Aqua's character is basically martyrdom, I agree, and it is telling of how little development the characters have gotten in the series (save Riku who's probably grown the most). There are flashes of more interesting character traits with Aqua over the series that would be great to explore tho. Like when she got to Cinderella's world for the first time, she sensed the darkness in the stepmom & step-sisters and...brought out her Keyblade to walk into their house to murder them. I remember playing it while talking to a friend on Skype and just saying "AQUA WHAT THE ****????????" And then game just glosses over that like it never happened! BBS paints her as the one (imo) most devout to following Eraqus' way of teaching, so they do have a chance to do something interesting with that given Sora and co's higher acceptance towards darkness as a legitimate aspect of the worlds, and the fact Riku exists & probably still reeks (ha) of that dank Nort he was on for a few games. But knowing Nomura, it probably won't happen at all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hey everyone! As was announced Saturday of last week, the KH-Vids staff is going to be streaming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue this weekend! We've been super excited to start, and have been preparing behind the scenes to get ready. We will be streaming on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday at 7PM EST, @Cat~ will be streaming Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, with commentary provided by her, Heart, and Karuta. On Sunday, Plums will be streaming Kingdom Hearts X: Back Cover at 12PM EST (with no commentary). Later that night, Plums will stream Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage, with commentary from Plums, Heart, and Fearless at 7PM EST. Furthermore, to make the commentary a little more interesting, we'll doing a rotating guest commentary throughout the streams! Members who sign up will join with us for about an hour, and then we'll switch over to the next person in line. These will be first come, first serve, but if interested, you should still sign up anyway just in case a spot ends up vacated! Hey everyone! If you've been following our social media outlets, you know we teased an announcement that would come today. After some of discussion and prep work over the last two weeks, I'm happy to announce that the KH-Vids staff will be livestreaming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue next weekend on January 28th and January 29th! We figured it would be a good way to allow everyone in the community, both ours and the broader KH community, to get together and experience the newest installment in the series, whether you're planning to get it now or later on down the line. On both Saturday and Sunday, we will be streaming the entirety of both Kingdom Hearts X: Back Cover and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep 0.2 -A Fragmentary Passage-. We'll be streaming all of this on our Twitch channel, which you can follow by clicking the following link: KH-Vids Twitch Channel. We're still ironing out a couple things in our collective schedules, so I can't announce the times just yet, but you can stay tuned for an announcement of when the streams will be held in the upcoming week.
