I am honored to use it. But it is very scary because those can't really be repaired.

As for my grandfather we were very close. He passed away when i was in 7th grade and we are so much alike. Everything i do i think to myself what would he do. Everything he did he did as a gentlemen and he did right. For example he built my grandmother's house from the ground up by hand by himself. He was also in the navy.

I will never forget his last words he said to me. He took my hand and said to be please take care of her. The only reason he held onto life was because he wanted to take care of my grandmother and the doctors were shocked to see him live because his lungs were completely filled with fluid. So i promised him i would which is why i always go to my grandmother's house and take care of it. It is her last memory of him and she can't take care of it herself.

And its weird how many people I know who were forced to do band. I was lucky enough to grow up with a music loving family and a grandfather who was willing to give his 1920-1930 mint condition Bach Strad trumpet to a third grader(me).

And to clarify how valuable a trumpet like that is worth. Is about twice as much as this site.

And yeah my sister plays clarinet and it is a pain to learn before it sounds good. She started in fourth grade and she is in college now, so she is very good at it.

But violin would be cool lol. Learn the devil went down to Georgia.

"was" a beast, he unfortunately is no longer with us. And I always liked them but was never a huge fan until this past year.

And as for learning an instrument it does take time. I have played drums for 2-3 years and only got good this year and in my school i play the trumpet which i have been playing since third grade.
