Dark trails continued to rise from the Darkside and just as it was disappearing a stream of Shadows flew forth from its body as it vanished, the Demon Tower that they formed spiraled in towards Tinarah and engulfed her. The girl was clawed at from all directions before the Demon Tide spat the girl out and circled around the arena. It was too weak to even repeat its desperate attack it had hit her with earlier and launched off what was probably its last volley of dark orbs at the girl, striking her once more. Both Boreas and Illiana managed to evade the Darkside's attacks at it tried to hit them with its fists. In its frantic attacks Torrin found himself the victim of one such attack and was struck instead of Illiana though he seemed to recover quickly in response, looking slightly annoyed. Illiana struck a brick wall as she was flung back, causing it to crumble on top of her. The Darkside leaned back and began charge a dark energy in the heart-shaped hole in its chest. "Give you a hand? What?" Torrin felt a strange pull when Boreas activated his D-Link and shrugged the odd sensation off. "Ah...glad to be rid of those Shadows though." Torrin spoke as he tapped a finger from his right hand on his keyblade causing it glow with magic energy as two enchantments were placed on it. Torrin rolled forward, avoiding an attack from the Darkside as it swung its arm and then jumped into the air while cloaked in darkness. Torrin vanished for an instant then reappeared behind the Darkside's head as he lunged forward through the air to stab the large Heartless. Torrin cast Saberza and used Dodge Roll, Aspir Fencer, and Chaos Blade.
Castur raised an eyebrow at Ananta when she tried to show how Faust should have done his landing and shrugged. "Helpful but I just...land. You get used to it." He muttered mostly to himself. Though sticking landings and getting creative about them was much easier back when he had full control over the element of space. Manipulating gravity was more fun than he imagined it would be. Castur stepped forward and rolled his shoulders back to stretch out a little before the coming battle. "Now where's Rourke? It's about time we ripped him a new one." 4/30

When the group of four entered the room their surroundings shifted to that of Eventide Town, looking ruined as half of its buildings were torn down and those that were still standing were crumbling. The sky that materialized over them was black and a Darkside appeared from a large pool of darkness that formed in front of them. Aria, Chrono, Enzo, and Kal were surrounded by a hundred Shadows that materialized instantly around them. So based on that preview, the beginning of the song sounds great. The second half though, not so much. It's not awful but it's definitely not as good as Simple and Clean, Sanctuary, or even Oath.
I'm glad God of War won the Game of the Year. It definitely deserved it. Though I'm a little disappointed Spider-Man didn't win anything.
