If I had known I wouldn't of watched it on VHS yesterday.
I also watched Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

Damn those hippies that mean well but go too far.
This movie didn't make me want to plant any seeds or anything. Its message is made clear. You either have the mindset to agree with it or not. People poisoned by it I think would have been poisoned by something else eventually if they didn't watch it.

The real question is: "Why do people store files on their computer omg?" This whole problem with transferring files could have been avoided if your friend used the cloud. Local storage is so outdated. Web 2.0 FTW.

Rereading this, I guess you can say the same thing about Titanic. Not a horribly unique plot, but it's made mesmerizing by the setting.

I saw Avatar on its opening day with no expectations and found it exhilarating. Its invented new world, Pandora, was the best part about it. I guess the reason why so many people responded to it is because it's simply great sensational entertainment.

I have pretty much the same rationale when it comes to eating meat, but I can't actually be 100% sure being a vegetarian is actually good, but it can't possibly be bad, right? I'm more of a skeptical environmentalist. Anyways I became a vegetarian 3 years ago on a whim, but I don't think I'll ever be going back. Giving up meat was easy for me because I didn't have much of a desire to eat it in the first place. When people ask me why I'm a vegetarian I respond, "Why not?" But if I really wanted to make a commitment to save the planet with meals I should become a vegan (which I might someday/unlikely).

I consider myself lucky that I saw the movie Food, Inc. (available on Netflix Instant) after I became a vegetarian. I much rather prefer that someone became a vegetarian on their own accord other than being scared into it (the movie tells facts and shows sights that are hard to ignore). Still, I think it's a good, informative film, that after the average person sees would have a really hard time continuing rationalizing eating meat (other than reasons of their own benefit [nothing wrong with that]).

My vegetarianism is not important to me the same way eating meat is not important to me. So a definite "why not?" response is appropriate.

Who needs complicated and character-defining origin stories when you can just get straight to the action?!
