Tokyo Rooftops: Shiki shot a harsh glare at Enerjak and spoke coldly, "You'll call me Il Re." His tone meant it was final, closed without discussion. Listening to him give a brief version of how he came to Tokyo, Shiki's thoughts drifted, 'Curse...? Not the same as my curse...' He came to a halt, setting his foot on the edge of the building and grabbed Enerjak by his collar so the boy wouldn't go running off again. "You're not from this world. That much I could tell from the moment I met you. You laugh too easily to be from this world." Shiki glared down at the street below him. The conversation was too heavy...to much. Shiki didn't feel like sharing or trying to process what the boy said when he still had no idea if Nicole was alive. The Line shipments kept coming...but he had no idea from where. The most he'd narrowed it down to was somewhere in Tokyo...but it was a large place... It wasn't Toshima...the city was bathed in blood the last time he'd set foot there....and no one had owned up to where Nicole was or where the Line came from. Gripping his katana tighter in his hand, Shiki glanced at the boy from the corner of his eye, "You said you weren't from this world... So no one here knows your face..." the rest of his words stuck in his throat. How foolish to involve a boy in a battle that would only end in blood soaked streets. "Tell me about your world. Is it like anyplace I'd know?" Obviously it wasn't...and Shiki knew that, but without any leads he was stuck talking to the Dog until he could figure something out. Tokyo Streets: Kabukicho District Kuro made a noncommital sound as she headed for Glitter. "I'm going to get some answers from that guy, whether he likes it or not. We're not going inside, you goof!" Still trailing behind, Akihiko frowned. There wasn't anything he could say to change her mind and he knew it. But the least he could do was make sure they were safe while they were there. Virus and Trip were dangerous people...they even made the Kirijo Group nervous. And Noiz had mentioned several times that he'd run into them before with his friends from the island. Kuro stopped across the street from Glitter. Virus and Trip were nowhere to be seen. "Dammit...where are they hiding?!" Gadd Science Boardroom: Lloyd watched, interested in KOS-MOS, avidly. Taking a few steps closer to her, he put a hand to his chin and leaned forwards to examine her body closely without touching her. Cecile nervously edged closer, but more towards Shion, "Lloyd, it's not safe to get so close." He waved her off with a laugh, "Don't worry, Cecile. I've noticed it's only one arm that changes. Hmm...I wonder if it's a limiter placed in her systems to inhibit the amount of physical power she can use at a time. If I could just..." Cecile clutched her tablet closer to her chest as Lloyd's fingers stopped an inch away from KOS-MOS' body before a new thought entered his head. "I wonder if creating her as a female and a human isn't your subconscious desire for children, Uzuki. After all...none of the Knightmares have human forms completely. They only resemble that because it makes it easier to link with a human pilot." Standing up straight, he shrugged. Cecile hardly relaxed, "Aren't you afraid? What if what Shion said was completely true and KOS-MOS did rampage the very second you touch her?" Lloyd seemed to find her questions amusing, along with her misplaced concern. "Why of course! I'm terrified every time Uzuki steps into the same room as I do. I gleefully await the day she punches me in the face and I can toss out my fears." Cecile hardly looked amused by his comment. Nintendo High front Gates: Thane Kryios, the drell assassin, stood patiently for Shepard to arrive. He was getting used to the layout of Tokyo...but the number of high buildings didn't make him feel any safer. Too many vantage points for the ex-assassin to feel comfortable walking down the streets during the daytime. Mianto Ward: Nihlus, a red turian with white face paint paced the limited space of a table he'd found to stand on and glared at the gathered human civilians below him. "You don't get it at all. The Geth were not the only ones there! Eden Prime was attacked by Saren! We were betrayed. And if the Council won't see it....then I'll do things my way. Justice will be carried out...Saren will pay for all those on Eden Prime with his very own life. An eye for an eye...a life for a life...that's the human's saying, isn't it?" Tokyo Streets: Kakashi was late and he knew it. He wouldn't be able to catch Jushiro if the elder teacher wasn't horribly ill all the time. He'd called him early this morning and set up a time to meet. Jushiro sounded like he didn't want to discuss Albedo at all. Kakashi's thoughts wandered. What could Albedo want with those children? As far as he knew and the kids knew...they held no special connection to him. Lost in his thoughts, Kakashi didn't hear the sound of a blade whizzing through the air until it embedded itself into the side of the building he'd been walking past. One onyx eye fixed on the blade and he recognized it immediately. Turning, he caught the sight of a grinning Izaya Orihara. "So...Shizuo was right... 99% of the time you are behind everything bad happening. Are you behind Albedo too?" "You wound me. Honestly, I think I might start crying..." "Cut the sarcasm, I don't have time for it. I want a straight answer, Izaya. Albedo...are you behind that?" "Of course not. I have better things to do than run around kidnapping children. It's just not my style." "The kidnapping no...but the rest is. You don't have to be involved directly...but I know you have a hand in it. Isn't it your hobby to nose your way into everyone's problems?" "Haha...now you sound like Shizu-chan. Such paranoia isn't good for you, Kakashi." Izaya turned on his heel and started to walk away before he spun around and tapped his chin, "Speaking of accusations. Have you heard? There's a rumor going around saying that the attack at Nintendo High wasn't just a freak accident. I guess people just don't believe the school is all that safe anymore. Maybe you'll lose students." Kakashi shut out his ramblings long enough for him to shut up and walk away with a backwards wave. Shibuya Building 109: Tekken backed away from the enemies, holding her guard up, "Fuuka-chan!" Fuuka focused harder, "I've got it! The enemy is weak against electricity. Use Zio skills. Oh...wait, you don't have the same abilities as we do." She gasped, "The enemy is charging! Be careful! Those flying ones will explode on contact. Shoot them down in the air." Tekken nodded and slammed her fist into a Giga T. Dogoo-S. "If only our leaders were here... I'm positive Minato-kun and Minako-chan would be able to help."

