Well in cars that have quick shifters the needle goes to those numbers very quickly. They usual have an air intake I'm not sure if that's for all of them. But the ones I've done some reasearch one the Bugatti, Zonda F, Nissan R35 all have quick Shifters. And the faster you go the more air is going againsts you. So the air intake takes some of that air and the pushes through the back end of the car making that woosh sound. The reason it seems like the car is going backwards can't really explain that all to well. I can show you better then I can tell you. And all you would have to worry about if you get a quick shifter is the clutch cause that bad bo will gone gone in seconds if you can't shift fast enough on time.)
