I would say yes it is, because there's people who will accept hetero and homosexuals but shame bisexuals. Actually there's a lot of that.... its sad. Basically a general rule to go by is people can be offended by the existence of anybody or anything and act discriminatory to said thing.
Yeah, there's some fancy two part title for what I guess I identify as but I really don't give a crap about it anymore, everyone should just do what they want and stop having hissy fits about it. Radial cheerleading basically takes traditional cheerleading and flips it on its ass. It's a form of activism seen at rallys and marches where you make easy repeatable cheers that crowds can pick up on and join in with, while conveying an actual message. A group favourite was Hey hey! Ho ho! ___phobia's got to go! With the phobia part being swapped in with homo, trans, bi, etc. Yeah, a ton to straight people come and enjoy the festivities too, I mean as long as nobody is an ******* (on either side) they're welcomed. Its all about support and pride in who you are ad if you're straight that's not something you can just up and change so we all just are cool with eachother. To be fair there's the dumb shits on both sides who dislike each other over something so damn trivial. I've seen straight shaming before and it's just jawdroppingly stupid.
It's LGBTQA stuff. The major event is the Pride Parade but the week leading up to it has a lot of fun festivities... some more or less kid friendly. I've gone to a BBQ, did Radical Cheerleading at a rally with the PPY group, and today I'll be going to a documentary with two of my friends. There's a all ages dry dance coming up and a coffehouse open mic night for spoken word I'd sort of like to go to, but those are both just a maybe right now. I guess most people just call it gay pride but it really encompasses everyone, so yeah.
Drawing, gaming, watching RT video podcasts. Some irl stuff with Pride week, ppy, and a local fandom group. I make it sound like a lot but really I'm pretty lazy...
Whoops. Been away for a bit again; been doing a lot of things while really doing nothing at all. I'm not really the best at conversation.
Wearing a coat for the rain? Isn't it nicer just to feel it? I don't really know what places or jobs right now, just something in the area. I'm trying really hard not to think about it because I used to get panic attacks just two months ago when I thought of trying to work places. It's a bit better but still really stressful. My friend understands what sort of things I can't do and will make me freak out so we're going to just walk around and discuss what I could do. All I know is I think I'm applying at Petland cause I volunteered there before and they like me. It's sort of far though so other places more in walking distance would be preferred.
@Burnitup Ah, that sounds interesting. I just cried at a friend about life and she offered to help set me in the right direction so that's actually really great of her. We're going out today for me to apply for jobs in the area. I'm sort of scared. uwu I actually really like this time of year. It snowed a week ago but now it's summer hot without all the bugs (◡‿◡✿) @Kev What are you studying right now/plan to be studying? Not being a social recluse is hard... Just remember to start small and work your way up.
Conversations are best started naturally without prompt, otherwise they're quick to die. As for how I am, recently I've been pretty good. These past few days have been really busy and I feel like maybe I'm finally becoming a properly functioning member of society instead of a nervous wreck of a shut in. It's nice, and I'd really like if I could keep this up. I also don't think I ever really asked, aside from kicking around here what's been going on with you guys? It's been a few years since we really talked, what's happened in your lives? It's almost hard to imagine, relatively speaking it hasn't been that long but it feels like a whole different lifetime to me.
Sorry, there's just not a lot to say. I check in regularly but there's not too much of a conversation going on.
If burnitup gets to post videos so do I. Officially celebrating Monday 00:16 06/05/13
Yeah, represent yo. Honestly though, school is just stressful.
Eww finals. I'll just be over here not being in school.
There's a lot of reasons it's popular. It's relatable and funny are probably the biggest ones. I really disapprove of the tvTropes page.
Even if you like one person "more" it's can still be an overwhelming feeling and you can't just forget that the other person or people exist. What you prefer and reality can be vastly different things in more areas than just love. Feelings and emotions aren't things you can take lightly, juggling them and balancing them is a struggle humans face everyday, regardless of if we're in romantic relationships or not, and what dynamics those relationships hold. As a side note, though that quote holds some truth in that you should find people to surround yourself who you can care for a great deal for I feel it's not something that fully works in this context, as friendship is something different than romantic interests. It's also something that shouldn't be taken literally to the word. Single out those from the hundreds who to spend your time with yes, but you should surround yourself with those you are close to and build a network of people to care for and in turn rely on. If what works for you works for you then great, I just wish to point out various viewpoints to consider. There isn't always a clear cut line, and what you want isn't always balanced out by mind over matter. Every person's experiences are different.
Wow Homestuck has ruined me, I can't think of anything ending happily, especially romance. Everything just feels like it's going to be despair, probably death or hurt feelings like gushing wounds, and sadness. Fictionally I mean, with characters not live people. I should probably mention that.
I don't have much more to say but I did feel a need to add one more point to the discussion, and that is I find it interesting most people here seem to be strictly thinking a man with more than one wife when regarding this topic. Perhaps if the ball field was opened a bit more we'd move more away from the stigmas attached to polygamy? I know the stigmas themselves are interesting to discuss but I feel like we're unintentionally limiting what ways we can take this discussion. I'd also like to go a bit off to the side and mention that I appreciate Sforzato mentioning marrying for reasons other than love. Marriage is a contract that I never really approved of people doing out of love, because to me it appears like they need that marriage to validate that they are in fact in love with each other.
Odd that it's set to public but you still need an account. Ah well whatever. Also you think that's bad you should have seen the porn mags at the conbini. Plot is not a thing that is understood by anyone. Or ****ing natural boobs, if they look like two separate entities to the body that's just gross. Japan stahp.
Hmm, that's odd cause it's set to public...
Well while we wait for those to upload here are the scenery photos from Japan. I THINK this link should work? https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.311704252290299.1073741828.100003521793673&type=3
Alright. I'll get to uploading those... then I should actually get around to uploading everything else. Ughhhh... I got 4500~ pictures in 2 weeks. why this.