Tokyo Streets: Kuro folded her arms, watching Noiz walk away, "Perhaps... But maybe we should ask Vert or Belle about Seregaki Inc. before we do anything rash. First...you, Mr. Silver Hair." He laughed and gave her a wry smile, "Akihiko Sanada. I don't expect you to remember it, but try at least. I'm going to get tired of repeating it." Kuro chewed on her lip, "Sorry...Akihiko-san. What was that fight about?" Akihiko pulled off the black gloves covering his hands and tucked them in a back pocket, "Met him a few nights ago. Told me he was looking for someone to fight and test his game out. When I told him I was captain of the Boxing team, he got this funny look in his eye. It wasn't serious, so there's no need to worry. It might just be a guy thing. You know...test out our strength. He's good..." Kuro frowned and turned to Neptune, "Fighting in the middle of the street isn't a good thing. Especially carrying that gun around," he opened his mouth to protest but Kuro kept talking, "Neptune and I are touring the city...at least I am since I've never left Lastation before today." Akihiko stood by quietly until she stopped talking, "Well I'd steer clear of Kabukicho. There are several clubs there that are dangerous." Kuro hesitated for a moment. She turned towards him and fixed him with her ruby gaze, "What do you know about a club called Glitter?" Scratching the back of his head, Akihiko shifted from foot to foot, "Not much. I heard it's run by some group called Morphine. Old yakuza gang. But there isn't much information about the gang itself. Mitsuru....ah, one of my classmates, told me that this is the longest they've ever sat still enough to gain any sort of reputation. But they are famous for being ruthless and eradicating other gangs." Akihiko shrugged as if it was normal for people to die if they were in gangs. "I asked about the club not the people who run it." Surprised by the harsh tone in Kuro's voice, Akihiko's silver brows lifted, "Alright...the name came from a hotel that was part of a corporation called Platinum Jail that used to be founded by Toue Inc. The music and lights are specially made to trigger parts of the brain to release endorphin's to give the dream-like feeling. It's the only drug in the world that doesn't have a side effect, crash phase or after effect. The club was originally an unnamed building within Platinum Jail but after it was destroyed, Morphine came to Tokyo and rebuilt it." Kuro's gaze darkened, "And the people...specifically someone named Virus?" Matching Kuro's frightening gaze, Akihiko adopted his old posture he used when at a boxing meet. Arms folded over his chest and his weight tipped onto one leg, he spoke with authority, "Next to nothing. We don't even know his last name." Wrapping her hand around Neptune's wrist, Kuro dragged her sister down the street back towards Kabukicho district with Akihiko trailing behind, "Hey...where are you going? Hey!" Ignoring him, Kuro marched on. Unknown Location: "Actually, worse. Not good. Terrible. Listened to Tali's call. Concerned. Half of call was Tali...half voice of turian origin. Running voice recognition. Should have results in two minutes. Though place of call just outside window. Not familiar with Turian. Thought Shepard would recognize face. Sending JPEG. Civilian mental capacity not high enough for comprehension of speech. Turian heart rate accelerated. Brain waves uneven. Not good. Unhealthy." Mordin sucked in a breath and continued again after a short beep, "Ah...voice recognition finished. Nihlus Kryik. Hm, famous Turian Spectre. Supposedly pronounced dead on Eden Prime. Mission you were on. How survived shot to the back... Revived with Lazardus Project? No. Not important enough. Medical records indicate shot missed Turian heart. Punctured lung. Odd. Didn't think Saren was that bad of shot. Not good for reputation. Good for Turian...and Shepard." After a moment of clacking on keys, Shepard's phone beeped with the receiving of the JPEG of Nihlus' face and a tag of the location. "Insufficient information. Target appears to be suffering from sleep deprivation, post-traumatic stress. Possibility of insanity. Exercise extreme caution. Civilian aggression rising. Recommend swift action. Patched Tali's half of conversation. Minato Ward. Will meet you there. Would hate to see tragedy." With information given, Mordin ended the call. Shibuya 109 Building: "HIYAAAAA!" A girl with gray hair wearing a torn pair of flame pants and a tank top with matching red boxing gloves on her hands jumped from a catwalk on the second floor and collided with a group of Dogoo's on the ground. Hopping up, the girl bounced from foot to foot before striking another of the blue tanuki creatures. "Fuuka-chan!" She looked up to the catwalk she'd jumped from and a light teal haired girl leaned over the edge, worry in her brown eyes. "I'm alright, Tekken-chan. Oh...watch out!" The girl turned on her heel and smashed her fist through another Dogoo. The girl on the catwalk lifted a handgun to her head and pulled the trigger. Instead of blood and death, blue energy surrounded her and the shattering of glass sounded as a sphere of glass and a woman appeared with the teal haired girl inside the ball of glass. "I detect multiple enemies! I can't get an accurate number. They keep multiplying! Be careful, Tekken-chan! They're not very strong but their numbers are causing a problem. Ah...! Be careful of the one flying above you. It's shell is covered in spikes. It's strong against elemental spells. Please don't use them. Physical attacks also don't appear to work! Stay on your guard!" Tekken turned and spotted Compa and IF. Her red eyes widened but nerves kept her from saying hello. Fidgeting, she turned her face away from them and slammed one fist into the ground, creating a shockwave, sending several Dogoo's up into the air only to land on their heads. "Good job, Tekken-chan. The enemy is down!" "Fuuka-chan...tell me more about that one floating up there!" "U-um...Okay. Give me a second; I'll scan the enemy for more information." Gadd Science Boardroom: Lloyd openly marveled at KOS-MOS up and running. Ignoring the stern look from Cecile, he stood up and leaned forwards, his eyes scanning KOS-MOS' body. "Oh ho...so KOS-MOS has a human identification processing system. I see...that would be useful. But pitting that against the S-Types doesn't seem logical. I've read in your data that KOS-MOS can equip and re-equip several different weapons. We should have a demonstration!" He frowned for a moment, "It's too bad Warrant Officer Kururugi is on leave. It'd be good to see how the Lancelot does against such a small target. How are the defense systems?" Tokyo Rooftops: Shiki noted the boy increasing his pace and did the same, keeping in step with the boy. It was easy...but he wasn't going to expend any energy to make him quit with the odd statements about it being fun running across rooftops with him. "Enerjak..." he repeated and the corners of his mouth lifted slightly, "I think Dog will do you just fine." Taking a moment to hop over an air conditioning vent, he actually considered giving the boy his name. "My name is Il Re. That's I-L...R-E. Il Re. Why are you in this city?" Even to Shiki it was a dumb question but he was curious now. A human that could laugh in his presence that wasn't Nicole was simply odd. Though the longer he watched the boy move and through frequent glimpses of his eyes, Shiki didn't find what he'd seen in the last person who could stand near him and not panic. There was no stubbornness...no defiance. But the boy had no idea who he was...so it wasn't expected...yet.
