious. Misxion abandoned trying to match Seagle’s strength, instead he retreated and advanced according to how Seagle attacked and defended. Seagle kept on swinging his blade about in wild almost frenzied strikes. He couldn‘t lay a blade on his opponent. Neither could outmatch the other. Their skills were perfect to negate each other. Seagle’s strength and armor against Misxion’s speed and skill. When they came to a realization of this impasse they once again parted to reevaluate themselves. “You know, my power is neither light nor dark.” Misxion began, much in the same as with his blades. “It is instead a combined form of both. They negate each other and come to nothing. Some would like to call this ‘twilight’. However, I call that a lie. What is twilight but light through darkness and darkness shrouding light? They are still separate, still different. Still both at odds and coexisting. It is only when you reach interface and total neutrality. That you yourself are as such. Nothing.” “Where are you going with this?” Seagle said cocking his head to one side. “If you haven’t light or darkness how can you have both?” “Power is dependant on difference.” Misxion replied. “I have both it is difference that remains ut of reach.” “True enough.” Seagle admitted as he straightened himself up. “This is why I fight the way I do. I can’t create a difference with light or darkness. They are both my power but I can alter neither.” Misxion explained. “You have nothing?” Seagle inquired. “Or do you have everything?” “However, this indifferent power of mine is still existent.” Misxion continued without regarding Seagle. “How so?” Seagle raised a weary eyebrow. “First, it can negate difference caused by a light or dark wielder. Second, it can neutralize potential difference before it‘s created. Finally, it can create areas of neutral difference. Anywhere, in anything, in anyone.” Misxion closed his eyes. “Let us see what you really are.” Misxion opened his eyes there was a small pulse not enough to see, not enough to feel, but it was there. Seagle smiled thankfully. The same smile from back then. “Thanks. I never wanted to live like this.” Seagle began to become more and more pale. Eventually he began to dissolve as if he was made of tiny grains of sand. “This is my last stop.” “No one would.” Misxion replied. “Hu- Have faith in him.” He gasped with his final breath. A supernatural wind began to carry away all of his features all of what made him. Lost to the wind. “What do you--?” When Misxion opened his mouth to speak and tasted the wind. He stopped, thinking. “It’s salty.” “Darkness eternal.” Nox spoke to himself at barely more than a whisper. “That’s what I have to stop, here and now. Not much further now.” “Finished already?” Luc’s voice still echoed through his mind. “What?! You can‘t, it‘s not right.“ As did Sora’s. “This isn’t having a good effect on me.” Nox scowled and trudged on. As he reached the crest of the a hill he felt the cold rotten wind pass his lungs. “Like the sea.” “I win.” “Why?” “Two hundred paces.” Nox muttered to himself. “You are a good fellow.” “There‘s gotta be a better way!” “Hu- sorry.” “I‘m sorry too.” Nox sighed trying to shake them from his mind. “Talking to yourself?” Nox turned to face the speaker. No one was there. “Who are you?” Nox asked in spite of this. “I’m you, or rather the old you.” The voice replied. “Heartless.” Nox said distastefully as he recognized the speaker. “Oh you recognize me? I’m honestly flattered.” Nox turned again. This time he saw the speaker. It looked nothing like him. A Heartless with it’s head covered in growths of dark tendrils stood before him. It had a hole in it’s chest and it stood even taller than him by nearly a foot. It’s entire black form was draped with more tendrils. Only one thing would suggest a relationship between them. It had the same eyes as him. “So you’re going to stop me?” Nox asked wearily. “For the will of--” The beast was surely smiling by now. “Shut up. I know that they think they’re gods.” Nox snapped. “They’re closer than you or I.” The beast shrugged. Every tendril twitching and tingling hideously. “Don’t talk like that. They’re mindless idiots who put their lives into some crazy religion.” “Maybe, but if it means we take our place as the rulers of all…” The beast chuckled. “Then the means don’t matter. First Gorge, now Seagle. Why?” “They’re powers were useful.” “But I assume that they didn’t count on this?” Nox shifted