"Realistic..." Nny said to no one before deciding it might be fun to poke at the students, see what would happen. Nny walked up to a random group of students, took a fork and began eating off of one of their plates. "This is very good, mind if I take this?" Nny then took the whole plate away from the student, waiting to see what he would do next...
Nny looked back at Allen and then turned back towards the rest of the academy "Phantom! SHOW YOURSELF!!!" yelled Nny. He was testing two things, whether the Black Phantom would respond or not and how the people around them would react to his screaming.
Nny ignored Allen and walked around the academy. It was good to see it again, but Nny realized how fake it was. Nny saw the familiar faces of students he passed by everyday. He never knew a day would come when all these familiar faces would die in a single attack. He looked at the food they were eating. It was the same type of slop they used to serve at the academy. Indeed, every detail was there. But what was the true purpose behind showing them this?
Nny gave Allen a dirty look for a couple of seconds before saying "I'm not holding your hand." Nny then nonchalantly walked through the front door.
"Obviously you didn't hear it when it explained the first time Allen. It isn't actually a child, it's called the Black Phantom. It possessed that little girl. It acts childish, but the games are much more inhumane than any normal child would play." explained Nny "Aside from it possessing that child and whoever that other guy was, we know nothing about it." Nny and Allen walked up to the entrance of the tower "Well, here we go. Get ready Allen. We are going to be facing the worst once we enter through..."
"Her games revolve around torturing us psychologically. Unless you know more about her than you let on, then I think she has the advantage." Nny sighed "But you are right, we do have a better chance fighting together. But, odds are we won't fight her until she breaks us first." Nny continued to walk. He walked somewhat slowly. moving quick enough to see things pass by within minutes but slow enough that he could enjoy what he figured would be his final moments.
"She..." Nny paused "... It isn't interested in fighting us. It only wants to play games... It is evil, for sure, but it is just like a child." Nny looked at Allen. He could see the honest attempt the boy wanted to make at getting better. But Nny just didn't see the point... "It's too much for the both of us. It's just too powerful. When it said that it wasn't even trying with that blast, it wasn't bluffing! I could tell. Regardless of whether or not we play the game, the outcome is going to be the same. Except if we play, we might get lucky and it might be generous." Nny began to walk towards the tower "Regardless of you, I'm going. There's no more time for talk... it's waiting."
Nny walked over to Allen. "Well..." Nny looked at the lit up tower and knew that's where it wanted them to go. Of course there was nothing better to do, so they only had one choice: move forward. Without even turning his gaze away from the tower, Nny said to Allen "We move on." Nny then began walking towards the tower.
Nny was shocked by the power this one girl had managed to put out. He squinted as he tried to see her through the brightness of the explosion. Nny then waited for the explosion to dissipate before responding. As soon as it was possible to see around him, Nny looked at the Phantom and simply stared it in the eye's before responding "We aren't here to be your toys. We are here to learn something... although I think it's obvious what we've learned. The consumers aren't the real threat to this world, you are!"
Nny turned around to face her but he kept his gaurd up "Oh? And what would lead you to be so merciful on us?" asked Nny, truly curious as to whether this was a bluff to get them to drop their weapons so she could kill them, or if it was the truth and they would be spared.
Nny didn't say a word. He got up, drew his sword, walked over next to Allen and got ready for the inevitable fight. Nny then put his hand on Allen's shoulder "Allen, we need to work together on this one. Undoubtedly they will be working together to keep us separated. If we stick together we might last long enough to get out of this."
Nny coughed away, struggling to get whatever was left of the black smoke out of him. When Nny stopped, he wiped his mouth getting rid of all the Silvia that he had spit up. He then looked at the girl. Undoubtedly she was pure concentrated evil. But how did she end up that way? Nny wondered. Regardless, the fight was about to begin soon and Nny was unsure with how he would fare against such evil.
Nny looked at the cloaked girl and tried to focus through all the pain. The illusion was real enough, he would simply have to power through it. Nny knew that to let himself be broken in spirit would to be broken in terms of fighting. He looked at the girl, she was clearly trying to make him lose before the fight even started. Nny just had to continue to endure... no matter how hard it was... He had endured once before, he knew he could do it again...
Nny smiled... the smile slowly grew larger and larger with each passing moment until he burst out into laughter. He sat there laughing for about a minute before finally responding to the voice "Me? Pathetic? Says the voice in the shadows... If you know so much about me then why don't you prove it by beating me in battle?!"
Nny didn't smile, didn't frown. He just had an empty expression on his face as he looked at the images that passed by him. "Just get to the point." said Nny to the voice "Your parents never told you not to play with your food, did they?"
"Both." Nny simply said as he walked into the corridor, knowing what might happen, but having to take the chance anyway. He walked down the corridor silently, waiting for it to end or for some clue to be given as to where he would go next.
"Clearly this is some kind of game to you. Very well, I will play." said Nny as he walked towards the tower. Clearly it was an illusion, but Nny had no means of breaking through it and knew this. He simply had to play along and hope that he could break free when the time was right. Nny arrived at the tower and looked up and down it before yelling out "What now?"
Nny heard the voice but ignored it. Clearly it was a trick. Soon the trick became too real for Nny and he could not see in front of him. Nny turned to Allen "Allen, prepare yourself." Nny could feel the presence getting closer. Clearly the girl Father had talked about had come sooner than expected.
"Very well." said Nny ready to face any trap that might await him in the city as he walked casually in. Nny didn't wait up for the others, instead wanting to go off on his own. "No, you will be fine." Dr. Traken then pulled out a syringe from his coat and a vial from another part and sucked the liquid from the vial into the syringe. "Now, this will only hurt for a second but it will get rid of all your pain, and it might have a slight drowsy side effect. So feel free to sleep if you want to." The doctor injected her before wrapping up her wounds with gauze and other materials.
Nny looked at the man suspiciously "What do you mean? What's stopping you from going any farther?" asked Nny. He looked at the old man intently, he wasn't going to just be thrown into some trap by this guy.
