View attachment 49837 Ayame had reached her breaking point with Faust and his puns, having to deal with that mouse thing as well, and decided it was time to beat the lesson into him, literally. Ignis walked up to Faust, put her hands on his shoulder, then squatted down and uppercut him on the chin, sending him flying and crashing into the ceiling, indenting the ice, and letting him fall back the the ground. She looked up at him coldly as he fell, "How's that for a cold response?"
View attachment 49835 Ignis could feel the corners of her mouth drop lower and lower at the moment of Faust's pun. She seriously doubted that did anything, but just to get a head start on the creep that was likely going to survive being buried in ice, she walked over and bonked Faust on the head. "That pun of yours hurt more than that pile of ice you dropped on him. And I'm betting you it didn't help any."
View attachment 49834 As soon as the weird ink-mouse made that growl sound to her, Ignis got goosebumps all around her body. Most of the time she didn't care if someone tried to get her attention in whatever form, but coming from a weird ink-mouse hybrid that didn't even sound normal, and its personality, Ignis just couldn't help but want to squash it like a bug. The only issue was that after her last attack did nothing, and magic didn't seem to do much better, she was at a loss as to how to deal with this creep. She called her keyblade back from the ink-mouse, and wondered if they weren't out of their league. The annoying thing was that this seemed a lot like what they dealt with back in The Wasteland, but those things were easy to deal with, this guy almost seemed like he didn't have a real shape for them to hit; then the idea hit her, just as the castle's chandelier was about to hit him. Turning her head to Elsa, she began to wonder. "Hey, do you think you could freeze a specific area? Maybe like where that creep is standing? If he could become a giant chunk of ice, maybe we could do something."
View attachment 49829 Ignis wasn't sure if she knew this mouse in front of them or not, but she certainly remembered dealing with a giant hoard of ink things back in The Wasteland, and this mouse reminded her a fair amount of that experience. She wasn't even sure if there should rightly be a living ink-mouse outside of a book, but she didn't really care. The guy, or thing, or whatever pronoun was proper to use, was irritating. Plus, the whole idea about using people just pissed Ignis off, especially with this creep's personality. "Well, I don't think I know you, but you've already gotten on my irritating side." She brought out her keyblade and pulled her arm back. "And also, I don't appreciate to be used either. It brings up bad memories." She hurled the keyblade at the mouse, attempting to make her point clear.
Soon enough another keyhole had appeared and this time it was Faust who closed this one. He seemed slightly confused on it at first, but it didn't matter to much. Ignis simply watched and waited then went outside the castle to wait. There wasn't much left to do here, though they needed to figure out how they were going to get to the next world. As the thought crossed her mind, she looked around to see if there was any sort of clear sign on how they were going to get out of there. "So, uh," she turned around and looked at the group and the two girls, "anyone have a clue on how we get out of here? I don't think that boat we came in on went to more than a single place."
Ignis had to hold herself back from getting extremely sarcastic and cynical in her response. At first all she could do was just slowly leer at Faust for his response, and then took in a deep breathe. "Yeah, sure, we'll call it 'dull'. After all, it's so boring fighting for your life and dealing with a sociopath who wants to rule everything because of his ginormous ego. " As she finished she began to walk away. As she got close to Faust she gave him a cold, dead stare and went right through him, knocking him in the shoulder and shoving right past him. She was at the boiling point now and just let loose a punch on the wall of the castle, bruising her hand but also leaving a fairly large crack in the ice and an indentation of her fist.
Ignis debated on how to react to Faust's question, wondering if she should either answer with a serious question in a joking tone, or just nonchalant. Though given that guy had his own keyblade, she really couldn't imagine him not going through something exciting in his own life. She folded her arms and pondered for a minute, then looked over to Faust. "That depends on how you want to look at it. This whole adventure is normally a one-time thing for most people, but the whole thing has been exciting. Though I personally wouldn't mind this kind of excitement over the kind I was dealing with back home." She mumbled the last bit, though perhaps not as much as she should have.
As soon as the fight was over, Ignis put her keyblade away. She wasn't really sure how she felt about the ending to this though. The guy who was trying to kill them a minute ago just vanished as if there wasn't anything wrong with it. She'd had plenty of people who got away from her before, but it was usually because she was the one sparring them, not because they were able to just up and go. It left a bad taste in her mouth, like they were being played with. On the other hand, at least she could take out her frustration on someone she knew was decently close. "Well, if we're all done here, can we get back to the castle?" She motioned her hands toward the door and in the direction of town. "There's a certain something I want to say to a certain someone."