his weight slightly. “No they waited for this and planned for it and--” It said joyfully. “That’s enough. I know what you’re getting at. Now, will you be able to kill me?” Nox raised an eyebrow and stared. “Of course. I know every facet of you.” “Maybe. Maybe not.” Nox gave that same look. “Mind games don’t work on me boy.” “Since when did a Heartless get the right to talk to me like that?” “You? Always.” The beast stated condescendingly. “Well, then I defy your gods.” Nox brought to hand his black whip. “Now come at me and prove your faith is the right one.” “Blasphemy.” It boomed. “Heartless have a concept of blasphemy?” Nox raised his eyebrow again. “I’m through with this and now you’re dead.” It began to mold the shadows about it’s hands. “I know you’re scared. Because you know the answers.” Nox stretched his weapon between his hands. “I’ll call you on that.” The beast began to charge him. “Wouldn’t have it any other way. Heartless.” “Maybe I should’ve asked for help. No, that was right. I can’t depend on them. This is my part.” Sophie stood before the ruins of a castle. It sat precariously on a cliff in between realms. “Let this work… Please.” “Seagle. May you rest in peace.” Misxion drove Stone Soul into the ground where the last remainders of Seagle lay. “May this next grand adventure serve you well.” Misxion looked about the grand stonework and gilded decorations about the room and especially the detailing on the throne. “This is no throne room…” “It’s a temple. And your tomb.” A figure walked out behind him. “Yes. Are, you should no have pursued me. Not in your condition.” She ignored him and continued. “You’ve done well to get this far. However, I’m not sure why you feel you need to do this.” She began to pace around him towards the grand throne. “It is because you are wrong. No more, no less.” Misxion followed her motions and cut her off. “So you’re just that self righteous?” She answered sourly. “Apparently so.” Misxion replied coolly. “I’d rather not deal with you now.” She complained. “You cannot defeat me. Your Seagle is gone.” Misxion said tonelessly. “He was a puppet. His usefulness ended and we let him go.” She smiled. “All the pieces are falling into place.” “So, you wanted nothing but his power?” Misxion tightened his grip on his blade. “And when was it over?” “Yes.” She smiled again. “When you got here.” “What of him now?” Misxion dropped his eyes. “I don’t know but I really don’t care all he ever did was incite mutiny. He served us better as a tool than a subordinate.” She laughed. “You people are sick.” Misxion said, his tone dangerously low. “It’s every one else who’s sick.” She contradicted playfully. “I’ve tried being kind to you people, hoping that you would save yourselves. Hoping that you’d change. Hoping that you could be forgiven. But, you don’t speak that language, do you?” “Not for a day.” She grinned. “Then listen to this!” “I should’ve helped her out. I know we’ve had our problems but in the end we’re comrades. I was stupid. It’s not the mission. It’s protecting what you care about. What do I care about?” Coixu stopped abruptly. He stood on the rooftop of a house in Twilight Town. “Everything. As long as we live, we‘re dedicated to making sure everyone else lives. That‘s what we used to say, back then.” “Hmph. You really should consider cleaning up after yourself.” A man in a lack and grey trench coat with a plain white shirt and black pants appeared. “Senior partner number one. Sceleus. You’re here to stop me. Before I can reach the final door.” He turned to see him. He was a thin framed man about the same height as Coixu. His bloodshot amber eyes and silver hair only added to his distinguished appearance. “Yes.” He answered shortly. Stepped forward with his booted feet clicking against the shingles. “You’re referring to Blake, no?” Coixu stood perfectly still. “He only got the job because we couldn’t risk leaving a seat open too long.” “Thought so. All your best died in the wars.” “Except for you.” Sceleus lifted his black gloved hand as if to offer help. “I’m not one of you. I led the uprising.” Coixu shook his head. “I was hoping we could bypass that. It’s the future we need to shape. The past has been dealt with.” Sceleus was speaking very civillyin comparison to his subordinates. “I don’t want any part of your future.” “You know it’s futile to work against us.” “It was futile to work for you.” “You won’t change?” Sceleus withdrew is offering hand. “Never