Or I just thought of something else, use a Video Game character, I think I know a good character from Wild Arms.

I wonder why...? Sur ehe cna pause time but I think ichigo figured out his weakness, you cannot keep the time-stops up forever which would drain Dio's energy immensely and Ichigo took advantage of the small gaps that was exposed, sorta like Pein's Rinnegan had to wait a few seconds before it coudl use another Jutsu cause the more powerful the attack, the more seconds it takes.

Ichigo might give the same speech that Urahara taught him about that resolve, perhaps to Simon when he's afarid he'll never go on and Ichigo just goes up and says those words.

TV SHow character wise, I'm thinking maybe Kamen Rider.