View attachment 49819 As the group was discussing their current problem, a new one came through the door of the castle. This new problem consisted of a man completely covered in black ninja clothes and a dog that followed beside him. Ignis didn't even know where to begin with the guy's dress code, but than she wondered if she was one to talk considering her choice of wear in this weather. It didn't matter either way, because the man made it pretty clear that he was after Elsa, drawing his sword on them and threatening them. Faust commented on how Ignis seemed to enjoy these sorts of moments more, and Ignis simply got up from her sitting position and stretched her legs some. "Well, I won't deny that I enjoy a good fight," She brought her keyblade out and readied herself, "but wouldn't anyone when the choice is between a good brawl or a sit-down with someone who won't even bother listening to others?"
View attachment 49817 Ignis thought about Faust's question on what they were going to do. She personally didn't really have any clue on what was to be done with the current situation. Plus, she was annoyed enough already from Elsa that she couldn't even be bothered to mess with Faust and his lames puns right now. Soon as she heard it she simply glared at him slightly then turned her head. She looked out the ice windows to the snowy mountain top, where the blizzard itself had seemed to stop, and showed a mountainside completely and utterly covered in white. "Well, the people here certainly have a different view on magic, that's for sure." She stretched her arms a little and her back, while still sitting down and figuring out what they were going to do. "The problem we have here is that Elsa doesn't seem to fully accept her position. Look at it this way, she ran from that party in fear and this whole weather issue began, right? Almost like the magic had gone out of control. Yet when we get up here, there's this castle, which is quite remarkably made, and I don't give a crap for design. But looking at the way she made this castle, it looks like she actually used it more to her own liking. But if you look outside it's still cold and snowy." Ignis began to ponder on what that specifically meant. "My old man once said that our strength comes from emotions, whether we will it or not, and it's form is a reflection of that emotion. When he got angry, his magic was a lot more terrifying than when he was in control. What concerns me is that you've got what seems to be something that looks to be in control, but outside, it's still out of control. I'm guessing there's something that bugging our dear old Elsa and she won't admit it to herself, and until she does so, we won't be able to do anything."
View attachment 49809 Faust had come closer to ask Ignis a question about what the "Princesses of Heart" were and how it affected their current situation and Ignis simply let out a dull sigh. Not really for the fact that Faust didn't know what was going on, but it was more than she cared to explain, partly for the fact that Ignis didn't care too much about it herself. She thought for a moment on how she would word it to get the point across to Faust without turning it into a giant lecture. "Well you see, basically the "Princess of Heart" are a group of people who are giant goody-two-shoes that don't have darkness in them at all, and are important for whatever reason." Ignis waved her hand the air as she answer the next part of the question. "As for how that effects the current winter situation, it has nothing to do with it. And why Elsa thinks it does just goes to show how clueless she is about her magic." Ignis took a seat on a step at the bottom of the stairs, and got comfortable. She figured they were going to have to convince Elsa to stop her magic one way or another, but it was going to be a pain to get it through her head.
View attachment 49808 Soon enough Elsa had come down from her hiding place and she and Anna had what could barely be called a chat. From the sound of it Elsa seemed pretty determined to stay here. Anna didn't seemed to appreciate it that much either. Than there was some weird rhyme that Elsa had said that came out of nowhere and it sounded to Ignis like Elsa wasn't planning on going back. Ignis simply sighed and turned around. "Well, it sounds like our dear queen has made up her mind to keep running instead of facing her problems. I'm fine and all for helping this place out, but it doesn't do much good if the one who has the problem chooses to ignore it." She began to walk down the stairs to the bottom. "The most you did was build yourself a nice ice prison."
View attachment 49803 Ignis thought about the question posed by Fuast and wondered how to respond. At first she felt like slapping him on the head for the pun, but it wasn't really the time. They had to find Elsa at some point, and punishing Faust for bad jokes wasn't going to move things along any faster. "Well, if she gets cold feet, she'll still have to through this door to get out, so we just make it difficult for her to leave. And since we have her sister tagging along with us, I doubt she'll just shoot ice at us. And if she really does run, we'll just chase after her. It's not like we've got anything better to do at the moment." Ignis walked toward the stairs and began walking up them to see what was on the second floor.
View attachment 49802 Faust had suggested that Ignis's yelling wasn't doing much to help, and she just wanted to slap him silly. No kidding it wasn't going to do much, but considering there wasn't exactly a lot of places to be, it wasn't going to hurt to try. "If she didn't want to be found, she should have made this castle a little more inconspicuous." She shrugged her arms and then crossed them. "Besides, it's not like there's a lot of places to go. Way I see it, we either wait at the front door for when she gets bored and decides to go somewhere, or we go up the one path in this whole place. At the very least she'll know we're here instead of surprising her being five feet from her."
