After two years, you could imagine that coming home would be kind off difficult for Riku. He knew his grandparents would still be there. So that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. But explaining them why he had been away for so long, well, that was a whole different story. But than it somehow comforted him that he would not be the only one who would have a hard time. Riku realized that only Kairi could walk into her home as if nothing happened. She did all the explanation the last time she came back to the islands, a year ago. Sora, on the other hand, had to tell his mom and dad he would soon be leaving them again, as the King asked him to go on a journey again. So yeah, Riku had been quite lucky. And still, he was worried about his grandparents reaction. He couldn’t just walk right in, could he? He was still wondering what to do when his grandma opened the door.
