"Just stop crying and calm down," Larxene said, half-reassuringly, as she continued to pat the moogle's head. Blonde hair and blue eyes...Demyx maybe? Or Or perhaps...Vexen...that would be quite fitting, in fact. "What did he do to you?" she asked, almost plesantly, trying to figure out who Fluffy had met earlier. But that would explain as to why Fluffy had left Zexion's room, standing outside instead...someone - or something - must've scared him.

Hearing the door slam shut, with the bolts fastening, Zexion blinked, turnnig his head to see that Larxene had actually closed the door, shutting him in. The darkness weighed heavily, and he just stood there for a moment, waiting for his vision to adjust to the low lumosity. As he did, he couldn't help but chuckle, shaking his head. Larxene was always full of surprises, and now, she was attempting to lock him in. Like that was going to work. However, he might as well grab Luxord and send him back to...somewhere, while he was there. However, realizing there was only a faint 'scent', he noticed that the kid had actually managed to escape - or Larxene had moved him...either way, he was gone...a familiar trace somewhere in the hallways...

Clever, he thought, a smile quirking the corners of his mouth. Raising his hand, he opened a portal of darkness, warping himself in front of Luxord's 'scent'. Sure enough, there was the tiny kid, scampering about like a squirrel. Of course, the Cloaked Schemer could not tell if this was truly Luxord...aside from the 'scent' he hoped was the Gambler.

"Luxord?" he asked, tentatively, tilting his head to the side, eyeing him cautiously. The kid could actually be someone other, and he was just being tricked by Larxene, pretending to have had him captive earlier. Although it didn't seem likely...then again, the Savage Nymph was always appearing innocuous, but her actions proved otherwise.

When Xigbar walked up to Demyx, Larxene tilted her head up, looking at him, as she rolled her eyes. What was she, the wallpaper? "Hello to you too, Xigbar," she said, half-testily, half-playfully. She never talked much with the Free-shooter so she was pretty much nonchalant about it all. "So anyway," she said, beginning to walk past them. "I guess I'll leave you two boys to talking...although I wouldn't say one was very young at all." She glanced at Xigbar as she said this, a teasing smile quirking the corners of her mouth.

Larxene glanced at Xangel disdainfully before turning to gaze back down at the moogles...in which Fluffy instantly ran towards her, crying and embracing her leg as if it was a teddy bear. As for the 'boogy man' it was moaning about...she had no idea what on earth it was talking about. Gazing over at the other moogle, and then back to Xangel, she sent her a withering stare, before looking back down at Fluffy.
"What are you talking about...?" she asked, crouching, patting his tiny head almost reluctantly. Glancing over her shoulder into the room, where Zexion was laying unconscious, she really wanted to at least step out, in case he awoke...or Vexen decided to have another surprise visit.

    Aww, thanks. *gives ice cream*

    Oh, and sure! ^^

By the way, everyone, what flower do you think represents fraility and beauty? I can't think of what...orchids represent exoticness, roses are beauty but coldness underlying it, and the word 'carnation' is too long for what I'm planning to use it for. xD

Appearing in his room, Larxene quickly scanned her surroundings, searching for the moogle. She was planning on getting in, grabbing it, and then getting out. However, the creature was nowhere to be seen - only Zexion, crumpled on the floor, almost lifeless. Was he really unconscious?
Tentatively, she began to walk towards him, saying, "Zexion...?"
Hearing no response, she bent down, reaching forward with her hand to touch his shoulder, shaking it slightly. He did not react once more, seeming almost like he was just a doll. Sighing, she brought her arms around him, lifting him into her arms. Standing, she brought him onto his bed, positioning his head upon his pillow.
"Now you can't say I owe you one anymore," she muttered to him, regarding the time he had assisted her in helping her legs to move again, although he could not hear it she was certain.
Gazing at him, she watched as his chest rose and lowered steadily, as his breathing began to even out. A sure sign that he would become better in no time. After all, they were only surface wounds - except for the one on his wrist.
But now that she had finished moving him off the floor...where was the moogle? It didn't run off did it? Hopefully it just went outside?
Turning, she strode over to the door, grasping the cold handle and pulling it as silently as she could. With the door open, she raised an eyebrow, surprised to find Xangel next to Fluffy...and yet another moogle there.

Kai watched, her eyes wide with amazement and surprise as Keira summoned her staff, seeming delighted and excited from the spectular appearance. In response to her question, she bobbed her head up and down eagerly, all previous worries gone from her mind. Remembering she was still holding the container within her hand, however, she turned, crouching, placing the jar back into the box she had withdrawn it from. Turning back around, she faced Keira, staring at her intently, waiting.