Ow, I'm so hurt. You wound me, truly. Would you like some cheese with that whine?

Unknown Location: Tali picked up the phone...for a while all Shepard would hear was chatter before Tali's voice cut through the noise. "Shepard, I'm glad you called. Listen to this..." The chatter returned but with one voice more distinct and clear than the rest. "Your job is to protect everyone. This recent attack is not the only one. They will come again and it's time we met them head on. You think these attacks were just chance? Don't be foolish!" "We've got a real problem here Shepard. This stupid turian is messing with the civilian mindset. Though...he doesn't look good. I'm not too sure what an exhausted turian looks like but I'm pretty sure this is it." Tali's voice conflicted with the male voice before and turned into garble. "There is nothing.....Minato....will return....over here....He....Something....I can't...the turian...the Council........gibberish....don't believe... Stop pushing....people...suit....calm yourselves...back off!" The call cut off, leaving Shepard with a dial tone. But not for long. Almost as soon as Tali's call ended, another number popped up on Shepard's screen: Mordin Solus. Tokyo Streets: Spoiler Kuro shot her sister a flustered look, "I...I didn't do anything!" She glared at the two boys and set her hands on her hips, "Now tell me who you two are." The boys exchanged defeated expressions. The silver haired man spoke first as he picked up his jacket from the ground, "My name is Akihiko Sanada. I'm a third year at Nintendo High." Kuro pointed at the gun now holstered at his waist in front of his left hip, "And that gun?" He sighed, "It's not a gun. It's an Evoker. I use it to summon my Persona." Kuro huffed, not believing him, "And what on Earth is a Persona." Akihiko turned his face away, "That's a little harder to explain. It's like a--" his phone started to chime and before he could finish his sentence he glanced at the screen, frowning. Turning away from the girls, he picked up and lowered his voice. Kuro's gaze turned to the man in green, "And you?" he gave her a less than pleasant glare before he forced out one word, "Noiz." She frowned, "Noise? Is that your name?" "Yeah...but loose the 'se'.. It's Noiz with a 'z'. I'd rather not give you my surname...or any other information." Kuro jabbed an accusing finger into his chest, "Now listen to me buster..." "You're the Goddess of Lastation, CPU Black Heart or just Noire." She took a step back in surprise, "How did you know all that?" "I also know your birthday, height, weight, hobbies, personality flaws and the method in which you turn into that CPU form of yours. HDD isn't it called?" Kuro growled, "Are you a stalker...?" Noiz rolled his eyes and mumbled out, "Don't flatter yourself, princess. I'm the head of Seregaki Inc. ....I made a multi-million MMOF game even better and you want to accuse me of being a stalker?" Kuro tilted her head to the side. Seregaki Inc. didn't sound like something she knew about. "Seregaki Inc.?" "Yeah...the original name lost a lot of backing so I changed it when I took over. Tsk...why am I telling you this? Aki...I'm leaving." Akihiko turned slightly when Noiz spoke to him and nodded, watching his battle partner leave. [DOUBLEPOST=1375159078][/DOUBLEPOST]Tokyo Rooftops: Shiki, the man who'd chosen to observe the boy napping on the roof of a building, watched the boy run off after practically repeating his own question to him. Following after the boy, Shiki took a moment to assess him. He didn't have excessive rage....so there was no way he was on Line... Shiki nearly left right then. But he wanted to know what made this boy able to laugh in his presence. No one could do that...not even... Shaking away the memory, Shiki matched the boy's pace, not allowing himself to run faster or jump farther than the average human. Giving away his secrets so early would lead to a problematic situation. "What's your name boy? Or should I just call you 'Dog'?"

