It'll also help to make sure that you go first. Kalin can mess you up if you're not careful. If you get to go first, you start. If not, Lawton does, then Kalin, then Lawton, then You.

I beat him on my first try much to my surprise. I got to go first. And I got pretty lucky with my starting hand. I used Royal Decree to stop his Traps and then me and Kalin attacked him with My Elemental Heroes and his Infernities for game. And the best part was we OTKed him. He had all 8000 of his LP but me and Kalin took them all out in that one move. The Duel lasted 7 turns.

He starts the Duel with a hand of 10 cards instead of 5. And he uses a Burn Deck. So he has a pretty strong chance of killing you before you get a turn like he did in the anime.

What? I'm just saying Lawton is a hard opponent.

And yeah, About the using cheat codes thing:

The only codes I use are the "have all" codes. It's because I just like to use an Elemental Hero Deck from the beginning and because I wanted to customize my character to look like Jaden from GX. I don't use things like Instant Win or Infinite Life Points so I don't really consider what I'm doing cheating. And sometimes I just like to remove the banlist with the No Banlist code to try out different cards for fun. I don't do it that often. And if I ever play online I won't use Forbidden cards. And since I don't have Wi-Fi this is pretty much the only way that I can edit my Deck for the new banlists that come out so yeah.

I was happy to see that they had a Fusion Heroes Starter Deck. That one is my personal favorite.

Yeah, Normally I would do that but the thing is I don't really find that fun. I'd rather just be able to use whatever kind of Deck I want to use in Story Mode. And I don't think I even could do it otherwise. I'm horrible with every kind of Deck except for Elemental Heroes as I said before. And I hate those starter Decks. I'm horrible with them. I can hardly win at all with them.

I just used the All Cards AR Code to get all the cards. I hate the starter Deck they make you use.