OOC: By the way, Random Angel, everyone's basically at school (I think) while Keira and Kai are in the forest by the park, in a cave.

  12. Nymph of Destiny
Larxene for a moment stood there, reflecting over what Zexion had just done earlier. After having the pleasure of being able to play with him, he actually pushed her to continue, claiming he wanted to keep her satisfied...and here, he was always saying that being a Nobody, they couldn't feel anything, whether it be satifisfaction...or happiness...he was being a hyprocrite, it appeared...and then he had gone and kissed her, declaring that was all he wanted from his countenance to her entertainment. And it wasn't like any of the other quick, forced other times, when he had pressed his lips briefly against hers with reluctance and disdain. But this time, his body movement, the way he presented himself...it was so entirely different that she was stunned and hadn't even attempted to slash at him like before.
Composing herself, she exhaled slowly, moving a stray strand of her blonde hair behind her right ear. Surprising her own self, she didn't 'feel'...upset, like she was going to start raging into his room to assault him again. Rather, there was a mixture of tentativeness, confusion...
"You may...inflict as much pain on me as you want after this...and I won't stop you..."
Remembering his words, she couldn't help but wonder...what went on in the Cloaked Schemer's head. He sounded so sincere...like he wasn't even planning a thing...but was he? She really didn't know...she just didn't know anymore. Ever since Axel's death she wasn't sure of anything.
Recalling the firey crimson-haired Nobody, she couldn't help but wonder about what he would want for her. For one thing, she knew he wouldn't want her to throw away her life so recklessly, like she half-attempted to previously at the enemy's headquarters...but with Zexion...
No, no... she thought, shaking her head, chiding herself mentally. I mean, Zexion has something planned, more than likely...I can't be falling for anything...not that I am...
Feeling almost unconvinced, she tried to think of another matter - a subject which hit her mind instantly. Fluffy. Where on earth was that moogle? She told it she would be there soon...so, as much as she wanted to leave it alone, she could not stand the thought of a moogle running amock, messing everything up. She would have to retrieve it. But where was it again?
But of course, Zexion's room. Ah, the irony. After having spoken with him, she would have to go over to his room to get the tiny creature. And the Cloaked Schemer was most likely there, recuperating. She had no desire to really see him again, but she didn't want that moogle to be by itself...
What a hassle this thing is causing, she thought, sighing, as she turned, slowly raising her hand, hovering it in mid-air. Biting her lower lip, she hesitated for a moment before opening the portal of darkness, leading to the Cloaked Schemer's room. Stepping through, the dark wisps engulfed her, as she disappeared from sight.

Appearing in his room, Zexion had collapsed onto the floor, coughing, his throat feeling thick with his own blood. It was difficult, keeping up such a cool composure, as he had spoken with Larxene and then stabbed at his own self. In fact, it was even harder to lift the weapon into his own body, purposefully inflicting agony to himself. And now, here he was, lying on the floor, a bloody mess, some of his cloak tattered, crimson fluid running down him. His mind was swirling, his vision feeling blurry and disoriented. The 'scents' he could smell ever so robust about the area was now mixing, and he winced, unable to concentrate.
Heh...I still can't believe...what I was doing... That was the last thought he had before the last of his consciousness slipped away.

  14. Nymph of Destiny
OOC: Wow, this is the longest conversation/post I had ever written between two characters. xDD If no one wants to read it all, just ask me for the summary of it. lol

Zexion hesitated for a moment, trying to think of exactly what it was before it finally clicked. So that's what she was so...'upset' about? She was certainly never one to let things go...especially when she could have some fun with it...so what else was she going to do? Just cause him pain and that's it? It sure appeared like it. Well, if that's all she wanted, he could bear with it.
"Alright," he said, looking up at her, his expression and voice devoid of emotion. "Go ahead. Do your worst."

Larxene tilted her head to the side, eyeing the Cloaked Schemer warily. Why was he allowing her to do this to him? At the very most, she expected him to just warp away, or by some other means stop her. He even had a higher number than her, being number VI, and he could always use that against her. What was he planning now?
"Oh really?" she remarked, fingering the shard within her hand. "And why exactly?"

"You wish to retaliate," Zexion answered, "as a sort of just retribution. I will allow you to do what you feel is justice. If this is to entertain yourself as well, I will still not hinder you. Do what you wish."
The Cloaked Schemer wasn't quite sure what he was saying. He knew the Savage Nymph was capable of cruel measures, ranging from gouging his eyes out to severing one of his limbs. And she would not care one bit. No, she'd laugh about it all. Then what on earth was he saying?

