I love listening to people reading out My Immortal, even when they read it word for word, pronouncing every spelling mistake. And yeah, you learn to hvae a pretty wierd sense of humor when you're on the interent; espeically with this site.

But that's not even why. I really don't want to spoil things, but for the whole falling in lvoe thing, that arguement doesn't reallly hold up in the movies. Again, no spoilers, so it's going to sound complicated. XD

As long as the writer understands their own screwed up life; I guess they aknowledge that they have to be put in some kind of assylem. Better than My Immortal though. :P

I know what you mean. The dub really isn't that bad. They got the same cast as the anime with only a few changes. Rem is in this, but is voiced by a man instead of a girl. The male voice is used in both the Japanse version and the English version, so I guess Viz did it for consistancy. In the 'How to Read' manga, it does say that Rem is a girl.

I told a couple fo my friends the idea of it and they looked at me like I was high. I think the author was high when he/she wrote it. Sady, this was one of those fanfics that didn't seem to just be some reandom crap. I mean, it wouldn't make sense in the series, but it seems like a real Harry Potter fic.

The second movie is really good. The dub isn't bad but the original actors bring it home. The ending is just...amazing. Don't watch trailers for the spin-off movie though if you don't want any spoilers.

Oh God, like that one fanfic someone brought up of Hermione/Sorting Hat. I actually got physically sick after reading half of that. After a while, I was like "Um, no".

It really is just childish the way Light does act. L was the most selfless character in the story even though at times he semed to be selfish. That's kind of why I prefer the ending to the second movie over the original one. He dies to save humainty, which is actually kind of sad, but really awesome.

NO! TRUE DEATH NOTE FANS NEVER MENTION HACK PAIRINGS!!

LOL, I don't know, I'm just bored. I just never fully understnad how one of the most minor characters has a big fanbase. He did look kind of cool but he really wasn't that memorable. I saw the anime first, so when I saw the part where Matt died, I was thinking "okay, who the hell is this guy?".

Near really was my least favorite character though. It was just the way he acted selfishly. I understand trying to catch Kira, but "rub it in his face". It was kind of childish, but it was the way the entire series went about. I remember hearing the director of the movie saying that he saw this movie as "two kids playing chess with peoples lives".

I also did start seeing Mello and Near as kind of decent characters towards the end of the series. Near is a little ****** while Mello is somewhat of a likeable character towards the end. NO idea why those two are the ones the fangirls like though. Also with that guy Matt. He only get's like 3 scenes and the fangirls adore him. Can you explain to me the interest in Matt?

I know what you mean. Even Death Note dragged after L's death. I love how many mangas do have a conclusion, meaning that the writer did intend it to end unlike many shows here where thye keep going as long as they make money. Yeah, 15 is a bit much but everyone has to have their maximum limit. I have seen some mangas that are pretty short though.

Yeah, it's irritating when stuff drags on for too long. The longest manga series I completed was Frutis Basket, which I think was 23 manga's long. i think that's my limit for manga volume, 23. Yeah, it's a little longer than most people, but it may grow longer if I chose to read bleach for real, but I really don't know.

Yeah, I found Fruits Basket good for a laugh and then it decided to take a 180 by trying to be serious. It still worked and had a good ending. I really can't remember all the manga that I've read over the years. I'm into it, but I just can't find the ones I want/get into many of them. I kind of want to continue Bleach, but that one's like 30 manga's in, which is going to kick my budget's ass!

LOL. As long as the story is decent, I'll usually take a look into it. At one school they didn't have much manga but they had this one called Fruits Basket. The idea was silly enough to capture my attention and it turned out to actually be good. One of my friends talked me into watching Ouran High School Host Club and once you look past all the...strange stuff, it was actually funny to watch. Like I said, I'll watch anything as long as it keep my attention, whether it'd be shojo or shonen.

Na, J/k; I think it's an alright anime and at least it's free. I searched around for a couple more, but didn't find much. I'm not a real fan of the $10 mangas, mostly because there doesn't seem to be enough bang fo rmy buck. The only time I buy $10 manga is if it's Soul Eater or it's one of those two-in-one manga (though, they usually cost more). There are some good stories though.

I don't really like reading manga's online. There's just something about having the book in had that makes it feel more authentic. Oh, apparently the first episode of Bleach is a free download on iTunes. :D

Same here with all of my books. I buy them, read through them and then completely forget about them until I end up in the hospital. I have some books that I haven't even read yet. 0_o

Yeah, but I do have some regular English movies, just none really came to mind. Of course, I was considering putting in The Outisiders. And, yeah, Deathly Hallows isn't on DVD yet. No, I don't have a bootleg copy, because that's illegal. (wink) I seriously need to watch my tv shows though; I've had them for months and never finished them. And the reason for 1-5 is because I didn't want to fill up my entire backpack with manga. I have 6 Death Note mangas, thank you very much. :P

      What did I pick?

Movies: Death Note 2: the Last name, Ju-On: The Grudge, Shutter, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Season One, The Big Bang Theory Season One, and Scrubs Season 8

Books: The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, Death Note 1-5, Rosario + Vampre Season Two vol. 1, and Forgotten God.

No, there's no clothes in there. Just some books and movies to watch. I already unpacked, seeing that it's going to be a rather long week.

I had all my personal stuff packed in my backpack last night too. I was ready for anything to happen and then I found out I have another week. It feels like I did all that work just to have it thrown around my room agian. Oh well. XD
