KH-Vids is the first forum from the forums I visit where Profile Customization works.

SEGA removed it shortly after upgrading to 4.1.3, because nothing would save.

The same thing happens over on FFS, which I'm now considering quitting. They're supposedly trying to become stricter because of how degraded it's become with all the chaos in General Discussion -- well, it's their own damn fault that it became degraded, in my opinion. My Word Game thread got locked because it was "pointless".

I'm still waiting on a few soundtrack requests, and then I'm done with FFS.

I posted a thread over there regarding forum bugs and most of the replies are nothing but trolling and no response from the administrator / owner, Sarah. Pretty much rule free, and then all of the sudden it's a problem.

Anyway, sorry to vent on you.

That reminds me of a question. Why did we upgrade to 4.1.3 instead of to the latest version of 4.1.5?

They even upgraded from vBulletin version 4.1.3 to version 4.1.5 -- probably security patches.

For some reason, sometime before the hacking, SEGA changed it from 15 minutes to 60 minutes. I think it was because, even though they have a good server, they wanted to reduce server stress.

Out of curiosity, what exactly is that called? Also, since SEGA changed it from 15 minutes to 60 minutes, I'm assuming administrators of any vBulletin forum can change how long it is before a user is shown as offline that hasn't clicked anywhere for however long?

Oh, no, that's not it.

After 15 minutes passes, it shows a user as offline. They're logged in, they're just not shown. It's like you and other people that just close their browser instead of logging out on forums. For people that just close the browser, they'll still be shown as online for 15 minutes, whereas people, like me, that log out, they're instantly shown as offline.

For example, earlier you didn't do anything for 15 minutes at 3:14 PM / 6:14 PM, so at 3:29 PM / 6:29 PM, you disappeared from the "What's Going On?" thing, but you were still logged in.

Haha, this took me a little over an hour to make.

Luckily, I previewed about every 10 minutes so it wouldn't show me as offline after 15 minutes passed.