Raising the shard, Larxene ran it under the side of Zexion's face, reaching his chin. She watched complacently as he tensed, a small blood trail running down from his wound. "Be careful what you wish for," she remarked, a small smirk passing over her lips. "You might get more than you bargined for..."
Stabbing the fragment into his shoulder, she let electricity run from her fingertips across his body. Quickly, she shoved him forward, making him fall back against the wall, his head knocking against the back of it roughly. Summoning the kunai to her hands, she headed straight over to him, slashing her weapon across his chest. She gave a small chuckle, as his body recoiled ever so slightly, gasping in pain.
Stabbing a kunai into the injury he just received, she leaned forward, demanding in a low tone of voice, "So what are you planning Zexion? What are you planning?"

What on earth am I getting myself into? the thought continually repeated itself inside Zexion's mind. His body was being wracked with pain, and he wasn't even trying to hold back his sound of agony...here he was, just standing there, tolerating it, not doing a thing. Yet, he couldn't bring himself to move, at all...
"What...do you...mean?" he asked, breathing hard.

"Oh really?" she said, unconvinced, as she dug her weapon deeper into his wound. "Then what were you aiming for? I don't think you'd use your illusions...just for nothing." Electricity flowed straight across her hand into him, making him quiver, as his head knocked back against the wall once more. "What were you trying to discover? Was it merely an experiment? Or something else?"

Struggling to catch hold of his breath, he could feel blood, threatening to emerge from his throat. Swallowing, he answered, trying to keep his voice from straight, "Ax...el...I was trying...to find out...your relationship with him...whether you had truly...deluded yourself...into thinking..." Feeling another spurt of electricity flow through him, he promptly bit on his tongue, keeping himself from screaming out from the fresh wave of pain that burned through him like hot iron. "In...to...into...thinking that...you could feel...love..."

Larxene frowned, tilting her head to the side slightly. "Is that so?" she said, coldly. Jerking out the kunai she had embedded into his injury, she watched with pleasure as a carmine river flowed steadily from it, as if it had been suppressed and she had pulled the plug on it. However still, Zexion continued to clench his hands into his fists, silent as ever, merely his labored breathing as his reaction. Why wouldn't he just scream? How long would it take to break him? Well, she'd find out soon enough. "So I assume you were able to find the answer you were looking for?" she asked, as she dismissed her weapon.

"Y...yes..." Zexion answered, his eyes slowly beginning to close. "But...it is different...than what I expected...and from what...you're surely expecting...but what it is...I will not say..."
Feeling her hand grasp his left wrist, he stiffened, prepared for the next dose of torture she would most certainly bring him. Sure enough, her slim, gloved fingers twisted it, swiftly, fiercely, electricty circling it. Pain shot through it like a needle, as he bit down once more on his tongue, keeping himself from making a noise.

And still the Cloaked Schemer was so infuriatingly silent. Why would he just not make a noise? Releasing him, she shoved him to the side, causing him to collapse on the ground in a bloody lump.
"I'm done with you," Larxene said, sounding disgusted, upset. "Feel fortunate that I decided to let you go quicker than I wanted."

"Than...you wanted?" Zexion repeated, pressing his palms against the floor as he struggled to stand. "Then...why not...continue? Go for as long...as you wish...until you're satisfied..." Slowly, he got to his feet, breathing as hard as ever. "Like I said...do...your...worst..."
Perhaps... he thought, wistfully, perhaps I can use this to my advantage...

"I don't know whether you're enjoying all this pain," Larxene said, crossing her arms, "or you have something up your sleeve. There is no reason for you to endure this, especially now that I've released you. Why not just hurry back to your room before you faint in front of me, hmm?"
She was complacent at seeing his frail status at the moment, but she wasn't blind. There was obviously something suspicious about this all, and she wasn't going to just walk into it.

"What could I possibly gain from this?" Zexion remarked, chuckling dryly as he shook his head. "Look...you want to cause me...even more pain...as retaliation...correct? If you do not want to...I'll do it...for you..."
He raised his hand, summoning the illusion of a kunai to his right hand. Grasping it tightly, his hand shook slightly as he brought it close to his chest. Hesitating for a moment, he then brought it down, tearing through his cloth into his skin. Hissing slightly in pain, he glanced upwards momentarily at the Savage Nymph, before withdrawing the weapon and bringing it down again on the same area. He could hear a few drops of his blood splatter on the floor, almost like rain, and he was sure Larxene could as well.