Unknown Location: Thane Krios frowned slightly into the phone, "I'm not worried, siha...I mean...Shepard. I've already told you I trust you. I'll take the job. Haven't gotten much work here on Earth. Seems like my skills just aren't as needed here. It must be because of your human nature to handle issues on your own. The diplomats here don't ask for assassins...they simply do it themselves...or end up arguing about it for hours." Leaning back in his chair, he crossed his legs, setting one foot on top of his knee,"We haven't heard from you for a while, siha. I was getting worried. You should give Tali a call. I'm sure she'd be pleased to have something to do other than worry constantly. Earth is...peaceful and we're not used to it yet." With his answer given, he waited for Shepard's response and hung up. It was true he hadn't quite settled into his new home on Earth...and the humid air of Tokyo was driving his illness up a wall. Gadd Science: Board room Lloyd simply lifted his hands as Shion ranted about his comment. "Inspirational words...coming from the second-rate scientist. As if I'd need your permission... I've already hacked your security system several times now...but since my own alterations to the float device aren't complete...I haven't been able to run any tests with KOS-MOS." He frowned, decisively angry and stood, "What's that supposed to mean?! Easily get killed if the back side was attacked or compromised?! That's ridiculous! The Lancelot is top grade. It's metal armor is impenetrable from either side, especially the back! Do you really think I'd allow an important piece of my invention be destroyed so easily? Not that I'd be worried if one of the pilots died...they are merely the tools that pilot the Knightmares. I can't run the Lancelot without Suzaku Kururugi. The Lancelot's weapons are made with specific metal alloys designed to be light and durable. You insult my invention if you believe anything I've created would be destroyed so easily by a few bullets or anything these S-Types can throw at me." He opened his mouth to say more when Cecile clamped a hand over his mouth, "I'm terribly sorry, Ms. Uzuki. Please forgive Lloyd. Professor...I'll set up a field test right away." Lloyd and Cecile listened closely to what the others said. Smiling, Lloyd folded his fingers together, "Sounds like my invention came at just the right time. Cecile...the field test will be sending the Knightmares down into the ocean to take care of our problem. Ready the Lancelot and radio Kururugi." Cecile hesitated and frowned, "Suzaku is on leave at the moment. The only pilot we have remaining at our direct disposal are the Knights of Round. Miss Alstreim is the only one we've been in direct contact with recently." Lloyd shrugged and waved her off to contact the pilot. Tokyo Building Rooftop: "Not bad...But can you do more?" "That's what I was going to ask." A male voice responded to a question the boy had asked himself. Deep, dark and seductive...the embodiment of something you didn't want to meet in a dark alley....or rooftop. A black haired man with deep red eyes wearing all black leather dropped down from a nearby building. The drop from roof to roof was nearly four stories high and yet the man landed without breaking a bone in his leg. He carried a long katana with him, that despite not being attached to his clothes in any way, didn't seem to stray very far out of his grip. Stepping out of the indent in the roof he'd made when he dropped down, he lifted his chin and looked down on the boy, "IS that all you can do?" His tone was curious but his body language was threatening. It seemed almost natural for him to stand like he was superior to everyone in every way. Spoiler Tokyo Street: Kuro walked, ignoring Neptune screaming for her to wait until she spotted something odd. A man wearing mostly green, a fuzzy winter hat and a belt covered in little cubed rabbits fighting a silver haired man wearing what looked like a school uniform and black gloves. "What the...? Hey, knock it off!" Although unsure why she was intervening, Kuro hurried towards them. Her ruby gaze caught on something metallic in the silver haired man's left hand as she approached. He lifted it and Kuro's eyes went wide. A handgun?! Why did a student have a handgun? Was he going to shoot the other man. But the man in green didn't look armed at all. A look of determination settled on the silver haired man's face as he lifted it to his own forehead. A suicide in the middle of the street?! Over a petty fight?! "No, wait...!" Without a moment's hesitation, he pulled the trigger... Kuro squeezed her eyes shut and waited. But instead of the telltale sound of a lifeless body falling to the ground, she heard a solid punch connecting with someone's face and then a fall. Peeking from under her lashes, she saw the man in green lying on the ground in front of her, wiping blood from his nose even as he smiled at the other man. Her gaze fixed on the silver haired man. He still held the gun in his hand but there was no blood...no bullet wound...no brains splattered over the pavement. Why wasn't he dead? "You're pretty good, I'll give you that. If I hadn't used my power I'm sure I'd have lost. My apologies...it wasn't fair for me to use my power when you haven't used yours." The silver haired man reached a hand out for his fallen combat partner and Kuro's mind simply quit on her. He knocked him flat on his back and he was apologizing? Men were strange. "You promised you wouldn't use that. There's no way I can stand one of those kinds of punches. Worthless..." the man in green muttered quietly before he clicked his tongue and spat blood on the ground, "You owe me a Rhyme match then. I'll make the modifications to the system and it should be good for your abilities." Finally the man in green noticed Kuro's presence, "Hm? Tsk...a passer-by. Hey, why don't you get outta here, girly." "Girly?! The hell?! What was that? I saw that guy shoot himself in the head. I must still be dreaming...dammit..." The silver haired man looked behind her at Neptune and sighed, "I don't mind explaining. It's not a gun...I didn't shoot myself in the head. Technically. It's called an Evoker. It just looks cooler this way...Mitsuru made it so don't look at me for why it looks like this. It allows me to summon my Persona." Kuro resisted the urge to smack both of them, "I don't follow you." Sighing, he stuffed the gun away and crossed his arms, "Look...I'm not good at explaining it. Just...take my word for it...I'm not dead, you're not dreaming and there's nothing going on here that involves you. So run along."

