I don't think there's anything you need to know from the series (I read the manga, I don't watch the show xD) that isn't explained in the RP.
As long as you have a basic understanding of the series and jutsu, you'll be alright xD. You can also go to www.Naruto.wikia.com and look stuff up.

I guess a "what if this happened" RP.
It's pretty much the current time with no actual characters from the show xD

daxma is in charge of the Konoha/Kiri squad. He controls the Mizukage (leader of Kiri).
I'm in charge of the Kumo/Iwa squad. I control the Raikage (leader of Kumo).
No one else gets to control a Kage until we need them.

THere's going to be three Tailed Beasts left, one for Konoha, one for Iwa, and one for Suna.

Nope. The only characters that are the same are the tailed beasts, the Sage of Six Paths, and the First Hokage.
The latter two are only the same because I used some history.

Well to put it simply, there is a war.
It's Konoha(leaves) and Kiri(water) against Kumo(lightning) and Iwa(rock) with Suna(sand) being neutral.
Each village has at least one Jinchuriki. Both sides sent a squad to find the Nine-Tails because it has no host before the other side can find it.
There's also a mysterious organization that has kidnapped certain Jinchuriki.

xD It's complicated. It'll get even more complicated later on. I'll let you look at the story in a few minutes, I'm almost done. I'm going to post it as an OOC thread first.

What do you mean good guy? xD There are no good guys, there's two sides in the war. But you don't know this yet, I jsut realized xD Yeah, she can be part of the Village, but she has to be part of that clan. I'm changing things so that's possible.

That's the one I thought you meant. Uhh, it is a clan only jutsu with its clan members having six arms. Do you want six arms? >>

To put it simply, I'm going to allow people to have unique and original jutsu ONLY if it stems from an existing jutsu, such as Kekkei Genkai or Tailed Beast.
Every other jutsu, I have to be able to find in the Naruto Wiki.
Of course, there are some exceptions. What's the name of the jutsu you want?
