*demands an explanation on how what I just said is not rigged*

EDIT: Just to make sure we're clear on this, I don't think that ALL of the games are rigged. Just some of them. The main one that I think is is Stardust Accelerator. I didn't find any of the other WC games even remotely as frustrating as that one was.

I'm very sure that Tag Force 5 is NOT rigged. Because I HAVE seen the AI get a dead hand before in that game.

      ----------
Using a 40 card deck with good thinning and draw power, the odds of that are actually pretty high.
      ----------
Sorry, I guess I probably should've mentioned that the AI always does this WITHOUT using any Draw or Deckthinning cards...

Yet it still always draws the aforementioned Limited cards within the first 3 turns of The Duel like all the time.

Jesse, The AI is rigged so that it has a chance to win. That's all there is to it. Anybody can see that. I don't know how many games this is true in but I KNOW that it was true back in SAWC2009...

Back in that game the AI would ALWAYS get Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute and Bottomless Trap Hole right of the start of a Duel. I remember it happening EVERY time...

I can promise you that some of these games ARE rigged. But it's mainly just the earlier ones.

Let me give you an example of what I heard someone on GameFAQS say happened in the earlier games:

      ----------
      You VS Kaiba:

      *Duel Starts*

      Your turn:

You set 1 monster and 2 traps

      Kaiba's turn:

      -Uses Raigeki
      -Uses Harpies feather duster
      -Summons Cyberstein
-Uses cyberstein to summon ultimate blue eyes white dragon
      -Equips Megamorph to Ultimate
-Atks with a 9000 atk force
      ----------
That was all the time. %100 of his duels were the same

      Now THAT is rigged...
    3. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      ----------
They were almost all that short. I'm pretty sure the most I went was 4 rounds (again, a round is i go you go, so 8 turns total) against Hopeless Dragons because I irked up an RDA play.
      ----------
What's RDA? Also, that Deck you showed me honestly doesn't look capable of that. Then again I wouldn't really know because I don't use complicated Decks like that one. Alot of the decks you've shown me are too complicated for me to figure out how to use. I guess I still have alot to learn.

      ----------
Also the Absolute Zero guy managed to stall against Six Sams for a while before losing, so that one was kind of long.
      ----------
You know, he probably could've won if he had recycled Absolute Zero into another Fusion. That would've left the Six Sams guy defenseless.
    4. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
Okay, Now I know you aren't being serious. Were the Duels at the tournament you were at last time really THAT short?

And what do you mean The Duel Arena is slow? OTKs can and DO happen really fast in there if a noob faces an experienced player.
    5. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
Did you make that Deck yourself?

*sigh* I'm beginning to stop finding the videogames fun...I'm having thoughts about only playing in The Duel Arena...

It's for the same reason why you quit The Duel Arena but in reverse:

I really and I mean I really REALLY hate this random card draw...I'd much rather get to Duel without having to worry about a bad starting hand and dead draws.

What The Duel Arena does is it gives people like me a chance to play better. Because I am absolutely horrible at drawing the right cards in the videogames...

And for that reason I'm beginning to stop finding the videogames fun...

      ----------
      Duel Starts:
Me: *gets a crappy hand with nothing useful to summon or set* Oh this is so poopy...
AI: *summons a monster and attacks me directly*
Me: DAMMIT!!! *draws and gets a dead draw* ****!!!
AI: *summons another monster and attacks me directly twice*
Me: DAMMIT!! ****!!! ****!!! *draws and gets another dead draw* ****ETY **** ****!!!
AI: *summons a third monster and then Synchro Summons a random strongass Synchro Monster* *Attacks me directly and finishes me off*
      Me:

      ----------
      I really don't see how that's fun...>.>
    6. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
Can you give me an example of a Deck like that please?

By that I mean post a recipe for me.
    7. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
I can understand that. Because I saw something just like that in Tag Force 1. (Well actually it was Beginning of Destiny but they're technically the same game so I like to just call Beginning of Destiny Tag Force 1 for short)

But Jesse, Let me ask you something,

Let's say that you were to go to your locals and have a match with somebody. What are the chances that you would get things like either Monster Reborn, Heavy Storm and/or Mirror Force, Swords of Revealing Light and/or Torrential Tribute within your first 3 draws of the Duel each time? Sure it would happen sometimes but there's no way that you would have them like 9 times in a row. (If that's how many times you played the person you were Dueling) Especially not with cards that are Limited to only one copy per deck.
    8. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
I gotta say, If these games aren't rigged then I must be the most unlucky Duelist in the world...