Location: Unknown The phone was ringing...odd...hardly anyone ever used the phone...especially to call this number. Telemarketers were impossible...the number was blocked to regular facilities and companies that had no business with the number's owner. Reaching for the phone, what was roughly called an alien, picked up the rather outdated touch-screen iphone. Large black eyes focused on the name accompanied with the number on the screen and a small wave of relief washed through his body. Clicking connect, he held it to his ear, "Siha...and what do I owe the pleasure of your call? Surely it's must be important." Gadd Science: Lloyd drummed his fingers on the table, "The attack seven years ago... Against the S-Types you mean? This is your weapon to combat them?" He gave KOS-MOS a slightly pained expression, "She's a bit too...what's the word...flimsy for heavy duty work like that. But I suppose she's not meant as a commando. I've studied her reaction time and looked at the cognitive process flow and it doesn't move all that quickly. Not as quickly as the response time as my Lancelot, but I didn't expect a second-rate scientist to be able to compare to military grade work." Giving a sly smile to Shion, he continued, "As I mentioned before...equipping her with an energy filler and a float device would give her an advantage, but it might be too much of a strain on her systems. Of course if I could run a detailed scan of--" "Ms. Uzuki specifically requested that none of the scientists were to tamper with KOS-MOS's systems. I fear you would do more harm than good." "More harm than good? If an upgrade is harmful I'd refrain from putting it in. I'm not about to break someone else's toy. After all...it's not tampering if I don't even get a chance to look at her properly." Lloyd cast Cecile a mournful look and opened up a laptop, temporarily taking over the screen displaying KOS-MOS. The picture altered with a few taps and displayed a detailed blueprint of a Knightmare frame. "This is the new Knightmare frame I've been working on. Ever since Yuuko told me about the odd S-Type her companion swallowed, I've been interested in trying to find where these creatures come from. I figured since we already have the MARK II to explore the sky and regular Knightmares for ground patrol... I've never really thought of equipping the Knightmares with an underwater theme. Generally we don't need to go underwater for combat...so I let it slide. But after hearing about the....um...Cecile, what was it they were called again?" Cecile snapped to attention, lifting a piece of paper on her clipboard, "Dubior-S and Water Galboros-S." Lloyd nodded, "That's right. Yuuko Ichihara...a woman of known stature, gave me plenty of intel on those two creatures. Regretfully, she didn't send me a sample so I could study it further...but the data was enough." "We theorized that if such beings could manipulate elements as those two did...the others must come from someplace where those elements are abundant. Of course...it didn't narrow our search. Which is why we've started taking precautionary measures," she looked down and frowned, "Though...no matter how many times I've urged Lloyd, he refuses to contact the military. I believe Brigadier General Madara Uchiha and those under his command would be useful in an all out war with these creatures." Lloyd shut his laptop before head of the JIA could stare too long at his plans, "Why involve the Brigadier General? It's not like involving the military will help the matter any. All they do is get in the way and destroy precious research samples. Not to mention everything I give them to play with."

CPU Residence: Spoiler Belle passed the tea to her twin and purposefully ignored her sisters. Worry about her task filled her mind. Staring down into her tea, Belle tried hard to imagine what kind of person this Watanuki Kimihiro was and what Yuuko wanted from her. Finishing her meal, Kuro stood, dropping her napkin on her plate. "I'm heading out. Tokyo's a big place and I want to get a jump on what's out there." Heading out the door, Kuro started walking away from the residential district. Orihara Building: Spoiler Mairu wiped the drool away and lifted a brown eyebrow at Ram, "What're you talking about? She's hot, use your eyes." Lulu patted Mairu's head, "It's fine...Ram is it? I've been working here long enough to know Mairu and Kururi well enough that their personalities don't bother me." Izaya smirked and Lulu briefly glared at him, "Go have your breakfast girls. There's a memorial later today and you girls should attend." Mairu shook her head, "No thanks. Dead people really don't interest me." Leaning away from the window, Izaya lightly tapped on his keyboard and clicked on a small folder. A wide grin spread across his lips and he snatched up one of his cellphones and picked up his jacket from his chair, "Now don't you ladies get lonely without me. Lulu, there are more files for you to compile into a binder. It was nice meeting you two," he smiled devilishly at Ram and Rom, "Nice to see you're just as boring as your sister." Closing the door behind him as he left, Izaya happily bounded down the stairs and out of his building. Lulu shook her head and Kururi returned from the kitchen with a number of plates filled with french toast. "Is he gone already? Izaya-nii sure does move quickly in the mornings." Both sisters nodded and spoke in unison, "A morning person and a night owl. What a nightmare." Uchiha Estate: Spoiler Mornings were never fun for Madara Uchiha. After waking up from a night filled with nightmares about his own death, his brothers' deaths and several other factors that made up his life, he stood in the shower for a good hour. He stared at his own ripple patterned Rinnegan eyes and for a milisecond...allowed himself to feel a twinge of regret. Regret for the old days when he trained and spoke with Hashirama. Regret that...he hadn't realized his enemy was right in front of him the whole time. Dressing as she should for his position as Brigadier General in the Japanese Military. He still had paperwork to do before the memorial and he didn't intend to be late. Izuna patiently watched his brother get ready and resumed his phone call without drawing Madara's gaze to him. "Ah, yes. Thank you Lord Mizukage, yes... Of course, I understand. No, sir...still no word from Mr. Senju about yesterday's meeting. I'm...not sure if they were asked to sponsor the event today. I believe it's a private sponsorship from the church. Yes sir, they tend to offer comfort in times of death." After a long period of waiting through Yagura's typical lecture about how they didn't care if people died, Izuna said his farewells and hung up. "Lord Mizukage gets harder to deal with when there's been a death somewhere." "I should think it obvious why..." Izuna looked up and found Shisui standing in front of him with the coffee pot, "Yagura once implemented a zero tolerance for failure in the Hidden Mist Village. I don't think death bothers him like it does others." Izuna sighed, unwilling to look his cousin in the eye, "Does it bother you?" The pair kept silent and thus became just another morning in the Uchiha household as long as Shisui lived with them.
