I have always found that complicated rhythms were hard then crazy fast notes. I am sure you will get that down.

But yeah drumming is interesting if you play all day. The best time is in the middle because you are all lose and warmed up so to speak. In the beginning I always seem tense and at the end I usually get muscle spasms in my arms which feels rather odd and slows me down a bit

I found that my voice fits most of All that Remains' songs very well. Not much stress.
I don't know about now but I used to do a lot of screaming. Most people think that doesn't take much but I enjoyed it because it got some emotions out very easily.

As for drums I have been playing for like 2-3 years. Those years were when I took drumming seriously but I did just randomly play years before that.
But hey if you want to go for it and play songs like that then go for. The best thing you can do is just practice practice practice. Trust me at first learning any instrument sucks but you will get better I promise. When I learned drums I couldn't do a roll for my life and my feet and legs were slow so I couldn't keep a beat at all but then I was able to play some pretty tough songs. Also it helps to set small goals every so often. My goal was to be able to play this song just like it actually sounds and I eventually did get there.

It is pretty funny. I apparently listen to all the songs I used to love playing on drums. Some tells me I miss it lol.

But seriously though learning guitar can suck but you will get it.

Well walking is a struggle let alone my old double bass habits lol.

Hopefully I will be able to go back but since the muscle went away all I have is the rhythm but not the endurance or strength to do the crazy stuff before
I used to be able to play a lot of tough songs before I got sick. I would play A7X, Rush, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Disturbed, Judas Priest, Metallica, and other bands literally till my body gave up. I would play until I got dehydrated which wasn't a good idea but it made me a better drummer in the long run. I learned and became very good very fast. I am not the best but I am good enough to play the songs I love. As for singing unless it is in rockband I am never confident enough to actually sing and even in rockband I am always worried about how I sound.
My voice is rather odd as you know so high notes don't happen that much but sometimes I get lucky.

I used to sing All That Remains songs all the time. I was able to sing this one rather perfectly at one point. It is a tough one

and gah I wish you had xbox 360. Drums are really fun though as is singing. I am an actual drummer or I used to be but now I won't be doing much real drumming sadly. I also am a pretty good singer on rockband although I am very shy D:
