I now have an Elemental Hero Deck that can win me The Duel on only Turn 3.

You apparently don't realize the reason why those cards are Forbidden. It's because of how ridiculously powerful they are. They're so powerful that they murder everybody who can't afford them at tournaments. Two great examples are Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning and Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End. Before they were banned games would literally be dependant on who draw the card(s) first. They're very easy to summon and once they hit the field the game would usually end the Duel on that turn. A long time ago there was a huge fiasco back when the Envoys were still legal. They were so incredibly powerful that they were dominating the game. They were expensive back then, so if you couldn't afford the Envoys, you couldn't win any games, unless it was against people without Envoys. A lot of people were quitting.

If you want more advice on your Dragon Deck Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of The End is a good card to add if you've unlocked the ability to use one Forbidden Card.

I feel the same way for some reason...I often just hate the world and want to just give up on everything.


I hate this random card draw so much...I wish I could just pick whatever it was I drew like in The Arena...Because then I could show my true strength...No matter how good I make my Deck still bad luck always manages to find me somehow. And that makes me feel like I was cheated out of a win.

It looked to me like you were holding back in our last Duel. I've seen you play much better than that before.

As for your last comment:

We both use similar Decks. I use Elemental Heroes and you use Hopeless Dragons. And as I said before having monsters with high attack does not make a good competitive deck. They both have the highest attack powered cards in the game but they aren't competitive. Because they're a situational deck that will only work if it draws right, and the summoning conditions for all of their high ATK monsters are slow, difficult and impractical. Our Decks share the same problems. Elemental Heroes and Hopeless Dragons are notorious for giving players bad starting hands and draws.

Let me emphasize this though: Sometimes even if you're using a good deck it's still impossible to make use of your starting hand. So don't blame yourself. Every deck loses due to bad luck sometimes no matter how good you make it. All that can be done is to decrease the chances of it happening. But that is something that Elemental Heroes and Hopeless Dragons do not do.