Almost holding her breath, Larxene had watched, almost uncertain as to what he was doing when he had brought a kunai to his hand. When he brought it down on himself, she widened her eyes, shocked at what he was doing. Why on earth was he trying to hurt himself? He couldn't possibly believe he deserved it...or did he? What on earth was he planning...?
Briskly walking over to him, she grabbed his hand, stopping him - almost 'regretfully' - from stabbing himself once more. "Enough," she ordered, firmly. "Zexion...I don't know what's gotten into you...but this isn't normal. Not to mention, I said that I was letting you go...so leave."

"Not until...you're...satisfied..." he murmured, his body swaying slightly from his loss of blood. He glanced up at her, his grip on the weapon weak. Zexion could feel his fingers twitch but he quickly refrained the impulse. All for my plan... he swiftly reminded himself. Can't...risk it...

"Oh, I am," Larxene said, unable to stop herself from half-smiling. "I really just want to let you keep on wounding yourself...but I'm not. I'm more than happy at having been able to play with you long enough. But the game's over. So just warp back to your room where you don't need to do anything else for me...unless you're enjoying this." She raised an eyebrow. "Unless of course you're assuming that by allowing me to harm you...I owe you one...because trust me, I wouldn't count that as a favor."

"I only want...one thing in return for this...one small thing," Zexion said, keeping eye contact with her, watching as she stared at him, confused yet alert, as she nodded for him to continue. "You may...inflict as much pain on me as you want after this...and I won't stop you..." he said, his voice low, as he leaned close to her, continuing to hold their gaze, as if to see if she was completely fine with this compensation.
Slowly, the Savage Nymph nodded, still eyeing him warily, as her mouth opened to voice a question that never finished. The moment after she had acquiesced, he brought his lips onto hers, his eyes shut closed, as he awaited her reaction, most likely one of an attack. Yet, she did not move...in fact, she seemed still, frozen in her position, utterly shocked apparently.
Almost reluctantly, he broke off their kiss, moving back as he opened his eyes to look at her face. There was an expression of surprise mixed with confusion, although her fingers shook slightly, as if she was trying to figure out what action she wanted to take.
Giving her a half-smile, darkness circled around him as he disappeared, finally warping straight back to his room like she had wanted him to do previously.

"Kai has arrows," she answered, gesturing with her right hand at the bow tied around her back. "Kai uses them only for playtime though. Twing Twang. Otherwise, Kai does not use arrows." She tilted her head to the side, curiously. "What does Keira have?"
Shifting, she sat on the ground, curling her legs to the side. "Oh, Keira can sit anywhere Keira wants."

Yaten sighed, pacing the floor. Thoughts ran around her mind as she tried to contemplate several matters...Ed's words continued to repeat itself. "Maybe...maybe I should leave Yumiko alone...but...what would I do then...?"
Hearing the sound of something spraying, she turned her head to see Exel, working on the wall. "Oh, hey..." she greeted, remembering seeing him. "What are you doing exactly...?"

OOC: Ah, I almost lost my post! Phew...did anyone else have trouble getting on the site a little earlier or is it just me? xD

Roxas might have tampered with the machine? That sounded a bit incredulous to Larxene, knowing that Axel was his best friend and he would never want to harm him...but Zexion did point out that it was an accident - not to mention a small possibility, but still...why would Roxas even think of touching the machine? The only thing she could think of the boy doing was pressing his hands to the glass and peering through...unless when he was trying to attack Zexion, he stepped on a wire or something, or slashed at the wrong component. However, she wasn't really sure, not having been there when it happened. Either way, she wasn't going to start blaming Roxas for anything - not without more concrete evidence. For now, the most plausible reason seemed to be that Vexen's machine simply failed. And why Zexion felt the need to tell her again that there was no chance for Axel's survivor, she wasn't sure, but she supposed Vexen had told him about when she made a wistful remark about the Flurry of Dancing Flames possibly surviving.
Focusing back to the Cloaked Schemer's question, Larxene said, "What I was doing in your room? Well...I just wanted to...give you something..." She hesitated for a moment, waiting to see his reaction.

"Give me something?" he repeated, raising an eyebrow. "What is it...?"
The only thing that the Savage Nymph had given him so far was a splash of wine, for a reason he still couldn't quite figure out. Was she 'upset' at him? Or just bored and decided to use him as her toy for the moment? The latter seemed quite possible, since she often grew restless and wanted to cause suffering for others. However, that would mean that whatever had happened during her stay in the enemies' headquarters cheered her up from her dour slump she was in earlier. In fact, her movement, the way she walked, the way she spoke, they all had that spark and bounce like usual, all trace of 'sadness' and 'anger' gone. Her mind seemed quite clear again, and she seemed to be...planning something almost. Nothing large, but something that would amount to pain or discomfort for someone - either himself, or some other victim she wanted.

