That's the one thing about my parents, they're not religious at all, and it's wonderful because I really, (and I forget if you're religious or not, so if I offend, I 'apologize') don't like the idea of parents filling their children's heads with the idea that there's some guy in a white...whatever running about in the sky or wherever they say heaven is just so there's another way to control their imaginations and actions by saying "God will punish you for that". To me, it's a bit stupid to believe in a god you've never seen that people enforce upon you sometimes.

To my mom and dad...?

That's a bit hard to say, but from what I do know of you, you would probably keep to your room if they were your parents, especially on the weekends because my dad gets really very wasted and it's uncomfortable to be around him sometimes. My mom, a lot of the time when she's dealing with my sister or other small things, is an emotional wreck; she yells and screams and threatens my sister, not to mention she verbally abuses us sometimes.

But when my dad is sober (which is during the week) and he's in a good mood, you would probably get along well with him because he views things similarly to you, not to mention he makes some of my smartest teachers look like idiots. My mom, when she's not screaming her head off, is a wonderful, interesting, very eccentric woman whose not the brightest crayon in the box but is a lot more sociable than my dad.

It really makes me wonder how the two ever married in the first place...

I'm polite to everyone's mom and/or dad until further notice. Since I've never met her mom, I can't really say more on the matter.

I know that I'm lucky compared to other children, but if anyone who ever said that they liked my mom should really try living with her as me for one day, see if that doesn't drive them enough to become an hero and win the Golden iPod award./sigh...

Hell, I barely like your mom, I probably wouldn't fancy her parents much either. Apparently, I'm lucky, everyone likes my mom, barely anyone knows my dad. Even P, Heinlein, Laria, and some of the others have talked to my mom through Voxli and they like her. How the hell do people like her?!
