Yeah, alot of it was wasted. The story could have been developed much further. They relied a bit to much on Tron: Evolution for the explanation of story. The only reason why I still love watching it is to:

a) hear daft punks amazing score in action
b) JEFF BRIDGES

But even if the effects did not astound you, I certainly liked them. Sure they did not give off the cool 80's vibe the first one did (well it obvs would since it was made in the 80s) but I still liked them (CEPT FOR CLU2's FACE OMG.)

lol, Vanille kinda grew on me. Her voice was still annoying at times but there were moments when she sounded decent and I thought, "Why couldn't she always sound like that?" Though her summon is weird! @__@