"Close your eyes?" Larxene asked, a sweet smile on her lips. "Don't worry," she added, noticing Zexion's suspicious glance, "I'm not going to hurt you...I don't bite..."
She gave a small giggle, watching amusedly as the Cloaked Schemer hesitated, obviously contemplating her possibly underlaying motives, what she was intending to do, and other mysteries within his mind. At last, he relented, slowly nodding, as he began to close his eyes, his body quickly growing tense and alert. How so very predictable he was, and how so very monotone.
Sauntering towards him, she stood in front of him, silent for a moment, just staring at him. Her smile widened as she could see his fingers twitch slightly, a sign that he was feeling unnerved and impatient, yet he was silent. Most likely still trying to listen to her sounds, trying to figure out her next move. If he was going to be so perceptive, then she was going to have to move fast.
Swiftly, Larxene brought her finger around the top of the glass she had been holding, tightening her grasp until it shattered. A few of the shards had scratched at the surface of her gloved palm, which now had a trace of stickiness from the few droplets residing at the bottom of the glass, but she ignored this, taking hold of a single fragment. Raising it, she quickly brought it across the side of Zexion's face.

Having heard the sound of glass shattering, Zexion quickly opened his eyes to find Larxene's hand coming towards him, a sharp piece within her fingers. Taking a step back, he was not fast enough, the glass cutting across sideways on his right cheek. Biting back a sound of pain, he narrowed his eyes, staring at the Savage Nymph piercingly. "Is there a particular reason for your actions today?" he asked, sharply, as he wiped the trickle of blood from his face with the back of his hand. Pain was still coursing through his wound, robust and stinging.

Larxene chuckled, pleased at the sound of the glass cutting across his skin, like tearing paper, and watching the crimson liquid leak from it, the sight of his blatant discomfort entertaining. The slight scent of wine tainted the air, from the stickiness on Zexion's skin and from her right hand. Twirling the glass fragment she held ever so slightly, the Cloaked Schemer's blood dripping from the very edge of it, she answered, still smiling, "Tell me Zexion...do you remember what you had done to me, moments before Axel's...death?"

    OOC: Go win Axel! XD

And uh...Choco...go ask the leader (Xaydn I think?) for an idea of what to do there? xD Sorry, I really don't know...

With the moogle disappearing into the portal, Zexion waited for a couple of minutes before summoning the illusion of Larxene in his room, standing besides where Fluffy was, according to its 'scent'. This done, he turned back to the Savage Nymph, saying, "Now then, Larxene...what was it that you wanted of me?" He crossed his arms. "I don't assume you were waiting just to simply splash your drink onto me."

Mentioning that, Larxene realized she still had the empty glass, grasped within her right hand. Chuckling, she said, "I'd tell you...but I want you to tell me something first...what was Vexen and you speaking about?"
She wasn't sure if Zexion was going to tell her, especially since the reason she was there wasn't all that important. What was particularly vital was that the Chilly Academic obviously knew something about Axel...but he wasn't telling.

"It's nothing much..." Zexion said, looking directly at the Savage Nymph, making sure to have eye contact with her. "Just...Axel...there doesn't seem to be any possibility that he survived...but there's a chance that..." He paused, looking away hesitantly. "Well...you don't need to know..."

"What is it?" Larxene asked, frowning impatiently. "What sort of chance is there?"
She wasn't sure if the Cloaked Schemer was playing with her mind, as his speciality was, but then, what good would come of it? Axel's dead, simply faded away...perhaps that was what he wanted, maybe not...but either way...what would he gain from it? Then again, Zexion always seemed to be scheming something...

"It's nothing," he persisted, glancing back up at her. "But now that I've told you..."

"Not the whole thing is it?" Larxene said, exasperated. "Look, even if you tell me, what can I do about it?" She was still quite suspicious of the Cloaked Schemer's motives, and really just wanted to ask Vexen...but the Chilly Academic was more defensive than Zexion. She'd learn better through Zexon...at least, she hoped so...but anything involving Axel...she longed to know...

"True..." Zexion said, slowly, although he looked a bit unconvinced. "But..." He heaved a sigh, leaning close to whisper. "There's a chance Roxas might have accidentally tampered with the machine." He moved back, crossing his arms. "Don't be telling anyone though...and don't forget...this is only a possibility, it may not be..." He glanced away from her. "Now...tell me why you were waiting for me."
