Hmm well, tak is a Dutch word but not for thank you :p. 'Tak' is actually the Dutch word for a branch xD. Thank you in Dutch is 'Dank u' or 'Dankjewel' or 'Dank je'. The last two are informal, the 'u' in the first one is formal :p

Well, you should live in the Flanders (north) part of Belgium though, then you'd speak Dutch/Flemish and I'd understand you. The other half of Belgium speaks French and I'm not so good at speaking French so that wouldn't be so convienient xD