I've seen that in a good many of these games both Tag Force and WC the AI (whoever you're fighting), gets a super exaggerated good first hand at least 4/6 of the times, (this means having a Monster Reborn/Premature Burial, Heavy Storm and/or Mirror Force on the very first 2nd or 3rd draw) when I only get these cards using a deck of 40 cards like 2/6 of the time. And this pisses me off like you wouldn't believe.

So tell me, is this rigged or am I the most unlucky person ever born?
    9. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
Well I've started talking with experienced players online anyway.

But I don't understand...Weren't the videogames created for the purpose of prepping people for playing in real life? If so they can't be that different aside from the dumb AI...
    10. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
*sigh* You sure are an awesome Duelist...I wish I was as good as you...
    11. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
I could've SWORN I heard you say that you hacked the cards in awhile back...

Anyway, Thanks for not spoiling Over The Nexus for me. I wanna see what it's like for myself.

But I must ask this, How did your Duel with Lawton go?
    12. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      ----------
First of all, no, that is not possible. Second, I did not "Hack into the game". I am merely playing a backup copy of it. I haven't touched the integral data at all. Lastly, it's NOT RIGGED, get over it.
      ----------
But didn't you say that you hacked all the cards in?

      ----------
Try soft resetting in real life and see how that works out for you.
      ----------
Lol good one. Well bad luck shouldn't be as much of a problem for me in real life since a computer wouldn't be shuffling my Deck. And when it was I would just simply take my loss like a man and ask the person I was Dueling if they would care for a rematch. Because even I couldn't be unlucky enough with my draw that I'd lose because of a bad starting hand like 9 times in a row.
    13. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
Ugh! Damn your magical good luck powers! I don't know how the hell you did that...

Because I can NEVER beat some people with that Deck...I can never EVER beat Vayu with that deck, EVER. Because if you remember me saying, I ALWAYS lose to Vayu because of a bad opening draw. ALWAYS.

You know, It might be possible that you undid the certain themes being rigged to be strong against certain ones rigging when you hacked into the game. Maybe that's why that doesn't happen to you.

God I sure hope Over The Nexus isn't gonna be like this...

At least with Tag Force 5 I could beat any theme with My Heroes because all I had to do was soft reset if I got a bad starting hand.
    14. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
No they aren't. Both Elemental Heroes and Destiny Heroes are tricky to master. That's why alot of people lose with them and don't use them. With Elemental Heroes you have to learn how to master their Fusions. And that Duel you had with that guy on Wi-Fi tells me that you don't know how to properly use them. The reason why you lost to him was because it was your fault for not being conservative with your hand and for summoning 2 Absolute Zeroes at once.

That and when you said stuff to me like:

      ----------
He's the same as a Trap Hole.
      ----------

      ----------
      He's pathetic.
      ----------
All three of those things right there prove that you don't understand how to properly use him. The idea of Absolute Zero is to wait till the opponent ALREADY HAS filled their field with monsters to summon him. Nobody is gonna be stupid enough to empty their hand and fill their field up with monsters when they see Absolute Zero on the field. Especially not TWO of them. I seriously have no idea what you were thinking by summoning 2 of him in the hopes of attacking for 5000 Damage...

You gotta learn the appropriate times to bring out their Fusions and which ones to choose. You'll normally have plenty of options.

      Oh god. xD
I'm probably gonna end up doing the same, haha.
But I got Nintendogs today and ;________; SO ADORABLE. (which probably doesn't interest you, but still 8D)

Ah yeah, but since I've been playing Okamiden I've been holding the stylus out of the slot anyway, so I'm a bit used to it. I had trouble finding it first though. >>
    16. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
Same goes for Elemental Heroes. I probably WON'T try them in that case. I've already devoted way too much of my time into mastering The Elemental Heroes.
    17. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
I'm glad more support is now out for the Six Sams. I've been wanting to try them. They look really fun.
    18. Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
      Hitokiri Shinigami Shinta
What the best type of Deck that you recommend running may I ask?

No matter what I do, No matter what kind of Deck I use bad luck still always manages to find me somehow...

I've been wondering if maybe I should take Jinzo out of my Synchro Deck and replace him with something else...What do you think?

Because even though he's very helpful there are also times when he also gets in my way when I would've won otherwise...

      What do you suggest?
    19. Korra
      Korra
I've yet to get any games for it yet but I played Okamiden on it for a few minutes and I really like how much brighter the screen is than my old DS. :'D
      I'm probably gonna end up getting Nintendogs + Cats and Steel Diver. xD;;

But oh my god the AR Cards. So entertaining.
Yeah, my only complaint about that is that the D-pad is a tad uncomfortable to use, but otherwise it's a great addition.
