did not realize a new one is out. i love bloc party but for me they have yet to top silent alarm. their albums after it were good (i really like intimacy still) and i like that they played with their sound but silent alarm was just fantastic was disappointed by four, i'll check out the new one at some point
the sheer ridiculousness and nonsensical plot to facilitate it is what I love about the fast & furious films. critically, they're awful. but they're goddamn fun to watch. tokyo drift didn't really have the absurdity of the other movies nor the likeable characters and I was just generally bored through it (whereas the other films keep me entertained for the full runtime) they're dumb movies and i'm certainly not in a position to judge anyone for liking tokyo drift lol. all good if you enjoy it
I watched the fast & the furious and 2 fast 2 furious a lot as a child and I think it had an adverse effect on my driving as an adult I didn't see any of the others until recently (holy **** tokyo drift was bad I mean I was warned but jesus), but I have yet to watch furious 7. I don't feel emotionally ready
my mom never really gave a **** abt what I do but I always had one line prepared just in case she complained "at least I don't smoke crystal meth"

I love the second cover plate of these. Reminds me of the sticker sheet that came with the official Pokémon handbook back in the day. This is actually really fantastic news. I was looking to rewatch some of the movies recently but discovered that they're not available to stream anywhere (even if you're willing to pay for the individual movie, not just on a subscription service) and that physical copies are sometimes crazy expensive. Eventually I just downloaded a rip of Mewtwo Strikes Back from when Cartoon Network aired it but I'd rather watch a proper version (not a TV rip, no little banner ads, no fadeouts for commercials). Plus it didn't have the short from the beginning of the film.
