Jaden, if you decide to put Wildheart in your Warrior deck because he's searchable by ROTA and he's helpful because he's not affected by traps, no one is going to yell at you because you're using it outside of his theme. He's helpful in the deck, and you have the freedom to build your deck like you want. I use Gale in every deck that has access to synchros, whether or not it's a Blackwing deck.

Hey, thanks! I knew those were going in, they are a given. I'm pretty much going down the list of spells and finding ALL of the useful ones (thereby making my own list), then constructing the deck from my own list, so it may take a while. In other words, I'm making a virtual "collection".

Yes, but why is that any different than using wildheart? I don't think wildheart's status as an E-hero means he should only be allowed in E-hero decks. He should be used where he's helpful.

I agree, but they could have very well incorporated Wildheart into a strategy, even if it's a dragon deck.

In my opinion, every tuner other than Vayu can be used in any deck that wants to synchro summon. It's just a matter of preference.

Black Rose Dragon is a very splashable card, blowing up the field can save you easily. I have it in every deck I use that has access to synchros.

And if people choose to put Wildheart in their dragon deck, it's their decision. It's a bad one, because the whole point of dragons is to draw and dump as many dragons as possible, but they have the freedom to do it.

IMO the only synchro cards that aren't splashable are ones that need certain types of monsters, like the synchro version of Summoned Skull (the name escapes me right now) that needs Plaguespreader Zombie and a Zombie Type monster. Plaguespreader Zombie is a very splashable card but since it also calls for a Zombie, which are mostly unusable other than Zombie decks, I don't think that card is splashable.

It's not that hard to figure out.
Look at E-hero necroshade. It couldn't possibly be helpful outside of E-heroes could it? No. So using it is definitely violating the rule.
But look at E-hero Wildheart. Completely different story, it's always helpful to have a card that can't be Bottomless'd or Mirror Force'd. So Wildheart isn't a STAPLE, but it's a pretty splashable card and using it outside of its theme is reasonable.

So yeah, I'm pretty sure you can figure out what's okay and what isn't.

I'm not going to list every staple, but generally any card that's helpful even outside of its theme (mask of darkness, kuriboh, sangan, etc.) can be considered splashable.

1. Holy crap, that card is amazing.
2. Yeah, your deck is working pretty well for me, I've only lost a few times. Great Tornado, Shining Flare Wingman, Gaia, Absolute Zero, and the Shining have pretty much been the key cards for me. I usually draw really bad for some reason though. Also, the deck doesn't have nearly enough draw power for how much it leaves you handless. Also, the only non-fusion monsters on that deck that can survive on the field for a good amount of time are Stratos and Bladedge, and other than that you can only get fusion monsters out with combos that leave you handless, which is kind of a problem for me.

But yeah, it's pretty fun to get to 13000 LP and OTK the opponent with three boss monsters after halving the ATK of their key card twice with Gaia and Great Tornado (I did this to Blue Eyes White Dragon).
