I never will force you to continue you know, a Duelist's health is more important than a victory which can be claimed anytime.

Very nice catch. Neither I or the guy I was dueling noticed. The judge was at another table. It didn't really matter because I lost his Absolute Zero to Mirror Force the next turn anyway. But you get the point, right?

I would really like it if you would tell me what makes Absolute Zero easier to recover from than Raigeki. Because I completely fail to see it.

You recover just like you'd recover from Icarus Attack destroying all your monsters or anything else. My opponent only got Absolute Zero out once each duel. The first time:

-He gets AZ from Future Fusion, attacks my facedown Mystic Tomato, I search Plaguespreader Zombie with it
-My turn, I summon Nova Summoner and Synchro for Goyo Guardian
-I attack Absolute Zero
-Zero dies and blows me up
-Goyo activates and I steal Absolute Zero
-my face when
^That was a really lucky play, the second time was a little more mundane

-He gets AZ from Miracle Fusion, attacks my Tomato, I take the damage and get Sangan
-My turn, I tribute Sangan for Caius, Caius removes Absolute Zero, Caius is destroyed
-I get Sangan's effect, Set a card and the duel continues as normal.

See, it's not even a big deal if he gets AZ out. It would have been the same thing if he just used a BTH on my Caius.

But it takes skill to know how to play your cards. There's a difference between knowing how to use your cards and knowing how to play them. (Lol I stole that line from Zane in GX) But it's true. All The Duel Arena does is let you pick your cards. And it takes skill to know how to use your cards and think of the right combos. That might be something that you could not comprehend because of your high amount of skill. I'm not trying to argue. I'm just saying.

Except you never, ever get to just choose what cards you can use in the actual game. You have to think of plays on the fly, like when I stole AZ.

Do you even REALIZE that that's WHERE I got my skills in The Arena? If it wasn't for the videogames I wouldn't be the player there that I am today. I had to have actual training before I got good in The Arena.

If you're THAT eager why not just get the Japanese version? It's supposed to have an English option like 09 and 10, and the DS isn't region locked at all. The 3DS will be, though.

Ok I understand take all the time you need.

I just traded in my DSiXL for a 3DS preorder so I won't be able to play it when it comes out. And I don't buy games, I download them, so unless someone finds a way to make DSi flashcards work on the 3DS I'm not going to be able to play it for a while. I'll have Tag Force though.

I didn't do that well in the tournament, I hope you understand that I wasn't trying to brag when I told you about it. There are three leagues, AAA for extremely competitive players and AA for competitive-semi competitive players, and A for casual(AKA 8-10 year old) players. I was playing in AA, and the only decks I beat were not competitive at all (Yubel, Absolute Zero, and Hopeless Dragons) and the ones I lost to were (Blackwings, Frognarchs), so I still have a very long way to go.
OTKing in the Arena is not a very impressive thing at all for reasons I've explained before; the Arena really isn't anything like the actual game (And don't argue with me on this point until you actually play it). I have no idea what kind of duelist you are because I've only seen you play in the arena which is no reflection on how you do in the real game (And once again if you want to argue with this, do it once you've actually played).