CPU's Residence: Kuro deflected flecks of food flying from Neptune's eating with her hand but still smiled to herself at her sisters' offer. "I think that actually would be fun. If you can manage not to get us lost, Neptune." Belle happily smiled as she sipped her tea and picked apart a piece of toast. "It'd be very nice to go to the memorial together once we're done with our things. We haven't spent much time as a family and this would be a good opportunity to be together." Orihara Building: Mairu and Kururi exchanged confused looks. Kururi pointed at the small twins, "You two...have traits from your sister?" She asked like it was the most bizarre fact in the world. Mairu quickly braided her hair and pulled on her sweatshirt, "How weird. We flipped a coin. We decided that whoever got heads would be the loud one and whoever got tails would be the quiet one. I got heads." Mairu proceeded to undress and dress her sister before they flung open their door, "Let's go see what super-quiet Izaya-nii is up to." Kururi shifted her clothes around, "Kinda odd to wake up without the noise of the tv...or the smoke alarm going off." The pair skipped down the stairs and immediately hugged their brother around his waist. "Morning, Nii-san." "Morning, Nii-san." Irritated, Izaya brushed them off and continued towards the large window that made up a portion of his wall. Picking up a pair of binoculars, he scanned the mass of people outside. Mairu spotted Lulu cleaning up a stack of papers and started to drool. "Good morning, Lulu. Is breakfast ready?" Lulu turned, her ruby eyes landing on the twins and nodded towards the kitchen. Shop of Wishes: Spoiler "Watanuki~~~ More sake~!" "More! More!" A boy with black hair and two different colored eyes sighed as he pulled himself away from the busy task of cooking. Carrying another sake bottle to Yuuko lounging outside with the Black Mokona. Placing the new bottle of sake beside her and taking the empty one, the boy smiled fondly as she poured herself another cup and one for Mokona. "Watanuki..." "Watanuki... The pot is boiling over." "Boiling over." Panicked the boy ran back into the kitchen and switched off the fire, quickly moving the pot from the stove and into the sink. Looming over his shoulder, Fai smiled when Watanuki looked at him. "Can I help, Watanuki-kun?" For the life of him, Watanuki didn't want to say no... "It's alright, Fai. Breakfast is read---" "Breakfast!" "Breakfast!" Allowing Fai to help carry the food to the table, Watanuki kept himself busy with keeping Black Mokona out of the food. Maru and Moro, the twin girls that followed Watanuki around more than they did Yuuko now, sat on one side of the table to Watanuki's left with Fai on his right and Yuuko directly opposite of him. Both Mokona's didn't take up much space but they too got their own place setting of food. Maru and Moro didn't have a set of food. Fai tilted his head questioningly at them and in between bites, Watanuki answered his unspoken question. "Maru and Moro don't need to eat." Yuuko smiled at the ever happy Fai, "They don't have souls, Fai-kun. Unlike us, they don't require sustenance of food or water. They are bound to the shop. As long as it exists...they exist." Fai nodded, thoughtfully as they ate. Lifting his head, Watanuki grumbled for a moment before addressing the twins, "Maru...Moro...go to the front. The pain in the ass is here." Maru and Moro stood and skipped off to the front holding hands and returned with a man carrying a bottle wrapped in gift wrapping. "Welcome, Doumeki." The man bowed to Yuuko and gave a brief wave to Fai before taking Maru and Moro's place at the table and dishing himself some of the food. "I heard you have an errand today." Watanuki gave him a rather sour look and nodded, "Yuuko-san asked Belle to retrieve something for her and that Mugetsu would be able to find it...so I have to go along." He fell silent for a while before asking, "What is it?" Irritated, Watanuki growled, "If I knew, I'd tell you!" Spoiler
Confused. It was the best word to describe the lack of holes being shot into her skull. Luce frowned, she had no answer for any of those questions. But why? A monster should be able to turn her back on anyone for the sake of her overall goal. Kill Azazel...it was simple and straightforward. Yet he asked if she would kill her so-called siblings...Lenny...and the worthless human? Sure she was fond of Adam and her feelings were rather mixed on the subject of Alexis simply because she saw far too much of herself in the girl. Alexis was a girl that hadn't given up when Luce had and it made her jealous of her resolve. Scott...would require a lot more smothering her conscience to actually seriously hurt. The human she had no problem imagining putting a bullet through his throat. But Lenny....he was the only one...the only one she felt truly uneasy about. To go at him with the intent to kill tied her stomach into painful knots. A pain similar to tearing something in half tore through her skull. "I have no problem doing any of it." What? An icy, slithering cold wrapped around her soul. "I'd rather tear the worthless human's head off with my bare hands but a bullet through his head would still bring a smile to my face I'm sure." A smile? Would killing someone as insignificant as the human really make her happy? She started to wrap her arms around herself, a reflex and habit, but forced herself to stop and sit still. "I think its obvious I don't like Alexis. Untouchable? Ha! Even if she pulled the trigger when I did, the girl has very little experience handling a firearm. It'd be pretty hard to miss the pretty blonde head of an ignorant brat." Ignorant brat...? Why was she underestimating her? It simply wasn't surprising anymore. She'd probably get shot herself but that arrogant voice that kept speaking for her was positive she'd walk away from that encounter alive. "Adam and Scott should know better by now not to screw with his elders. I'd rather see the both of them plain and simple dead at my hand rather than mauled and tortured by Azazel later." Rather? Rather dead than alive? There was still a chance they could walk away from a fight with Azazel as them as the victors...wasn't there? "If even you stood in my way...I wouldn't hesitate Lenny. For everything you've taught me...I know better than any of the others that killing Azazel doesn't solve all our problems. Each of us are spawns of that filth. If killing you...means I can get my chance at him...that just means I've erased another stain of his mark from the world." A stain? But Lenny had saved her. She owed him her very life. Her hands shook even as she reflexively relaxed and clenched them. "I don't understand what makes you think killing Scott or any of you would be any different to me." But it would. Each of them was unique..."You're all the same."Each of them had meaning to her."You're all meaningless in my eyes." They were all... "You're all nothing but..." "My family." "My enemies. Don't you get it!? You'd all stand in my way when I could take care of our biggest problem with my bare hands!"Lucielle! Shut up! "You shut up! I've had enough! You can either use me to my fullest potential or you can kill me now, either way you've got one less problem." "I'm...a problem? You're wrong. Why won't you listen to me!?" "Make your choice, Lenny. The death of me...or the death of Azazel."
