So...the new Civil War preview. ...Looks good? *MUFFLED CRYING IN THE DISTANCE.*
I am the hugest nerd.
Okay, having seen Age of Ultron in it's entirety... I have some issues and some things I like. Spoiler 1. The Natasha and Bruce ship. People can ship whatever they want. That's not the issue here. What is the issue is that it feels horribly forced. Like it's being shoved down our throats that this is a thing that's happening. Also, there's so many issues regarding the whole 'sterilization = can't have babies = monster' thing. There's just so many issues with it. If there had been like some kind of explanation I wouldn't mind so much. Like Natasha and Bruce did some field work and got to know each other. Not just 'Deep down he's all fluff and he's a huge dork'. 2. Pietro's death + Whedon's saying he's staying that way. Where do I begin? I am calling so much bullshit on this one. His twin sister is the freaking Scarlet Witch who might as well have 'bringing people back from the dead' as a super power since she's done it so many times in the comics. (Mostly to Hawkeye.) I'm kind of hoping that whoever takes over from Whedon completely disregards that. ( And the actor has signed onto do more films besides. ) 3. The pace of the movie. Overall, it just kind of feels... wonky. Like some parts are great but other parts are just... not. I don't know if it's because the actors were just tired or there were behind the scenes issues. 4. The lack of the end of credits scene which is practically a MCU trademark by now. What I did like. 1. The whole Barton farm thing. I liked Clint having kids and a wife. It kind of added to his character and gave him depth. 2. Ultron. I really don't have much beef with him. James Spader delivered beyond expectations. And the robot had the booty. 3. Seeing the secondary characters. War Machine, Falcon. The little allusion to Bucky was nice too. 4. I kind of like how Tony's behavior in this movie leads into Civil War. And the reference to Wakanda was nice.
1. Impressions: Then versus Now 2. Age of Ultron!Pietro or Days of Future Past!Pietro Peter? 3. Guilty pleasure in life? 4. When is a door not a door?

Either I get her a new stripper pole or a new slap button.
Same. Sometimes I can get the autofill to work and sometimes not. And apparently tumblr has captchas now.
No tumblr. I do not want to register for a new account. I want to sign into an account that already exists. Get your act together. So bored.
I saw it when I saw Aaron Taylor-Johnson in that three sizes too small shirt.
... So I've seen part of Age of Ultron. The whole Natasha and Bruce thing seems really forced. Tony is displaying behavior that leads up to Civil War which is nice. James Spader is brilliant as Ultron. And Pietro is a thing in my head again. jfc he hasn't been a thing since Wolverine and the X-men.
Sun Prairie, WI had to get a replacement groundhog this year. The one last year bit the mayor's ear. Though I think I'd be a little cantankerous too if some loon yanked me out of my home and held me up for the world to see. The new groundhog spent the 'ceremony' in his cage.
I played Gen1 of Pokemon. It wasn't anything really spectacular and I used to take it to give me something to do between classes at college. I never really did 100% of it. There might be some nostalgia attached to it and I can admit that. I've watched other people play the other games. Which honestly I like better than playing the games myself. I think it's more the commentary than the actual game. And Dratini's still one of my favorites. In other news, we're(i'm based in central Wisconsin) supposed to get a good amount of snow on Tuesday. They, (the weather channel), predicts in excess of 6 inches with blowing and drifting.

Hi. And there are some dreams I wish I could forget. Like the one where I had a nightmare that I was lying in bed looking at my ceiling. And then my bed starts shaking. I can't move. And then I see this...thing at the foot of my bed. It looks like it's on fire save for these black eyes and a smile with too many teeth. I want to scream because I know my parents are in the next room. But I can't. It's like the words are stuck in my throat. Once it reaches for me, I wake up and usually don't go back to sleep the rest of the night. My dreams are in vivid hd detail and in color.
So I was going to start working on the short Eden-centric drabbles and maybe set up a Q&A thing sometime this weekend, but I have a soul draining cold. I don't really have the energy or the where with all to do anything creative wise. And it sucks.
But I love games where your choices have an overall affect on the plot.
I can't watch Until Dawn playthroughs after it gets dark because I am a weenie with an overactive imagination.
I've been trying to not let things affect me so much. I can't make everyone happy and I'm not going to stress myself over trying to. Trying to focus on the positive things and not so much the negative. I suppose you could call it a belated resolution even if I said I don't make those. I'm also trying to eat a bit healthier. I've lost ten pounds just by not eating after 7pm and not snacking so much. If I do want a snack, i get a bowl and put it in the bowl rather than taking the bag/box/etc.
I have two little guys at work that ask me about comic books and dinosaurs. comics!kid came in the other day wearing a Spiderman apron with his grandma to buy cookie stuff. Grandmother says that he's a Captain America fan but couldn't find fabric to make a Captain America Apron. So I smile and say: 'Well, as it is, Spiderman's a big fan of Cap too. And he was an Avenger just like Cap. And Spiderman's pretty cool on his own.' dinosaur!kid asks me to say dinosaur names for him. So he'll either bring in a book or a toy and say: 'which one is this?' And I was so into dinosaurs when I was little so I know all the names.
