hey misty, I have 2 questions to ask you, 1st question is how do I upgrade to the new version of vb without having to delete the files in my web root? reason I'm asking is because I downloaded the new version of vb, highlighted the folders and files and dragged them into my web root and replaced every individual file, but when I logged into the acp the previous version which is vb v4.1.5 was still there. 2nd question, okay I installed the archive by entering the url the way your told me to enter it then hit save or update or whatever and went to click the tab and it didn't give me a 404 error this time, what it did do however was take me to a identical page identical to the forum page in other words it took me to the same page where all my forums are located at except the url path in the search bar at the top of the page in my browser displayed the path of the archive which is weird , so could you tell me what I did wrong or what I didn't do right and tell me what to do? ty misty and sorry for the long message btw.:/