Shirogane Estate: Spoiler It was faint but the feeling was familiar. Opening her eyes, Naoto's vision was clouded by thick fog. A familiar fog. Reaching for her pocket, her hand brushed across her pajama top. Her gaze shot down and she found herself standing barefoot in her pajamas in the middle of the TV world covered in fog. Nervous fear shot through her heart, "I must've gotten here somehow... This doesn't look like the same place I was thrown in before...or the place where the others came in at. That must mean Teddie doesn't know I'm here yet." Giving up on trying to see through the fog, Naoto lifted her hand out in front of her, "Persona!" No card answered her call. Dropping her hand back to her side, Naoto shut her eyes again, "No response. I haven't been here in a long time...hopefully those powers don't disappear after long periods of un-use." A noise similar to that of something licking its lips with great exaggeration came from behind her. Turning sharply, she scanned the area around her for any sign of a Shadow. Sweat dripped down her back, making her pajamas stick to her skin. Turning away from the noise, she ran through the fog. Every time she heard a similar noise she turned away from it and kept running. Her foot caught on something and she tumbled to the ground. Hitting her shoulder against the ground, Naoto rolled right off a drop. Her grasping fingers missed the edge and she fell into the darkness. Jerking awake, Naoto gasped, her body covered in cold sweat and her hands tightly clenched in her sheets. Releasing her innocent blankets, she looked down at her lap and found a small bundle of white and blue fur curled up in her lap. "What?" The ball lifted its head and blinked large blue eyes at her, "Nee!" An odd meow from a cat. Reaching a shaky hand out towards it, the memory of how her Persona hadn't worked in her dream came back to her. The cat stood, waving twin blue-tipped tails, and touched its head to her hand. When soft fur touched Naoto's skin, the cat glowed a bright blue and the fear in her dream vanished. Stroking its fur, Naoto let out a relieved sigh, "Thank you. What are you? I guess...some sort of cat." "Nee!" Its ears folded back and Naoto retracted her hand away from sharp teeth. "I guess not. You look more like a fox, but...two tails?" The little fox scrambled up Naoto's arm and circled around her neck, sitting down on her shoulder and pressed its head against her cheek. "My name is O-chan." A female voice entered her mind and surprised the young detective. "You can talk?" Pulling away, O-chan mewed again. "One time thing, huh? Well that's alright." Swinging her legs over the side of her bed, Naoto dressed and hopped down the stairs of her grandfather's mansion. On her way, she peeked into her grandfather's study where she found him dozing off at his desk with papers on different cases surrounding him. "Sleep well, Grandfather." Beginning her own investigation, Naoto hurried through breakfast and out the door with the little fox still connected to her shoulder. Gadd Science Inc.: Spoiler A man with light purple hair, blue eyes, large circular glasses and a white lab coat popped up behind Shion and Vexen. "Did someone mention dangerous inventions? Speaking of the like...Ms. Shion, I'd like your permission to make a few changes to KOS-MOS. I've made several calculations concerning the Lancelot's float system and I'm positive I can make it work on KOS-MOS. Of course with the addition of a separate energy filler and upgrading the weaponry equipped from the second-rate switch system she has now." A dark haired woman came up behind him and hit her fist on the top of his head. "I'm so sorry, Ms. Uzuki. Lloyd is incapable of communicating with other humans without offending them. Please forgive him." She bowed and Lloyd sulked away before she could start lecturing him in front of his co-workers. CPU Residence: Spoiler Belle and Kuro made their way downstairs, following the smell of food and sat beside Neptune. "I'd like to see more of Tokyo today," Kuro directed mostly at Belle. Belle bit her lower lip, "True... Unfortunately, I have an errand to run." She avoided Kuro's inquisitive look. Since Belle also had very little clue as to what Yuuko was asking for, she couldn't answer her sisters' questions about her errand. Orihara Building: Spoiler Mairu and Kururi opened their eyes, glaring at Ram as she shrieked, "Chill out... It's not on this early. Why're you getting up so early anyway?" "Freaks of nature..." Kururi mumbled. Mairu fumbled around on the nightstand for her glasses and glared at the door, "Do you hear that?" Airport: Spoiler Leaving a plane, seven young men yawned and stretched. "Ohhhh, now I'm really tired. Flying from the States back to Japan is really rough." A red haired young man whined. A brown haired man slung his arm around his shoulders, "Now, now...a sleepy smile will always melt the lady's hearts." A short blond haired man wearing a fedora stopped beside the pair and yawned. "SYO-CHAAAAAANNNNNN~!" "Hm..? Urk! N-Natsuki!" A golden blond haired young man wearing oval glasses bounded out of the plane and scooped up the shorter man in a rib-cracking hug. "Syo-chan, I missed you so MUCH!" Syo gasped for air, "N-Natsuki...can't...breathe..!" Setting him down, Natsuki smiled gently as Syo gulped down large breaths of air, "Sorry." "We were sitting next to each other, how do you miss me?" "Oh...but the plane was so cramped and you slept most of the way." A dark brown haired man with a deep tan and bright blue eyes chuckled, poking Syo's cheeks, "Kawaii." Two blue haired young men picked up their bags, took one look at Syo and pulled out two small mirrors for him to look into. Syo stared into the mirrors, finding black markings all over his face. A swirl on his cheek, cat whiskers drawn close to his nose, a black dot on the tip of his nose and the word "chibi" written across his forehead. ".....NATSUKI!" Syo lifted a fist but before he could come close to hitting his roommate a group of girls in the airport started screaming and flocking towards the seven young men. Both blue haired men backed away from the flock of screaming girls, "We have to go..." "Ren, call a cab. Otoya...make sure Cecil stays close." "Roger," Ren flicked open his cellphone and the red-headed Otoya grabbed their foreign group-mate Cecil's arm, "O-Okay. Let's go, Cecil-san." They took off running for the exit, dragging the tan Cecil behind with an oblivious smile to the girls. "Bye-bye."