again.” Coixu shifted his feet apart ready to fight. “I’ll kill you then.” Sceleus replied gravely. “By all means try.” Coixu inclined his head ever so slightly. “Begin.” Sceleus smirked and brought his ebony gloved hand directly above him as if beckoning the darkness to his grasp. The skies clouded over and a storm began to rage. Suddenly the mass of luminous black rocketed from his outstretched palm and blasted to sky. Every level of space was permeated by the shockwaves and everything went black. Perfectly black and still. “Just like that place.” The roof they’d stood upon had been replaced by a huge slab of unending stone. “I can see you.” Coixu launched himself forwards. His hand closed on leathery cloth. “Not bad, you still retained the shadow room training.” Sceleus grinned greedily. “Let’s see if I can take that spirit.” “Wouldn’t‘ve survived without it.” Coixu pushed off. “But, let’s see if I can crush that ego of yours.” “Wouldn’t have it any other way.” They closed again. Watching would be like some manner of intricate dance. They shifted back and forth “dancing” in perfect harmony. Neither laid a single blow on the other. They would grasp at each other and swing themselves about trapping each others limbs one moment then escaping the next instant. They parted shortly. “You’re amazing.” Coixu commented. “I ought to be after a thousand years.” Replied his wizened adversary. “No kidding.” Coixu sighed. “Never again.” “You.” Riku had finally tracked him down. The man that would lead him to Sora. “Yeah, what about me.” He replied his hand drifting towards his blade. “Shyusuke.” Riku glared viciously. “How’d ya know?” Shyusuke turned to look at Riku. “Nox didn’t tell you to come after me did he?” “Nox wouldn’t let me see his face after what he’s done.” Riku growled. “He went through with it?” Shyusuke laughed nearly dropping his guard. “Tell me--” Riku snarled. “Not telling you anything, little man.” Shyusuke let his laughter die down before he whipped out his blade. He leveled it’s edge parallel to the ground. “Then I’ll beat it out of you.” Riku leapt forward Soul Eater bared in his hand. “You can try.” His eyes widened and his lips turned up into an insane grin. “Too late.” His voice echoed through the realm of shadows. “Not yet. Not now, Xin.” Nox licked his bloody lips then smiled. “So you acknowledge my name now?” Xin said with a hint of pride. “Had to if you could do this to me. But, what‘s up with that anyways?” Nox heaved in, short ragged breaths. “Like I said. It’s over.” Xin taunted. “Like I said not yet.” Nox heaved himself to his feet. His body wavered but his will remained. “It will be in about thirty seconds though.” “What are you talking about?” Xin replied condescendingly. “This.” Nox disappeared for only a moment, but it was enough to slow down Xin. He reappeared exactly where he was before and struck down Xin. He ran past the stunned Heartless and reached the ‘lock‘. “Now or never.” It was a small circular depression atop a raised pedestal. Soras’ heart was released into it. Nox watched as the doors closed, never to open again. “Mission complete.” “You’ll die either way.” Xin roared. “My life’s value is finished. But, now I can fight you full strength.” He brandished both whips and smiled menacingly. “You’re bluffing. You need to protect the lock.” Xin spoke calmly and evenly. He was sure of himself. “It needs no protecting.” Nox chuckled giddily. “Liar.” Xin retorted angrily at his counterpart. “See me?” Nox asked with an eyebrow raised in a comedic fashion. “And raise you another.” Xin charged forwards. “Never gamble--” Nox began his own wild charge. “With fate.” They shouted in unison. “I feel heavy. Can’t be much longer.” It's the next chapter. Well that's it. CnC?
I don't get it. Can you explain this in a more detailed manner for me?
Right. I'm wrong there. Good nuff. I apologize as sincerely as you'll believe me able to. Well I just wanted to know what you thought. Like I said it's a non-issue in itself it's more that someone would feel like I was doing something wrong by saying that. What can I say it's boring here. Know what I've decided to leave for a while.
Not whinging. Asking a legitimate question. So answer it legitimately or leave me to my own devices.
think that's fair? I don't care I'd rather have no rep at all but negative is fine. Whatever. I'm just filling space and wasting time.
Yeah, that is my fault. I never admitted otherwise.
What do you mean smart?
