Goku only went into the room of spirit and time once. Trunks and Vegeta went in a second time during the 10 days so they should be around the strength of Goku

And yeah its all up to Akira Toriyama to decide

But Goku fought with Pikkon and trained in otherworld in the actual show remember? That means it is canon.

And Goku was much stronger than Vegeta and Trunks after he emerged from the hyperbolic time chamber.

But yeah, You do have a point with all that...

I guess only Akira Toriyama himself would know the answer...

But Goku was weakened from his fight with Cell...fighting Cell drained him of most of his strength...

Otherwise he could've stopped the Cell Juniors...

The Cell Juniors were not as powerful as the real Cell because after Gohan went SSJ2 he was able to kill them with only one hit...

And when Perfect Cell blew up and became stronger than ever as Super Perfect Cell his Power Level was equal to Gohan's...

It is indeed debatable...

But as I said before, Since Dead SSJ Goku had to help the others I'm thinking Broly is stronger...

Because at this point Goku's power would have greatly increased from his training in otherworld with King Kai and from his fight with Pikkon whom you recall beat both Cell and Frieza like they were nothing...

And since he was combining his power into the Kamehameha with the rest of the other fighters and yet Broly was still holding them off with only one hand I would say Broly is stronger than Cell...

What are your thoughts on this?

Hmmm...You do have a point...

However, Broly's strength had increased in Movie 10...

And if you recall Goku's ghost had to appear temporarily to help them defeat Broly...

And by this point Goku would be stronger than when he fought Cell and stronger than Gohan due to the training he had in otherworld...

And Broly was EFFORTLESSLY pushing away his Kamehameha along with everyone else's using only ONE HAND while Cell had to use ALL of his power and BOTH HANDS just to keep back Gohan's Kamehameha...

I think that answer's the question. Broly is stronger than Cell.

Broly seemed to recover and get his strength back pretty quickly in movie 10 though...

And if you remember in movie 8 it was revealed that he was able to survive Planet Vegeta's explosion by using his energy...

So he could probably use his energy to survive Cell's Explosion and not take any damage from it like he did with Planet Vegeta...

Cell would then return with an SSJ2 Power Level though...(Because if you remember after Cell came back stronger than ever after self-destructing him and Gohan were both evenly matched.)

Then things would REALLY get intense!

Because Broly's Power Level is roughly around that of an SSJ2 in his Legendary Super Saiyan Form...

That's true. Gohan hadn't trained for 7 years so his power level would've diminished...

That's also true...However, If you recall Broly also survived having a knife stabbed into his stomach...And he also said: "Did he really think I would die just because this planet was about to explode?" Apparently that means he's capable of surviving even if a planet blows up in his face...

So that COULD mean that he would survive if Cell were to self-destruct...

Lots of people have debated on that but I've used my head and I know the answer. Broly is stronger.[IMG] Reason why is because if you remember that movie Broly The Legendary Super Saiyan took place after everyone finished their training in the hyperbolic time chamber. And if you recall when Goku fought Prefect Cell in his new Fully Developed Super Saiyan Form they both seemed evenly matched. However, when Goku fought Broly in his Legendary Super Saiyan Form Broly was tossing him around like a rag doll beating him like he was nothing...

And when Goku used his Ultimate Kamehameha on Perfect Cell it blasted away his head and limbs.

But when he used it on Broly it had no effect at all...

And if you remember, Cell had to use every bit of his power and use both hands to keep Gohan's Ultimate Kamehameha from hitting him. But if you remember in Movie 10 Broly The 2nd Coming Broly was holding off the attacks of Goku, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks EFFORTLESSLY using only ONE hand laughing as he did it...