Kakuzu's House: Waking at the crack of dawn, Kakuzu dressed and proceeded to scowl at the awful mess that was Hidan's room. The wall was scarred and painted over in pure black with his stupid Jashinism symbol slapped in the center. Still burning candles sat on the floor far too close to the wall. 'Fire hazard,' he thought with disdain. The entire floor was littered with dirty magazines, half eaten food, clothes (whether or not they were clean was a mystery even to Kakuzu), and...what he prayed was a store-bought rabbits foot and not a real one. Hidan, himself, lay half in and half out of his own bed. A blanket mostly laying on the floor with a single corner of it wrapped around his leg. His head was nearly touching the floor and a puddle of drool had formed next to him. 'Disgusting,' Kakuzu held his breath and cautiously stepped into the room, careful where he put his foot down. Giving a hard kick to Hidan's bed, Kakuzu waited for Hidan's purple eyes to focus on him and his open hanging mouth to shut before he spoke. "Wake up." Sitting up, Hidan rubbed his head, "G'morning to you too, grumpy. We have today off, or don't you remember? I'm gonna sleep in." Ignoring Hidan's words, Kakuzu pointed towards the candles, "Those are a fire hazard. Unless you want to burn down the house, blow them out." A typical Hidan smirk appeared on his lips, "Blow --" Unable to finish his sentence, no matter how crude, Hidan found a sandal planted in the center of his forehead. Fuu flipped backwards and landed beside Kakuzu, patting his shoulder, "Morning!" Kakuzu turned on his heel and left the room. The number one way to get Hidan up in the morning... "Why you..." ...was simply to make him angry. "DAMN B!TCH!" Fuu fled from the room with Hidan dressed in his boxers on her heels. "Alright, morning jog here we COME!" The pair ran out the door, leaving Kakuzu finally to the peace and quiet of his kitchen to make breakfast. He paused before entering the kitchen. Tobi, Kisame, Zetsu and Gin were still here when he went to sleep... But he'd neither seen nor heard hide or hair of any of them. Glancing into his living room, he found it empty. Heading into the kitchen, a nightmare met his eyes. Pots, pans and an assortment of dishes were spread out on the counter and table along with several piles of food. The scents that drifted to his nose were far from pleasant. Groaning, Kakuzu drew their attention to him. Waving, Gin poured an unhealthy amount of syrup on a pile of pancakes he must've made himself since Zetsu was frowning. Unwilling to try Zetsu's food that had been pushed to one side of the table, Kakuzu grabbed a mug and poured himself some coffee. "Where are Tobi and Kisame?" Gin pointed his fork towards the window. Shuffling over to it, Kakuzu's gaze fell on Kisame and Tobi doing several exercises. "When Kisame mentioned doing warm-ups, Tobi followed him like a puppy." Orihara Building: Typing away, Izaya Orihara clicked onto a different kind of webpage and began typing. The page held only a pure black page with the word DOLLARS and a box for a password. Entering in a seemingly random assortment of numbers and letters, Izaya's face transformed as he clicked onto several sections of the forum and submitted comments. The door opened and a woman with long black hair pulled back in a pony tail and braided into sections set a cup of coffee beside him on the desk. "Aren't you going to Shinjuku again this morning?" He glanced at her out of the corner of his eye and sipped the coffee, "That's right and then I'll need you to deliver something to Kabukicho." He turned in his chair and hopped up, bringing the mug with him. Flipping open his cellphone, he typed a text message, hit send and chucked it onto the sofa. "Lulu would you bring me that phone...right there..." he pointed at another thin black phone sitting on his desk. Lulu had learned a long time ago not to ask questions when Izaya asked for things. He was an odd man that could easily be summed up in two words: pathological liar. Of course she'd also add in psychopath to her list of words to describe him. Never in her life had Lulu encountered a man that lied as much as Izaya Orihara or did the extreme as often as he did. Handing him the phone, she received one of Izaya's charming smiles and watched him hold it until it started to vibrate like crazy. Surprised, Lulu lifted a perfectly arched brow. "The fun begins," he hummed and answered the call. His grin was frighteningly different than the smiles he gave to some people. "So you're catching on now." A long pause followed Izaya's greeting and his grin only grew, "I'm so glad you get it now. Now..." The rest of his conversation flew over Lulu's head and she gave up on trying to follow half a conversation. Kazekage Bank & Accounting/Estate: The air was chilly when Temari woke up in the morning. There was something about mornings in the house that always made her feel like she'd woken up in a prison. Whether it was the fact that her father's sense of style was rather bland or the messed up setting of the thermostat being stuck on fifty degrees in a house full of people used to one-hundred degrees. She quietly and quickly headed down the stairs and into the dining room. Her father sat at the head of the table with Gaara sitting a distance away from him. It was just like her brother to keep his distance from their father this early in the morning. The Fourth Kazekage wasn't a pleasant man in the morning, even if he was an early riser. Shuffling over to them, she bent over her father's shoulder and kissed his cheek, "Good morning, Father." Walking over to her youngest brother, she ruffled his hair and hugged his head to her chest, "Morning, Gaara." Gaara lifted his head as she hugged him and set a pale hand on her arm, "Good morning, Temari." She looked around, "Is Kankuro making breakfast?" The Kazekage rubbed his face, "Kankuro is still asleep. Yashamaru is making breakfast. Pakura...what's taking you?" When he spoke, Pakura came running into the dining room and set a mug in front of him along with the paper. A bold headline re-hashed yesterday's tragedy. "Are you going to the memorial, Gaara?" Gaara's head shot towards his father, turquoise eyes wide, "Well...yes, I thought that..." "Good." Gaara suppressed the urge to let his jaw drop to the table. An uncomfortable silence fell over the room until Yashamaru poked his head around the corner, "Who wants french toast~?! Oh good morning Temari." Setting down the plates of food, Yashamaru set a warm hand on Gaara's shoulder and patiently smiled at the Kazekage, "Anything planned for today, sir?" The Kazekage ate quietly along with his family, ignoring Yashamaru's question.
