Yes...it's for people who haven't heard of the game but maybe have seen the show and may want to try out the game before actually playing it. It's Konami's attempt to get more people to play the game. So obviously many people don't know what they're doing and may have trouble with ANY deck, including the burn one. I tried to play the game just playing with the cards it gave me(I couldn't figure out how to use cheats on my emulator) and I even I had trouble with some dudes burn deck. You may not notice this because you use an E-hero deck, but if you play through the game with a real competitive deck(Like i did with WC10 using BW's), it's mind-bendingly easy, mostly due to its target audience.

What, people playing the video game? You do realize that the target audience of the video game are people who DON'T play the real game right? Oh, and I've seen those posts on gamefaqs, those are mostly people who are trying to beat a road block in the storyline, meaning they're probably just throwing cards together from the game instead of using an actual deck, in which case i can see how a burn deck could be tough. But up against a real deck there is absolutely no excuse for losing to them. And sure, I'll make one when i have time.
