Depends on the class. Some classes will have weekly quizzes, some will have just aset of tests, some (mostly math and english classes) have homework, and some are just midterms and finals.

Depends on the class. My Monday, Wednesday, Friday classes are 50 minutes, while Tues and Thurs are usually an hour and 15 minutes. If you have a class just once a week, it'll probably last up to 3 hours. And labs last longer than most lectures.
